Ba'Ghetto Milano Reviews
O. M. G! One of the BEST Kosher restaurants on earth! Originally found Baghetto in Rome, like 6 years ago. Was thrilled to see that they opened in Milan, Florence & Venice. And, they didn't disappoint! Authentic, fresh and succulent grilled meats and pasta. Prices are very reasonable! Absolute MUST if you're visiting Milano! 😋🇮🇹
My first night in Milan and I went to ba ghetto for dinner. The food was amazing, it came so quick and tasted to fresh. The best part of my night was the service , each waiter was so nice and respectful the chef even gave us free wine and lemonchello shots before we left. It was truly the best welcome dinner to Italy I will definitely be going back!
First time coming to the restaurant, the experience is so well worth it! The food was delicious. The service was incredible and you felt like you were at home! Wonderful atmosphere very very friendly staff and very welcoming!!next time in Milan we will definitely come back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Best restaurant of meat in Milan. I ordered lamb, and was the best I have had in my life. Highly recommend.
Ba Ghetto Milano is a nice spacious coaster restaurant with really good food and a very wide menu to choose from. All the dishes were nicely portioned and plated well. The test was nice and the service friendly. Very well priced.
Ba Ghetto was amazing! We visit NYC often and have access to great Kosher food that way, but Ba Ghetto (we also went to Venice & Florence) is some of the best food we had. We were worried going to Italy and kosher we’d miss out on “authentic” Italian food but nope! The pasta was fresh, wine amazing, and everything else just delicious. Plus, pretty affordable compared to US kosher food!! You have to visit! It’s good to make a reservation during busier seasons (like summer) but we got seated without issues. They are also very kid friendly and were very nice to our toddler!
I have never tasted better pasta in my life. So frickin good. No joke, I never order pasta because I never cared much for it and it makes me nauseous for some reason. Anyway, I had to get pasta in Italy and woah, I couldn’t get enough of it. My husband who is a strictly (I only like meat) guy was also obsessed. It was the one with the meat cubes but I think it had some truffle in it also, which I usually don’t like so much but this was a perfect amount and complimented the other ingredients so well that I am going to try to recreate this pasta because I need more of it in my life.
Great place, really delicious food - the steak was tender and tiramisu was unforgettable. Very friendly stuff and Chef Enrico made the dinner very enjoyable. Will be definitely back again next time I visit Milan. I recommend to call this place and reserve the table because it was booked out.
Nice atmosphere, the staff very very helpful to this non-italian speaker explaining the menu. Good wine selection including small bottles for those alone or looking for less. Food I had was good, above average. Portions very generous. Reviews complaining about prices are a bit misspoke, this is Kosher and the base cost is just higher! I found the pricing fair for Europe

Lovely food, good size portions, not over-priced and very friendly staff-would recommend it. My only criticism is the parking!

We were a family of five travelling to Milan. Waiting staff, Joseph, and cook were excellent. Food was tasty, served well, with Italian kosher wine. A delight. Well recommended.

We had the best experience at Ba Ghetto! We had a cooking class with Chef Enrico. He was so nice and patient and is an amazing chef. The food we made was delicious. Can’t wait to come back soon!
The vibe here is excellent. The service was genuinely kind and attentive, and you can tell they really try. That said, the food didn’t quite live up to the offerings at the chain’s Venice location. The biggest letdown was the fried artichoke. Here, it was a salty, heavy chip a far cry from the amazing full artichoke version we enjoyed in Venice. The pasta also felt overcooked and a bit uninspired. I’ve always wanted to try kosher carbonara, but the version served here didn’t do much to help me understand what makes the non-kosher version so beloved. Still, it’s a true kosher Italian restaurant in Milan with outstandingly fair prices and that’s something to appreciate. I hope the kitchen finds its stride, because everything else is already in place.
We had a very good time here The food looked amazing but I think it didn't taste the best We got 2 pastas (pictured) and a burger The pastas were cooked perfectly and the meat in the pasta was very good, a little salty but good The burger itself was amazing, even if the bread wasn't good at all... Be prepared to pay a lot this restaurant is very expensive... All in all a good experience ... I think the food is for food lovers and food understanders not me... I like simple food lol

We sat outside and it was really nice, for food we got the wings to start and it was a bit small (we shared it, 2 people) but good. The wings are very sweet but the spicy sauce evens it out. We then got the mixed meat platter which was just ok (for whoever likes their meat well done). Warning for whoever sits outside in summer - we got completely eaten by mosquitos, which was super annoying. Would be nice if there were citronella candles or something!
The food I ordered was amazing. Unfortunately it was no longer available, so I ordered second best, which was… second best. Good, but not good enough for the price. I am still waiting for the side …
Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, we were met with an unwelcoming attitude. As a young couple without a reservation, the manager immediately told us the only available table was a cramped spot beside another diner (which clearly made the diner also uncomfortable). When we asked for an alternative, we were told there wasn’t one—even though, throughout our meal and even as we left, most of the tables remained empty. Only after we ordered and it became clear we’d be spending quite a bit did the chef step in to seat us properly. The service remained poor throughout (besides for a young sweet waiter and the chef), and we never felt comfortable. The artichoke starter was excellent, but the main for two was disappointing and average at best. Do not go without a reservation!!!
Overrated. I was hoping to find a good kosher restaurant but instead not at all fine food. Place looks great but the food seams to be old. Bread solid as rock and the cotolletta alla milanese con Patatine was nothing but French fries and milanese flour… the babaganush was sour and from last month at least! Too expensive for not eating well. Shana tova.

Extremely rude since we came in. It took long to order. Artichoke were dry and overcooked. Carbonara was like scrambled eggs. The veg were heated up in the microwave, they were cold outside and warm inside. Guest around were sending food back too, definitely lots of space for improvement in the kitchen and same training is needed too in the dining room staff. I asked for a manager to give a feedback about my experience and I’ve been told that he refused to come. Disrespectful and low quality. Avoid those fake restaurants!
I had an extremely unpleasant, disappointing experience at Bghetto in Milan. The service was poor, painfully slow and unprofessional and awful attitude from owners and staff from start to finish. Prices are frankly disgusting and obscene for what is offered, and nothing about the experience justified the cost. I have travelled extensively and eaten out all over the world and this stands out as one of the worst disgraceful and disgusting dining experiences I’ve had. The establishment appears poorly managed, with no sense of care, organization, or accountability. Staff and the owner were rude, arrogant and disrespectful and the overall atmosphere was unfriendly and unpleasant. I left with the strong impression that the business is neither sincere nor honest in how it treats its customers, which makes it feel untrustworthy. Overall, this is a badly mismanaged restaurant with worse than slow service, inflated prices and an unpleasant attitude toward guests. I would personally highly recommend avoiding this most awful, horrible place. They are taking advantage of people in every way possible. In my view, they are so nasty and shouldn't be in business.
Not honest people. They refuse to provide tap water. Portion sizes are tiny. Service doesn't exist, atrocious waiting. Food doesn't taste nice. I was polite and courteous throughout. They make as if they are doing you are favour. I'm well travelled and have never experienced such and atrocious and disgraceful bunch of people. They lie about Italian law forbidding providing tap water. They are just out to milk you if your miney. Don't believe a word of their response below. Pure nonsense and rubbish. They put on extra charges without prior notice. Disgusting. Bunch of liars and money grabbers!!!!
