Mi pento di non aver letto prima di entrare le recensioni di questo posto, ma per un caffè onestamente non lo faccio mai.Esperienza purtroppo poco piacevole. La vicinanza all'università e al teatro degli Arcimboldi, non basta a compensare l’atteggiamento del personale, in particolare della cassiera, che si è mostrata piuttosto scontrosa e poco professionale. Non solo mi sono sentita trattata con sufficienza, ma ho anche assistito al modo in cui, con arroganza, la cassiera ha rimarcato l’utilizzo del bagno da parte di alcune clienti che avevano consumato al tavolo poco prima. Sebbene io non sia stata direttamente coinvolta, ho trovato questo comportamento estremamente inopportuno e poco rispettoso. Credo che l’educazione e l’attenzione verso i clienti debbano essere una priorità, e qui purtroppo non è stato così.

We popped in just to pass the time before entering the theater. We were wrong not to ask for a price list, and... surprise: €23 for two hot chocolates with whipped cream and a slice of strudel!! At least the hot chocolate was good. Anyway, it's in the Bicocca area, not in the Galleria. Never again!!

We stopped before the show at the Arcimboldi, a place obviously packed because it was in front of the theater and the waiter made us sit hanging next to the door, just to make us sit. It seemed like an act of kindness but it wasn't! We got a large ginseng cup and a marocchino for the modest price of €7.50! At first we asked the waitress for the coffee shop menu and she told us they didn't have one so we didn't know the prices except from a list displayed next to the counter that only listed the large ginseng cup for €2, with no indication of the marocchino. So I stopped the waitress and asked if there was a mistake because the marocchino (which was also very poorly made without a shred of Nutella) couldn't cost €5.50! She quickly and annoyedly replied that the ginseng for table service was €4 and the marocchino was €3.50! Crazy!!!! A €2 surcharge for table service in a down-to-earth establishment, literally handed over by annoyed staff, is absurd! My only regret is that, given the high turnover rate, they'll continue to profit endlessly!

A small piece of strudel costs 6 euros! Considering that the prices aren't displayed in the "pastry shop," I wouldn't recommend it! I asked the waitress for a list to check the price, and she said there wasn't one. I went to the counter and specifically asked for the price of the strudel, and the bartender told me I had to ask at the cashier! I had the distinct feeling that the prices are made up on the spot based on who they have in front of them! Never again.

A hot chocolate and a shortcrust pastry cost 11 euros! I asked if the bill was incorrect, and an arrogant and rude waitress told me: "If you think that's a lot, go to another bar next time." They deserve to close.

We had an aperitif for two: a gin and tonic and a spritz. I told them I was vegan, and for appetizers, they brought slices of pizza bianca, piadina with vegetables, olives, peanuts, and chopped carrots with tomato pieces, literally thrown on a tray without even a bit of oil. This is what customers think: if you're vegan or vegetarian, they cut up raw vegetables and throw them on a tray because that was... the cost of this specialty? 39 euros! Robbery!

My wife and I stopped for an aperitif before going to the theater: we ordered a platter and two spritzes. For the platter, you'd expect cured meats and cheeses. Not even a hint of anything like that, just four measly cubes of focaccia, a mini tub of olives and chips, and two mini sandwiches. Next to it was a glass that, once the ice was removed, must have held a couple of fingers of spritz. All for the sum of 30 euros. Yes, you read that right, 30 euros...and I'll stop here because we were going to the theater to have fun and I didn't feel like getting into an argument that would ruin our evening.

A spartan bar, like so many others. Charging €8 for a toasted sandwich just because you're across the street from the Arcimboldi is a slap in the face. The bill read "2 panini," so I politely asked if there had been a mistake and it wasn't €4. They repeatedly told me the bill was correct, even showing me a menu (which was in a very inconspicuous spot). Of course, as you can see in the photo, there wasn't even a price tag in the window. I spent less in St. Mark's Square in Venice.

I stopped for a coffee before entering the theater. At the counter, I thought (badly) about getting a shortcrust pastry S. The bill came to €4.20. I had to ask twice if it was safe, and the annoyed woman pointed to the pastry (which hadn't been rolled out) and repeated, "€3!" I'll never go back. Around the corner is the focacceria, go there! Fair prices and very kind people!

I would put 0 stars if possible. They basically scam you with the bill. You have to argue with them to get some of the money back, and even then you have a very uncomfortable conversation. Horrible, don’t come!
