Biffi Milano Reviews
I don't understand why such small ratings - as for me, personally for me, this restaurant is the best in terms of cuisine, interior, service, environment in the whole gallery. Everything was clean and very tasty. We were cozy and calm only in this place) Oysters are the freshest, big and very, very tasty. Big greetings to you and see you again) More customers and good people) Thank you for being here!)❤️
The stuff are very fast. The service was good. They are smiling they are friendly. They are kind they are asking if we are like need anything. FOOD are nice. The food is so so so so good Angela delicious I really recommend this place. It’s inside the galleria they don’t have Pizza but they have pasta. They have vegetable we have different Italy testers of food is really good.
Biffi Ristorante is located in the magnificent Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Italy's oldest active shopping gallery. It is a most spectacular place to sit down, relax and watch the passing parade of tourists and locals. The service is spectacular in an old-world kind of way. The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is particularly fashionable and very classy. This is the second time we have bee to Biffi and it won’t be the last. Highly recommended.
Went here after a walk around Milan. Restaurant was in a great location and the service was great, staff were there almost straight away to take empty plates and glasses. The food was delicious. The only complaint would be the price. Ended up being €120 for the meals shown and two cokes. Overall happy with the visit and would recommend.
Ok so I had to eat at a restaurant in the Galleria just to say I did it. Atmosphere beautiful, food average, bottle of wine prices ridiculous, 26 eu for a half bottle! Also, a 10 euro charge for bread, which I did not ask for and table charge. Definitely a tourist trap, you’ve been warned!!!
Biffi is a classic Milanese institution perfectly positioned right in front of the Galleria — an ideal spot for lunch with a view. The location is unbeatable, allowing you to enjoy authentic Italian dishes while soaking in the atmosphere of one of Milan’s most iconic landmarks. The menu leans traditional, and I highly recommend the cotoletta alla milanese and bruschette — both are flavorful, generously portioned, and true to their Italian roots. It’s a great choice if you want to experience a taste of local cuisine in a sophisticated setting. That said, prices are steep. For one cotoletta, a plate of bruschette, two Cokes, and a bottle of water, the total was over €80 — clearly a premium for the location and historical name. Service is attentive, and the setting makes it worth visiting at least once, especially if you’re looking to pair classic food with a prestigious Milanese ambiance.
"Typically, a restaurant parked right in front of a landmark like the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II would raise red flags—chances are, it's a tourist trap with mediocre food and inflated prices. As a traveler, I'm usually on the hunt for hidden gems off the beaten path. But this place surprised me. The outdoor seating was a perfect escape from the blazing Milan summer—shaded and positioned just right for soaking in the stunning architecture of the Galleria. It also offered prime people-watching, which added to the charm. And the best part? The food. That’s what I came for, and it did not disappoint. Flavorful, well-prepared, and surprisingly on par with other solid spots I’ve tried around the city. In the end, I’m glad I trusted my gut and sat down. This one met my expectation."
A huge disappointment! The atmosphere and location is great, and touristy. The service was good, they asked for a tip, so I added one. Let’s talk food, a HUGE disappointment. I can accept a melon and prosciutto for €22, but I just came from Barolo and paid almost half the price. The Ossobuco sauce was heavy and off putting, the saffron risotto was also super heavy, lacked subtlety and would say even tasted chemical (overly perfumed by the saffron). I was charged two cover charges while I was alone. I don’t know why. To pay over $100 for mediocre food is a huge disappointment.
The location is really nice and unique. The service is also professional and friendly. However the food was not meeting the expectation. We have ordered one of the traditional dish of Milano, “ossobuco with sagran risotto”. The dish was just ok, the taste was missing. From a historical restaurant, I was expecting much more.
The location is outstanding ! In the middle ! At that day the wether was so hot and they don't have air conditioning or it was not working at that day The staff was a little rushy which I understand why! We had saffron rise with meat, lasagna and chicken ! The food in general was good but I had better in other places in Milano ! There was a coral playing in the street during the lunch ! The place is good Food is good Little pricey for the quality of food Air conditioning was deal breaker
DO NOT COME HERE FOR BREAKFAST - SCAMMED Our bill was initially €40 and they decided to charge us €65 for 2 portion of eggs and a croissant and could explain to us why we are paying an additional €25.. not including service charge. Great atmosphere and menu for lunch looks much better but personally wouldn’t go back
Terrible experience — not worth the money We had lunch here and were extremely disappointed. The food was overpriced and absolutely tasteless — neither I nor my friend could finish our meals. For the price, we expected at least something decent, but it was truly awful. Service was also far from good: inattentive and disorganized. The location might be central, but that’s the only thing going for this place. Definitely do not recommend.
A beautiful location near the exit to the Duomo, and great for people watching, however the food was marginal. Caprese was served with an unripe tomato. My ossobuco was tough and dry. The risotto milanese was a classic representation and good. Bolognese was good, not worth repeating. Server was very vocal about getting a tip…Felt like a trap for Americans. They also have a 4.50 Euro per person seating charge…So you have to pay for the privilege of then paying for a bad meal…
Food was good, service was fine. But the portions are small. Its cost 4,50 to sit down, 8,50 for a bottle of water and when you ask for dessert menu they just show you the dessert without prices and charge you what they want. And the servicer have no guilt asking for tips at the end. Bil was over the 180 euro and they still asked for you to tip them.
Don’t go here. The food was not good. We ordered the pomodoro and tbe truffle pasta. Very simple dishes, yet the quality was not there. This is italy, where you’d expect fresh pasta to be used, but don’t expect it here. They brought a roll of bread for you to have - part of the cover charge. But the bread was flat and bland and cold. Something I’d expect to get at a supermarket. The cover charge was €4.50 per person. Which is high, but I expected that due to the area of the restaurant. We had a bottle of San Pellagrino which on the bill showed as €8.50 which I find ridiculous for 750ml. Total bill was €60, which was to be expected for the area. Yet I was still disappointed to pay it. The waiter also asked if I wanted to add a tip, which confused me as the cover charge was already there I would say skip the restaurant and instead walk 5 mins to a different place where you’ll be satisfied with the food.
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. One of the staff members was extremely rude and unprofessional. He mocked the way I spoke, even imitating me in a disrespectful and racially insensitive way when I said “Allah Allah”. It felt humiliating. We arrived as two people and explained that three more friends were on their way. The staff told us, quite rudely, that they wouldn’t hold a table for three hours — even though our friends arrived within ten minutes. They separated our table and said they’d join it later, but the whole interaction was unpleasant and unwelcoming. To make matters worse, the food was also below expectations. Overall, a very negative experience. I would not recommend this place.
