Luna Rossa Milan Reviews
I’m ready to return to Milan just to eat here again. I ended up in this restaurant with my family by chance, but from the moment we walked in, we knew it was a perfect find. The staff were incredibly kind, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was excellent with generous portions. We loved it so much that we planned our trip back home so we could visit one more time before our flight! Highly recommended. Greetings from a family with a little boy who didn’t want anyone to take the dishes off the table ;)
In the heart of Milan, a few blocks from the Duomo. We were looking for a restaurant “where the locals would eat!” We found it . Bustling and busy- which is understandable once you are welcomed and taste the food! The owner “greets and seats”. The efficiency and effort of the wait staff is impressive. Tourists mixed with construction workers , friends blended with family, it’s all done with warm hospitality and generous servings of what I would call “home cooking” with style and flavors of Milan!
So cheap and so delicious in the heart of Milan! Only 10 minutes walk from the Duomo and still so cheap. I loved it! The pasta I ate was so tasty and they had many different types also you could choose the type of pasta you want them to make your dish. Unlimited cheese as well. The place was full during lunchtime but still the service was quick. A must place to visit when in Milan, highly recommend!
5 stars for no dubt, This restaurant is one of most recommend from my list to Italy. The price is very good but the food even exceed my expectation. Always crown but the service is fast. The staffs are very nice especially the lady name "Lanna" (Sorry, I'm not sure how to pronounce her name)
The best pizzeria in Milano! We enjoyed wood oven cooked pizzas, desserts and all the friendly and professional Staff who made all our lunch/dinner great. I got a special Calzone as the one I was used to eat in Italian restaurants in France: Calzone with ham, mozzarella + a raw egg on top of the inside ingredient into the dough...yolk has to stay liquid but white is cooked! It was perfect! This place is crowded with local workers and some tourists each day...Prices are very reasonable and impeccable service.
Italian restaurant frequented by locals. Huge selection of authentic pasta and pizza. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the amount and quality of food and the location near downtown. It gets very crowded at lunchtime, but there's usually not a long wait due to the large number of tables. Be aware that the portions are huge.
Big menu, good prices, great location. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. We both had pizzas, the Sole and The Fume. The crust was perfect and the ingredients fresh. Figured it was a good spot when there were local firemen, construction workers, businessmen. Think we were the only tourists. Would definitely go back.
The food was great (carbonarra and salami pizza amazing), but veal with vine sauce was very thin, and no vine in sauce. The taste of veal was absolutely tasteless. Would love to give high stars, but veal destroyed it. Also one of waitress was very rude, was scares to ask anything from her
A classic, no-frills dinner spot — cozy, traditional dinner experience — the kind of place where you know what to expect. The food was decent and comforting, nothing too adventurous, but nicely presented and satisfying. It has that familiar, classic vibe that makes it a reliable stop if you’re looking for a calm meal in the city.
I ordered 3 pizza. 2 out of 3 were very nice. Sorry but the capricciosa with artichokes that was only with hard parts you usually throw, was not what I expected at all. We had to separate the shells of the artichoke from the pizza. Seriously looked like somebody put leftovers on that pizza. Awful 😣
