The Lamb was the most tender and lean we've ever had, and the chicken kadai was spicey and very tasty. Peshawar naan sweet and unusually tangy. Spot on ! No tap water served🤔....seat covers need refreshing very tired looking. It was super busy well worth a visit.

Dined at punjab palace last night with my family of 6. Superb from start to finish .we had a korma, tikka masala , chicken tandoori on the sizzler and chicken biriyani - all delicious , clean And non- greasy. Great hospitality

This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the area. The food is excellent. The staff is friendly, very accommodating. Our favorite plays are Chicken Tikka Puri, Punjab Special, Lamb Curry, Mixed Balti Always very tasty and you can get as 🔥 as you want by requesting it. Pro tip: Phal is the hottest on the menu. If you dare, go for it.

Hands down the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had...great super friendly staff, good atmosphere and the coolest beer tap ever! It’s a cobra! As the saying goes “food will fill your belly, but great cuisine will fill your soul”...thank you Punjab Palace.

By far the best Indian Restaurant in Mijas Costa and ive been eating here for over 10 years. The service is excellent and the food is always consistently good. No 2 curries taste the same and the tandoori platters are excellent. No easy to find as its a sharp turnoff called Playamarina next to the El Faro exit. A hidden gem.

We had a takeaway. Phoned the order through and sent the address over WhatsApp. The order was delivered within 45 mins. It was excellent. Great value for the money.

Was here the other day! Get there approx. vod 8 o'clock in the evening and I ordered butter chicken, and the others some other dishes I don't remember the name of. Also Garlic naan bread, regular naan bread and regular and including garlic rice. The food was great and you got a lot of everything! The staff was also funny and nice. Recommended!

We are here several times in June as we where on holiday in the area. The food was absolutely fantastic.. so much so that we are here twice on our holiday. The staff where friendly but one member of staff in particular made us feel very very welcome.. His name is Aadi and I can honestly say his attention to detail was second to none and is a very nice human being too!!! If I’m ok holiday in this area again then we will definitely be revisiting!!

We went last night and the food was delicious. The samosas were superb, with the right pastry, the sauces were good and the onion bhaji crunchy. As for the main courses, I had palak paneer which was just right, my son had prawn vindaloo which was the only dish not as tasty as we’ve had in other restaurants, and my partner had garlic chili prawns which we expected to be hot and it was completely mild. Their pilau rice was good and their Paratha was excellent. One note of warning for late diners such as Spaniards: the kitchen closes at 23:30 and that means they won’t even serve coffee or dessert -even ready made ones like ice cream- after that time.

Overall, an enjoyable dining experience. Customer service was decent and attentive. Restaurant was clean and no remnants on the floor. Ordered the Fish Balti and boiled rice. Food was hot and flavorful. Also had an Indian tea, the aroma was cinnamonly and sweet. Prices were typical for the area.

We are staying in the area and have visited this restaurant twice. I have tried two different main courses and both have been very tasty but albeit a little tame for a medium curry. Have to say the samosas were not very spicy, but will visit again.

We have eaten here on many occasions and found the food and service to be excellent. Yesterday we ordered a take away and were disappointed in the small portion size for the price and also did not find the food quality to be of the usual high standard.

Be aware that when ordering still water, they do not have large bottles (ltr) they only serve 330ml glass bottled water, however, this is served with the bottles opened before they arrive at your table, this is illegal in Spain, all mineral water should be served unopened for obvious reasons. I discussed this with the waiter who all of a sudden went very nonchalant. I didn’t pursue the matter as I was with my young children who were thirsty. The food and service were good…..then came the bill ….10 euros for the 4 x 330ml bottles of water, that’s an eye ‘watering’ 2.50 euros a bottle. Obscene prices for what could have been ‘tap water’. Like I said I was with my children but if I ever return and possibly (but not likely) order the water I will insist on unopened bottles. Probably have a beer instead…it’s cheaper!. Hope this helps.

This was the worst good experience we had on the coast. Absolutely not recommended Everything comes from a deep oil frying, and they serve tofu instead of paneer cheese. Ridiculous.

Found this restaurant on google and Tried this place as it was close to where we are staying in El chaparral. I Ordered a simple takeaway for 1. Cost €28 which seems quite expensive. (Equivalent curry in the UK would be about half that price. Food was tasteless and bland and they even forgot to include the 1 popadom I ordered which is annoying! I’m sorry to say that I Will not be returning.

After so many good reviews, we decided to try this restaurant. First red flag when the waitress asked my wife "are they your children?" talking about our 4 kids. My Baileys was a coffee cream, for sure but not an original Baileys... We received the main dishes for us first, even though we specifically precised that the kids should have their first. When my wife put her fork in her dish, she found a piece of hair.... After complaining about it, they came back with another portion but we had to ask for a fork. The naan bread came without sauce even though we requested mango chutney during our order. My butter paneer was absolutely tasteless, so was my wife's madras gambas (spicy but no flavour). The portions were ridiculously small for the price. The chicken for the kids was not even cut accordingly. And as a cherry on top, the toilet was a paddle. Nobody asked if we needed a dessert or coffee after taking the plates away. However, the guys working in the kitchen had the time to keep checking out our pre-teen daughter. We have been waiting like idiots for the bill and it's only when we put our jackets on that they woke up and asked if we wanted to get the bill. We are really wondering how a place like this can survive.

Absolutely Rubbish. Ordered Lamb Tikka Rogan Josh, received the worse lamb korma ever made. Poppadoms were soft and chewy, dips were tasteless. Your Sunday dinner is more Indian than this Rubbish. Save your expectations and don't go. It is a complete waste of time waiting and definitely disappointing, even if your starving. Ignore and leave it at all costs. Marks out of 10 = 0, they are incapable of making Indian food.

Finalmente recurrí a mi banco y he conseguido una retrocesión en el pago más de 3 meses después. Para terminar decir que la comida es muy mediocre. No lo recomiendo y obviamente no volveré jamás.

The most horrible chicken korma ever made - so full of sugar that it’s too sweet even as a desert! Inedible!!!! Biriyani was a mixture of some sauce with white rice - horrible watery disgrace!! Lamb wasn’t fresh. Hope I don’t get sick 🤢 tomorrow. I was servers something that looked like a few days old dried food coloured “pilaf rice” as “biriyani rice” for €3.75 Mango lassi was also very bad and made from some sauce not actual mango. Totally not recommended. Their excuse when we complained was that “all restaurants in this area serve such food”. Rice / bread are charged extra and are very expensive. No table water and a tiny bottle of water (a glass!) is €2.25 Naan bread wasn’t good either with strong yeast smell (it should be made without yeast!!). We left most of the food ordered and were very disappointed. Don’t do our mistake - avoid at all cost!!
