Clotilde Brera Milano Reviews
It was a business dinner and the restaurant was extremely accommodating with all our requests during the booking. The evening was a success and we received many compliments from our clients as well.
Great terrace overlooking San Marco, quiet and smart place, relaxing and not touristic, all of this in the heart of Brera! Interesting menu, great wine proposal and service is very smart and warm!
Excellent food and service with a fantastic rooftop atmosphere. The staff were attentive and helpful without being intrusive, which made for a relaxed dining experience. I’ve given the food 4/5 only because the options are somewhat limited for those with food intolerances.
Excellent service, best negroni I've tasted, and some really tasty options. We went for mostly fish-based plates & plenty of desserts. The tuna was perfectly cooked and extremely fresh, and the Ombrina was full of flavour and nicely paired with the accompanying ingredients (topinambur & morels), which added different textures to the dish. The desserts also were pleasant, the nocciola extremely so.
Wonderful restaurant! The staff was super friendly and very nice, location is stunning, especially the terrace - they view is beautiful and it’s lit very beautifully. Great menu selection for all kinds of diets and the food is delicious, high quality. We also got an extra starter and a small dessert selection which were offered by the restaurant. Truly a lovely restaurant and one of my new favorite spots in Milan!

A fabulous intimate restaurant with both inside and outside availability - service was good with great food and good wine selection
The outdoor terrace was fantastic at night and the ambience was lovely. The food was good but I was not wowed by it and especially for the price I was expecting a bit more, especially from the osso buco. Definitely the risotto a la Milanese was the best out of the 3. Service was good but again nothing great.
Quite underwhelming in terms of quality of food. We took, amongst other things, a cotoletta which was not well cooked and full of fat. Service is ok and also the place is welcoming. The point is that…

Nice terrace. We ordered 3 glasses of vine and he later kept adding without asking. We decided that he may understand that we ordered a bottle and were fine with it. But at the end they charged us 6 glasses (even he didn’t finish our bottle) and it was 56 euros. Service charge also ridiculous high. Food is ok but not special. Meat tartar was good. But general Disappointed
Location and decor are worth a 5, however food and service were quite disappointing - hence the low score: we were given the table 30 minutes after our booking time and service was super slow (despite the restaurant being fairly empty on a weekday). Whilst this is not a problem per se, the odd part is that then we were rushed to order desserts etc because the management wanted the table back. Food is alright, but nothing worth going all the way here - there are much better places in town. I am sure this could be easily improved - however for now I wouldn’t recommended visiting

We ordered the 5 course classic menu. We had high expectations of this place because of all the good reviews and very pleased when we were able to make a reservation at 21:45 the same day. However, we already finished our meal after about 1 hour (and this for a 5-course menu with a bottle of wine!). We have never been served our food so quickly after each other. After our tables got cleared we got the next course after 5min max! We did not feel at all that we were allowed to enjoy the evening at our own pace. The food was also not convincing, every bite was very bland, so after a few bites you knew the taste and you actually got a bit tired of it. We were served soft braised beef as a main course, but the fat of the meat wasn’t rendered out at all. We returned the entire last meal because it just wasn’t pleasant to swallow. We ended up paying €200 for an hour of rushed dining.
The waiters act like they don’t see you. There are no lights at the ceiling like at photos. Thousands of mosquitoes. They bring opened fake bottle of acqua panna, as it has different taste. Pasta m…

Terrible service. Food is crap. overpriced. Only plus: nice location. I won’t go anymore. Would not recommend!!!!

We came for lunch and the restaurant was practically empty (first bad sign). We had a terrible experience. The view from the terrace was beautiful but that’s practically it. We had the fried funghi which were not good and 0 fresh. As main I had the fish with zucca (which is supposedly the seasonal dish) and it was average at best. The tiramisu was an insult for an Italian place. Finally, the service from the single server was unprofessional. It’s not a cheap place and at least you expect some courtesy.
Beautiful venue and decent food. But I wish I had read the recent reviews before going there - the service is awful, really rude and entitled. Any request even for a stool for my handbag was met with a rejection. At the end they didn’t want to bring us the bill to the table which is bizarre for a restaurant in the centre of Milan, and told us to ask for the bill and pay at the exit. Not used to it we accidentally left without paying but of course came back next morning to settle the bill. Net net this is definitely not a place worth going to until they realise that a customer service is of utmost importance even if the venue is gorgeous. Eg just look at their rude responses to other people’s bad reviews - it’s almost comical that rather than apologise their unsatisfied customers they mock someone that they wanted to organise dinner with a limited budget. There are different ways to deal with a mismatch of expectations, not like an entitled uneducated person. RESPONSE to Your Feedback: You don’t need to fight your clients, just improve your service and attitude to clients. You have a nice terrace but somehow every review says the service is terrible. For the record, we did forget to pay on the night, which I did not hide. That’s only because it was quite unusual the staff refused to bring us even the bill to the table, not to mention paying at the table, and we had a few glasses of wine. It had nothing to do with staff availability as they were all standing and talking. You just don’t bring the bills to the table which is yet another example of your pathetic service. Rather than get into petty arguments with your clients trying to justify your poor service two months after we visited better use this time to improve your staff training or to find a replacement for your own role as a manager.
If you want to ruin your evening, then this place is perfect. Absolutely rude service, no knowledge of the menu, can say that you made a bad choice of food, complete disregard of comments, no apologies - even after personally writing them a letter of complaint about ruined evening, you will be made guilty and absolutely do not agree with your remarks. In a year of living in Milan, officially the worst establishment.
Not worth it. the veal was good but the service was excruciatingly long and disappointing. Didn’t make any effort to adjust to our request and didn’t show any interest. stopped serving cocktails at the diner table (???) and, for your sake, do NOT take the first pasta on the menu. Out of 6 people, no one was willing to eat it. I’m quite curious as well, why didn’t they take the dozens of glasses away when clearing out the plates? i guess it’s part of their “service”…really not worth it.
