Antica Pizzeria da Giulio Milano Reviews
Really loved this place! Delicious food (we had pizza) and such an authentic atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and warm, despite the language barrier—they tried hard to use the English they knew and even used gestures to communicate with us. Prices were great. Definitely recommend!
Authentic Italian local cuisine with funny and kind waiters, delicious meals. We didn't choose, just let the waiter suggest from the menu, and we got the best pasta in town. Tram3 goes there from the center.
Even if they can’t speak english they are so cute, friendly and helpful. The envirement is so nice, the food are delicious and not too expensive. We loved it! -from Hungary
It's not just a restaurant...it's a home where you are going to have dinner or supper with friends. No some restaurant features. It's a really home food with a home atmosphere. I don't like Italian cuisine but it's different. Homemade dishes.
We stumbled on this place and loved it. Food was fabulous, price was quite reasonable. Service was friendly and fun.
AMAZING PIZZA!!! Must try, really affordable also! Very polite and nice staff!
Amazing pizza never had a slice of pizza so big
A spontaneous trip as where we were planning on visiting was closed. My friend and I had a pasta plate each (vongole for me, carbonara for her) and both were amazing. We followed this up with a 'slice' of pizza that's as big as your head (marinara for me, 4 cheeses for her) and they were delicious but so big we had to take the second half away! The pizzas are on a thick focaccia type base. Service was excellent, no English, but a wonderful experience and we found a way to communicate. The above plus cover and a carafe of wine came to 40Euro. I would recommend this place to anyone holidaying in Milan.
I got in the restaurant by accident. Ling story short: amazing food, friendly stuff and reasonable prices.

Surprisingly great. I came with full stomach and didn't plan to eat, I ended up with finishing a plate of spaghetti with clams.
I ate here with my girlfriend today, great service and a real simple/classic Italian dining experience. The quality was great for the price you pay, don't be put off by the pizza "slices", they are huge!!
Is this a fine dining restaurant? Absolutely not. Is this a place to sit for hours over a meal? No. Is this an authentic trattoria where you get served up tasty plates of food and get to feel like …

Came to Milan for a few days. This pizzeria was near my house. The first time everything was fine, quite tasty. The next day I came in right after opening at about 12, I wanted to have a quick breakfast, I chose a table by the window, it was for four people, but there wasn’t any client in the pizzeria, the place was completely empty and it wasn’t booked, there were still a lot of tables around. I wanted to sit right there. A man came up to me and in a rude, raised tone showed me that I could sit at a table for two. Indicated like know your place and he throw menu on table. I tried to politely explain to him that I wanted to sit by the window and have breakfast. But he didn't know English. Again, in a raised tone, he indignantly indicated where I should sit far away from window. In a completely empty pizzeria! After that, of course, I didn’t want to eat there. I don't recommend tourists to eat here. Here the client's opinion means nothing. They will be rude and scream at you.
AVOID AVOID AVOID, Tourist rip off, the waiter took the money of the bill and never came back with the change; when I asked where the change was he started screaming saying that it was no change, with a very aggressive tone of voice. Food was not particularly impressive. If the service had been better maybe I wouldn’t have minded and give it as tip. But BAD food, BAD service and BAD attitude to clients.
