Old Fashion Club Milan Reviews
I went with a local and reserved a table with a bottle. Long line to get inside otherwise. Yes, they're going to be biased towards locals and maintain the vibe they want. This is the same as clubs in Mexico or other places, I don't think people are used to that, but you have to respect some places are not really for tourists.
As tourists, we did not know where to go out on Friday night, however we were recommended this place by a bartender so decided to go. In the queue we were easily let in, we were there with other French guys, which made us a bigger mixed group. The bouncers were a big indecisive at first, but I think that’s because of how busy the club was more likely. However, I believe that they should pay more attention to the males inside the club, as there was multiple ones that did not know to take NO for an answer sadly. Apart from that, the bartenders were really nice and made good drinks, it was a big overpriced, but for the venue it’s worth paying the price. And lastly, the music that was playing was a good mix of Latin songs, and even if dancing was forbidden the mood was great!
Went relatively early and the bouncers were nice. The music wasn’t great, but I still had fun went with my boyfriend. It’s nice because it’s outdoors so it doesn’t get way too hot, and if you only speak English you should be able to get around easily enough.
Club is nice, we where there on a Saturday night in January. Made reservations though WhatsApp wat was quick. When we where there the average age was max 25. So if that's oke with you its a nice club, for us it was to young. Entree was 25 euro with a free drink. To hang up your coats is 5 euro for every coat.
Molta attesa fuori dal locale, non volevano farci entrare perché secondo i buttafuori "c'erano troppi ragazzi" e volevano far entrare solo noi ragazze (eravamo 4 ragazze e 6 ragazzi), dopo aver pregato di farci entrare perché eravamo in lista ci hanno fatti entrare. Musica monotona, buttafuori molto aggressivi e maleducati.
Overpriced and outdated club, cheap low class alcohol sold for too much money. Please beware of guys offering you open drinks there, which happened to me a few times over the night - one good thing about the place is that security kicked one of those guys out. Also, it doesn’t feel very luxurious to pee in chemical toilets when you dress nice to go out, I could imagine that with all the money they charge they’ll have normal clean toilets. I have a feeling the place could be nicer on summertime.
The bouncers are specific - if you wear brand-name basketball shorts, you're in. If you were dressy shorts without an obvious brand, you can't get in. You pay cover charge. You have to pay close attention to the bartenders. They poured drinks with only mixers on ice and no alcohol AFTER you paid for them. The music is boring. People only start coming in after 1 am. Overall, meh.

Ma io dico, almeno ditelo prima no?
Don't spend your money here! Even though we had reserved a table we had to wait an hour in the queue, we then paid for 400€ for our 10-people table which turned out to be one tiny sofa that could only fit 2 people, and it wasn't even in a "privé" or in a somehow separated area, it was in the middle of a busy passage way. Not like all tables there are like this, they do have an actual reserved section (privé) with tables, but they were already full and they just put un on a random sofa that was clearly for public use (our guess is they overbooked to make more money) We ended up only using the "table" to put our coats on because after this terrible experience we didn't want to give them more money for the wardrobe.. Sadly since it wasn't in a private area one of us had to remain their to check on the coats at all time because people kept trying to sit at our "table", so we had to alternate and couldn't even dance all together. Oh, also, the toilets in the ladies room are ridiculously tiny and since women don't have the possibility to aim like men do, the floors were all covered in pee
They don't let you in if you're English. First question old bouncer with grey hair asked me after I said ciao, was if I was English. Then said reservation only, but he didn't even ask me if I had a reservation. I asked him how much then, and he rudely said no and that we need to leave. But your other bouncer told us €300 entry? €300? Do you think we are stupid? Your bouncers are trying to pocket cash. Meanwhile they were letting in Italians with no fuss. What is this? We shouldn't have wasted our time coming to this dump. One racist bouncer, and another is a beggar. Every single review is saying the same thing, you should be ashamed of yourselves. What kind of place are you running here? A circus run by donkeys.
Maybe one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had when trying to get into a club, they let in all of our friends which happen to be white. And me and my other friend who are dark they said we aren’t allowed into the club. It was completely racist and honestly I hope this club closes. I think one star is generous for this dump, doesn’t deserve to be in business. There’s a guy with white hair who pretends to be nice but he’s the one who was racist towards me and a good friend. I hope this resonates with people of colour and people that generally want to have a good time
If you see this, don't go. Waaaay to long of a line, totally not worth it to go. I went there 6 times, never had fun. Go to the club beside it, even then, leave that part of Milan alone. Rather go to a bar you like and take it over, it'll be way more fun. JUST DON'T GO TO OLD FASHIONED!!
This club was recommended to us by some locals, so we decided to give it a shot. We had to take a 1 hour long walk uphill from the city centre (because overall there are no other places to go party even on a friday night) When we got there we were waiting in a line for quiet a while and were very surprised by a 30 euro/per person entrance fee and rude personel and that ruined our whole experience. The club is located outside and it was packed to the roof. Not even any space to dance. A free drink was included in the fee But we felt like the drinks were very “light”. The Music was pretty good But it was impossible to move. Overall we wouldnt visit again and we definetly dont recommend.
Disgusting treatment from the bouncers who were rude and overall insulting to my friend who was speaking in English. We had made reservations via WhatsApp with a promoter, but it turns out this guarantees nothing and to top it off we were told that only the girls could enter (3 girls, 2 guys). This isn't the first time we have been discriminated against in Italy both due to the fact that some of us aren't "typically" Italian-looking (these bouncers are racist), and we spoke in English. When I asked in Italian why men weren't being allowed into the club (bear in mind, Italian men were entering right beside us so they were lying), the bouncer (white haired older man - I believe others have had terrible experiences with him too) was less rude but refused to explain. Another bouncer next to him said that it was just how it was. When we asked a third bouncer in another queue, he said that men were being allowed in, so again that first bouncer was just lying. I cannot stress enough how rude that white haired bouncer was; we were polite and excited to go clubbing and he was horrible without provocation! We will never go back to Old Fashioned, and I wouldn't recommend wasting your money or time on going there either. Ignore the one-star rating, because this place is a solid zero.
We booked a table. But they put us in a really quiet area of the club. We had brought a bottle for €250. We wanted to move tables. But they told us we had to buy another bottle for €250 to move table. Management are money hungry and take advantage. I would probably avoid this place
English people beware! Myself and 2 work colleagues attend here last Saturday, having this place recommended by the locals I thought we would try it out, having queued up almost an hour the security said we could enter if we have a table that was €1000, I don’t mind spending money but this was basically taking advantage over well dressed men, I asked if there was an alternative table only to be told to leave! Disgraceful behaviour.
We paid 300 euros for a Prive, which turned to be a jungle! Meaning people jumping and kicking each other, zero space, zero respect! On top the personnel was arrogant to the max! Please don't go there if you want to spend a decent night in Milano!
The food was very pretty and the service was great. The view of Milano is fantastic, but the accolades stop there. The rabbit roll was more of a warm pate wrapped in a firm meat. I wasn't sure if the accompanying cracker were for the weird textured "mush" or for looks. The dish wasn't explained at all and eating it was less than pleasant. The filling of the roll was lukewarm with a disgusting mouthfeel. The sauce was very good. The pasta was nothing special and definitely not worth the cost. Which bring me to the largest tragedy... Creme brulee. Absolutely the worst I have ever eaten. Creme brulee is 4 ingredients: cream/milk, egg yolks, sugar, flavoring. You make a custard and bake in a water bath until the custard sets. This creme brulee was pretty, but as soon as the sugar was cracked, disappoinment. The custard was over cooked. The texture was beyond ruined. It was grainy and chunky. The desert should be smooth and velvety. The custard should be strained before adding to the cooking dish. This pitiful rendition was like eating a ground up McDonalds egg patty. It was evident that the chef either started his creme brulee with hot water or no water at all, because the very center of the creme brulee was the only part of the dish palatable; about one spoonful. Utterly disappointed. Creme brulee is my metric of measure of a restaurant. 4 ingredients cooked with care and patience. If you can't do it correctly, you should go back to basics or culinary school.
I attended a party and paid for the ticket. I had to go home (10' away) to take a pill to prevent an allergic reaction caused by sth I ate at their restaurant and they said that if i came back i had to pay the full ticket again. My friend told them it was for a medical reason but they refused to listen. It's a pity cus the club seemed to b nice...but I had a negative experience. Maybe in these special cases security should ask the manager for authorization. It would be a wise move that would guarantee customer satisfaction and add to the club's good reputation.
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a club I was invited into vip and after like 20 minutes I was grabbed by a security guard to be carried out because some girl that WORKED there said I spit on her! As we were walking out of vip I see this girl running and she ended up jumping over 2 couches to try to fist fight me! I did not spit on this girl I had no reason too and had no clue who she was! I’m absolutely disgusted and was kicked out the entire club not just VIP. I tried to talk to 3 security guards and was told I had to leave because the director of the club said I’m not allowed back in. I told them to watch the cameras as you can see me only have 1 drink and that I did not spit on this girl. I’ve never seen a club kick out the person that was being attacked and not the person charging at me to fight. Over all it’s not worth it!!! Next door is Just Cavalli and it’s so cool and so much more fun! It’s a better atmosphere and worth spending your money!
Never had i ever experience such bad customer service and care in a club. We had a table reserved at the club and when we got there at 11.15 the security told us that the club was closed untill 12 and we had to wait outside in the cold whilst it was raining, even tough on their website it says they are open from 11. When we finally were let in, the club was full...The table we had reserved for 8 people was literally a bench, it had no table and only fit 5 people. Atleast when we cmplained we got a place where we all fit. After that we order 2 bottles of alcohol for €400 and each bottle came with only five small mixers, wen we asked for more they tried to charge €10 for each mixer...the club is extremelly crouded the guys are very handsy and its not a place to come and just have fun. At the end of the night some of our friends wanted to go home so when we walked them to the taxi the rest were not allowed back in, for no reason. The staff are extremely rude, provide a very poor customer service and work against their clients. Never experienced such a hostile environment on a night out. Would not waist your time going there.
They advertised "free entrance + gift", and I guess the gift was that I had to pay for entrance. The staff is rude and the bouncers are aggressive. Oh, and they'll charge you for extra services you didn't ask for and may or may not even give them to you. Stay away. Edit: Since I'm being called a liar by Old Fashion I will provide some more details. When I arrived to the club my friends and I was asked by the doorman if we wanted the free entrance or 10€ for two drinks. We all answered free entrance, and we were handed a colored piece of paper to give to the receptionist. The receptionist then asked for 1€ payment, and when I asked about the free entrance I was told "pay, or get out". The bouncer also yelled something in Italian that i did not understand. Now paying one euro for entrance to a night club isn't a problem, but yelling at customers, calling them liars and falsely advertising is. The free entrance + gift was a promotion for Erasmus students through the group Milano Erasmus. I asked this group about the promotion the day after, and they answered that peopled had received this promotion with a free drink as the gift. The picture is from their whats'app group. The thing with the extra charge was also an Erasmus promotion some weeks before, 1€ Buffet or 10€ Buffet + 3 drinks. Me and my friend asked for the 1€ buffet, but the receptionist charged my friend 10€ (I payed with card, so the amount was correct). My friend did not receive the 3 drinks either, and when she confronted the receptionist about this the bouncer told her to go inside or leave. The people were not interested in helping at all, the bouncer even told her "I don't care" when she said she had gotten the wrong change. I hope you actually take this seriously instead of lashing out on your customers like you did to me.
