EL&N offer a great aesthetic for Insta photos, however the food quality is rather ordinary. American coffee was weak. Icing on cupcake was a commercial mix, not buttercream as you'd expect for the price. Great for a snack and leave it at that.

The place's decor is very beautiful. I visited three branches in other countries outside Italy, and this is the most beautiful. The employee is very nice. We ordered a ganache cake, which I didn't like. It was dry. I also ordered a cappuccino, which was delicious.

The "booking" is confusing, but overall the tea time at the EL&N was very interesting. They don't serve the afternoon tea in their Italian location, but the floral "aperitivo" for two is honestly amazing and the cakes are good. No time limit, so we had hours to enjoy the very PINK environment. (4.5 if half stars were allowed)

Generally, place is cute and have a lot potential. It was on our whish list for a long time. Place give some barbie doll house aestethic. For Milan prices are normal, we cant complain. If we talk about food, cakes are not tasty. Taste is totally different then “original” taste. Hygiene is extremely bad (it's a real shame for such a nice place), specially washroom. Service can be better for popular place like this. Out of 3 staff members, only girl who work as a waiter was soooo kind even if she doesnt speak english, she try her best and she did. Cashier was so rude when we were ready to pay. She ignored us and we waited around 5min to get her attention. She start yellin why we dont have any smaller money ( we gave 50€ for bill of 19€). Guy who works with them start cleaning area with broom and without any warn he start cleaning under our table and touching us woth broom. He sould just ask to move and we would do that. As i said in the beggining, place have a lot of potential and i hope next time when we come there, it gonna be better.

The ONLY place in the world where you arrive and wait 20min because a family who pretended to wanna order takeaway gets in front of all the other 20 people waiting behind and the waiter gives them priority not even making eye contact with the rest. OPS cafe is just 10min foot away and much more of a better place

Upon our arrival, we were faced with a 20–30 minute waiting time, which in itself would not have been an issue if we had received proper service. However, after being seated, our table was still dirty from the previous guests, and we had to ask the waiter to clean it. The cleaning was superficial, and the table remained dirty. I did not receive a spoon with my coffee, and out of the waters we ordered, two were dirty: the mouths of the bottles had chocolate residue on them, clearly indicating that they had not been properly cleaned. The croissant I ordered was served without any cutlery or a napkin. We were seated at a table by the window, which would not have been a problem on its own; however, cold air was coming in through the window throughout our stay. We asked to move to another table, which initially seemed possible, but it later turned out that the table was actually reserved, as the waiter had provided us with incorrect information. As a result, we would have had to move back to the original table, where it remained cold the entire time. Two dishes we wanted to order were unavailable as they had already sold out. We also ordered a pasta dish that did not come with the cheese listed on the menu, so we requested Parmesan instead. When the pasta was served, the Parmesan was missing, and we had to point this out again. The dishes were not served at the same time but arrived with delays of more than 10 minutes. Moreover, only two of the ordered dishes were brought out, and we did not consume them. Despite raising these issues multiple times, no meaningful changes were made: our table was not cleaned, we were not given clean glasses, and we had to unpack the cutlery ourselves when the waiter brought it. For me, this was completely unacceptable. We raised these concerns repeatedly, and since no improvement was made, we ultimately decided to leave the restaurant without paying.

We were greeted and seated quickly — a good start — and our drinks arrived promptly and efficiently. With fond memories of excellent visits to EL&N in both Rome and London, we were expecting another great evening of delicious food and stylish service. Sadly, that’s where the good news ends. As the night went on, several confused families were turned away, apparently expecting a Halloween party that didn’t exist. Unfortunately, the real horror show turned out to be the food. My chicken club sandwich arrived just about warm — not hot, not cold, just awkwardly undecided. The chicken was strangely dry around the edges, reminiscent of something that had spent a few too many minutes in a microwave. A bold choice for a restaurant, really. Then came the fish and chips for our son. The sauces set the tone — the curry sauce was cold and gloopy, while the mushy peas (the evening’s “special,” apparently) were so watery they could’ve qualified as soup. The chips were dry and oily, managing the impressive feat of being both at once. As for the fish — let’s just say the batter had the unmistakable texture of something reheated and then reheated again for luck. To make matters worse, a barrier was put up well before closing time, which really took away the charm of the “EL&N experience.” It’s hard to enjoy the famous aesthetic when you feel like you’ve been invited to the after-hours clean-up. All in all, what should’ve been another lovely meal turned into a cautionary tale. From the lukewarm chicken to the mushy mushy peas, this visit was less “Instagram-worthy brunch” and more “culinary plot twist.” A real shame, because we know EL&N can do so much better. But the experience did contribute to a long journey back.

A slice of flavourless red velvet cake that was stodgy, a lucky latte with stale cereal on top didn’t feel very lucky at all and sticky tables.

The cakes are not as good as the ones in London. The place is so loud, even the waiting staff couldn't take the orders. The hot beverages are too sweet, it's diabetes in a cup.
