La Prosciutteria Milano Reviews
This was the place i was looking for and had no ideia. The cured meats are incredible, everything is fresh and well served. Its cozy and the waiters were very helpful too. If you like cured animals and good cheeses, this is the place for you. The selection of wines is also impressive.
Akim - I had a fantastic experience here, largely thanks to the waiter. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, offering excellent recommendations that perfectly suited my tastes. The service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. He was genuinely a super smart and skilled waiter
The best aperitivo in Milano, with top-quality meat and cheese options. The Tuscan board for three is usually enough for four, unless you’re starving. Pair it with a nice wine or their special beer, Ichnusa. We didn’t need a reservation on a Thursday evening, but you might on weekends.
Sandwiches Worth the Hype – A Perfect Milanese Takeaway During a recent trip to Milan, I stopped by La Prosciutteria Brera looking for a quick but quality bite to take away and it absolutely delivered. This spot is bursting with charm and packed with seriously good ingredients. I picked up sandwiches for three of us, and each one was a hit. I think, if I was to go again, I’d happily sit inside or outside this charming little place with a drink in hand. The “Da Nord a Sud” was a standout—herb-roasted prosciutto cotto paired with creamy stracciatella, sautéed friarielli, and roasted potatoes. It was a full-on flavor journey, rich and comforting with just the right balance of freshness and indulgence. The “Modella per un Giorno” felt like Milan in sandwich form: tender roast beef, peppery rocket, generous flakes of aged Grana, and a touch of creamy lizzone with a crack of black pepper. Elegant, bold, and beautifully put together. Everything was neatly wrapped and easy to take on the go, perfect for enjoying in a nearby piazza or park. If you’re in Milan and want a sandwich that’s anything but ordinary, La Prosciutteria Brera is a must. Delicious, generous, and full of personality just like the city itself…. I will be back!
Such a beautiful find, we were just walking and decided to stop for drinks and a light bite before diner . It was just an amazing experience from the moment we got in. The host was very friendly and welcomed us in . the charcuterie board was just delicious . The selection of wine they had was just amazing also. I would go back ... just loved the experience .
Delicious charcuterie with a wide selection of meats and cheeses. Beautifully decorated interior with lovely outside seating. I recommend the gourmet board it was mouth watering with the perfect spread of delicious pickings. They serve large portions for a very good price. Definitely worth it!
It was our first visit and we loved it. Good things come in small packages they say. The space is cozy small, with lots character and busy with passionate customers and staff. We had the gourmet board and wine. The food was generously portioned, well presented and very tasty. A nice selection of wine and cocktails were available too. I can't wait to go back.
We visited here as part of a Do Eat Better food tour and it was a great stop. The platter we got had a great selection of antipasti which allowed us all to try different items. We ended up with more than we could eat so the portion was generous. The food I enjoyed was all really nice. There were some parts I didn't love but with a big range of options that is bound to happen.
Great food in a nice atmosphere. We took a special board for two and two spritz and they were all very delicious. Not very overpriced for Navigli area. I recommend to book before your visit as it's always full. We booked a few hours before. The fruits on the board were delicious and I really liked the honey. Totally worth it
Food is good but the quality of service was a nightmare. 3 tables where people sat after us were dealt with before us. A dish was forgotten and it was mentioned when delivered, they did nothing for it. We had to wait to be finished with other dishes to mention it a second time for the waiter to react. 35 min after ordering the desert nothing had came. When asking the waiter about, he said it was on going. Hard to believe. He was too busy flirting with 2 pretty client girls to deal with our order. And other 10 minutes later, no desert was delivered yet. We had to leave, we had no desert then and had not excuse. Worst restaurant client experience on our side for years. Unless you are a beautiful woman under 30 not with a man, unlikely the waiter will care about you. Would definitely not recommend the place.
I rarely put negative reviews however this time, I disliked my experience at this restaurant. The outdoor seating is dirty, waiters and staff don't have time for you. Whenever you ask them something, they say that they are busy serving someone else. Disorganized. Food is just bland, no savor, no taste nothing. A salad that isn't a salad, bread that should at least be warmed and the cured pork is of a cheap quality. Anyway just avoid this place. Not worth it.
