Piadineria Milan Reviews
Fresh sandwiches for a quick snack suitable anytime. I prefer to go there for a quick brunch sandwich.
Works like a fastfood, not expensive like a fastfood, but tastes like local food. The bread was crispy, the cheese and the meat were of good quality. I loved it
Nice place, but what restaurant doesn't have salt
Fabulous fabulous fabulous! These delectable sandwiches, if you can call them that ,were some of the best I have had anywhere. After researching best foods to eat in Milan I came across these sandwiches and walked in today 6/1/2023 to try them out with my daughter. We both chose to create our own which gave us so many choices to chose from. We used the self serve touch screen where you could create the order in English. Each sandwich only cost 11 Euro and they were huge! Quite big enough to satisfy anyone’s hunger. A must try if you in Italy. I think these sandwiches are best enjoyed as takeaway food outside the restaurant itself as seating was limited and it can be crowded at peak hours of the day. That is what we did. The staff did not seem to be able to converse in English as well. Despite these two minor shortcomings the food itself is worth a visit. As they are a chain they should be available in most cities in Italy.
Great place to go for a quick stop near the city centre. They make hot flat breads with a good selection of fillings. It was delicious and very quick! There was a lack of seating so just be aware of that if you are looking for more of a sit down lunch experience. I would definitely recommend it (I had the cheese, mushroom and ham).
Good value. Excellent piadine. Sorely lacking enough seats. Customers either take away or sit on benches laid along the perimeter of the windows. It's the kind of delicious, no nonsense place that makes eating in Italian historical centres still charming despite the lack of comforts.
I ordered sea food wrap.. it wasn't good at all. For an Indian it was too bland in addition to this shrimps were uncooked. Plus their self ordering Machine did not have English option so we had to choose food in Italian language which was super difficult. We had to use Google translator. It took a lot of time to figure out menu. In my opinion they should add few more options in menu which are generic and specific to Indian. As a lot of Indians visit Italy and they would love to try this local experience which some Indian twist in it.
Awful experience. I had a salad at another store and the portion was huge, so that I decided to get one here as last time it was more filling than just a piadina. There were 2 shrimps (and I put double portion in the order) and the box was nearly empty. 12€ for a salad with nothing inside… Too bad for the poor guy who was left alone managing the kitchen and the cashier but other than that awful experience. Also, there is no bathroom here.
I like the franchise, but this restaurant is embarrassing! First, it just has literally 4 seats, so if you are not lucky enough to get one of them, you have to eat while standing, on a bench-like shelf that is placed lower than your hips. Most important: the food is poor and the piadine are basically empty. I even asked for the roll (which is more expensive and, they say, 50% more filled) but there was like 20 grams of ham, 10 grams of mozzarella and some shade of rocket. I understand that the neighborhood is super close to the cathedral and the rent is costly, but there is no respect for the customers. I hope they solve this insult.
The staff is not friendly at all. Even though the shop closes at 21:30, they did not take my "take away" order at 21:15 and they were very rude about it. I don't suggest this place, find a different place to order and eat Piadine.
We ordered few chicken wraps and few vegetarian wraps. After waiting for a while the lady here tells us there is no chicken and no avocado, we asked for a refund and she says that she can replace avocado with peppers and potato, is this a joke? We pushed for a refund and she never agreed. We had to settle for disaster wraps customised at her own will. If ingredients like chicken are not available any more why is the wrap even available to order in the first place? Really terrible service and food.
