Indrani Milano Reviews
Very good service, everything very tasty, fast, in the end they give you a delicious red wine, I recommend them
Excellent service, delicious food and good quality of food and preparation, 100% recommended
Very good food and staff, in general nice experience
We celebrated Mother's Day at the restaurant. It was quite busy for the occasion. The staff's service was good, although they could improve (because in the confusion they didn't know what we had ordered and it took a while to bring the food, and when we went to the register they didn't have the table's bill). The dishes came with a side of rice, a plantain, and salad; we didn't like the salad (it was too dry). We chose salmon in shrimp sauce, which was delicious—the dish was well-presented and had a good portion of shrimp—and the seafood casserole was also very tasty.
The place is nice, very well presented, clean, and spacious. The service is very good, and the food tastes great. However, I'm giving it 3 stars. The portions are average, neither big nor small. The prices are high, considering the quality of the food, which is what you'd find in a regular restaurant. A tilapia costs 37,000! 😖😖
We went on Mother's Day and they raised the prices of the dishes by an average of 15,000 pesos, which I find disrespectful. I would forgive it if the food was good. 2. We didn't like the taste of the dishes. We ordered seafood casseroles, and they were salty and tasted smoky or burnt. The salmon wasn't very good either (I can't describe the flavor, but it wasn't very tasty compared to other places). I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
Today 04/06/2025 at 5:00 pm I ordered a house octopus, since we saw the dish in several social media posts and wanted to try it, the service took a long time and in the end the disappointment was total, they brought me a plate with four small octopuses, with a lot of coconut rice that I don't like and salad, that is, the house octopus never arrived, after waiting so long I had to try to eat the small octopuses which were overcooked, I couldn't eat them all and even less the rice... anyway, the fact was that when paying I told the waiter at the register that it didn't seem to me that they hadn't been sincere from the beginning and had brought us that dish and I showed him a photo on social media of the dish that I had seen, to which he responded without any kind of apology and without any kindness, that the waiter who had served us was an extra and that he forgot to clarify that there was only baby octopus and that if it had been the same one who had served us If I'd been served, I would have told you so. In the end, I had to pay $73,000 for a dish that wasn't the one I ordered, with small, overcooked octopus. A very bad experience. I don't recommend this restaurant. I felt ripped off paying for something I didn't order, with a dish that wasn't worth the price. I should clarify that the waiter who served us at the table was very friendly.
I expected something better, not to mention that some dishes on the menu don't have prices listed. It's because they're too embarrassed to ask for a price. For example, a fish costs 85,000 pesos and comes with a side of just a plantain that looked like it was from the day before, and some rice. The casserole was nothing like what it cost; it had no flavor, the seafood was tough, and it was made with béchamel sauce, which is basically flour. Without a doubt, the dishes aren't worth those prices.
Very bad experience. We ordered churrasco and more than half of the meat was fat, and the "viudo de capaz" (a type of fish stew) arrived raw from the middle to the tail. The seafood casserole was burnt on the bottom. We were told they would bring us fish confit, but they didn't. We told the waiter the fish was raw and complained about the meat, and he said how strange that was and left.
Several years ago, my family and I went there and the experience was excellent. I don't know what happened or if it changed owners, but today we went to celebrate my mother's birthday and it was terrible. To begin with, the person who served us didn't seem to know the menu. The food didn't arrive as we ordered, and what we were initially told it would include was missing. They overcharged us, claiming that one of the dishes cost more because of the preparation we had requested—something they hadn't explained when we ordered. They didn't want to charge us more than what was on the menu. Finally, we asked to speak to the manager to express our dissatisfaction with the service and the charge, and he was rude and arrogant. Even the kitchen staff ended up shouting unpleasant things because we expressed our disagreement with the way we were being served and what we were being charged. It's sad that the quality of both the service and the food has deteriorated so much. WE WILL NOT RETURN AND WE DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
TERRIBLE!! It was a good restaurant when it was "Galeón de Luna Park," but I had a terrible experience with the new management, "El Galeón de San José." The waiters don't know the dishes, there's no variety, the order arrived wrong, the seasoning is bad, they overcharged me, and worst of all, the manager and the cook were rude when I complained. Not recommended at all. There are better places in the area with better options and prices.
This place used to be one of my favorites, but they lost me as a customer last time. The service was terrible, truly awful. It took over two hours to get our food, the waiters were completely lost, and they couldn't even bring us a drink. They were absolutely overwhelmed even though the place was packed. I don't recommend it.
We're regular customers, but honestly, the quality has really gone downhill. The only thing that was hot was the rice; everything else—the plantains, potatoes, broth—was completely ice cold! The waiter's service was also terrible. It's a shame.
