a unique experience to visit mattheo's restaurant. the restaurant has been in his family's ownership since 1918. the atmosphere is top notch. he helped translate the menu into english. they make their own pasta and it is really successful and tasty. i can't imagine a more hearty restaurant in milan. it is full of locals. if i come to milan again i will visit the restaurant again.

This is a simpler restaurant, so stick with pizzas and straight forward dishes - but if you do that, boy are you in for a treat! All the pizzas we tried were great and so were the deserts. Add friendly service and very reasonable prices and you understand why this place is filled every evening.

Very good food. We had gnocci with zucchini flower and guancalr which was amazing Good prices, 4€ for 1/2liter of wine, 12€ for main pasta dish. Mostly locals eat at this place. Highly recommend.

Si trova in una zona un po’ infelice e non è un posto che attira a prima vista ma se vi fermate scoprirete un’ottima cucina di pesce: impepata di cozze, catalana, spaghetti alle vongole, linguine all’astice, …. uno più buono dell’altro. Buona anche la pizza ma allo stesso livello di tante altre.

Service was not good, we did not feel welcome. My ordered entrecot should have been medium roasted it was raw and cold. Pasta was good. I would not recommend it to others.
