Macha Cafè Milano Reviews
I really love this place! Suitable for a quick meet up with friends. Located in the city centre but not as crowded as the other Macha cafe, nearby a lot of attractions and shop (Garibaldi station, book store, Piazza Gae Aulenti, Corso Como, etc). Accessible with metro station (green and purple line), and tram as well. I went there often! Iced macha latte and macha cheesecake are my favorite :)
It’s a very small but happy restaurant. The people working there were very nice, energetic and helpful. The food was really good for its price and it got served fast.
I’ve been in this place for a lunch break. I ordered a Salmon Poke and it was great! They accept all payment methods, including American Express but at the time of my visit it was not possible pay with Ticket Restaurant. This place usually gets busy during lunch hours, please plan your visit accordingly.
The good bit: Very good poke bowls with a wide variety of choices for both proteins and toppings. The "normal" size for 11 euro will fill you up enough (unless you have a huge appetite). The "could-be-improved" bit: The bowls could have more sauce (maybe ask for extra sauce). Be prepared to wait ~10 minutes for your bowl, even if there is no queue.
The food was good. Unfortunately it was soured by very poor customer service. We came and set down our bags and we tried to explain we were about to come and order but the lady told us no and treated us with very poor attitude—assuming we were using the tables and not planning to make a purchase.
The bubble tea was disappointing the flavor was flat and unbalanced. The matcha tasted artificial, and the overall drink lacked freshness and depth. Even the toppings didn’t help; they felt more like a distraction than a treat. Definitely not something I’d order again.
In the plaza, downstairs part of food court. I honestly only tried iced tea both pink and matcha flavors. The drinks have zero sweet taste! I have no clue why is this! It’s seems like providing nutrition for sick people with high sugars! So technically my drink tastes nothing, except some macha, the additional “pink” flavor was at the bottom of the cup and barely added anything. Prices are ok. And the lady on the cashier was kind and speaks good English. The place is small and has few seats.
I was so happy to find such cool places and had very nice breakfast in another Macha. But this one is very bad :(( You are close to railway station and I thought that I could get my food very fast. I was almost alone in the cafe, only one more table was busy. I ordered just 100% avocado toast and the bowl with salmon and waited for it more then 20 minutes!!! Avocado toast is just a piece of bread with avocado and bowl with salmon is just a plate with already cooked ingredients. How can it be prepared more then 20 minutes?
Horrible watery & extremely hot matcha latte. They have no idea how to make it.
If I could leave a zero, I would. We got there and the lady just said closed. Then we walked back and she admitted they were open. The lady had a huge attitude and the food was not great to say the least. She even said they don't have something when another worker arrived and gave it to us right away. Would not return.
I really wanted to try your bubble tea after my lunch, but I only had a 100 euro bill and my cards are not working in Europe. The cashier told that quote “only for 5 euros” she will not change the bill and said that I can buy poke ( I wasn’t hungry, because I’ve just had lunch, but was really craving the drink). so therefore I left and honestly it affected my mood so much that I’ve decided to leave a review probably for the first time in my life.
Actually I love matcha poke but Matcha poke at this place was horrible! I can’t believe that I couldn’t finish the poke ! Many thing look old and then I tried the nut it was really smelly and sour! Also the service was bad ! The waitress was super mean
