Papavero Milano Reviews
Very delicious and very cheap! Fast cooking and good music!!
They are super friendly and the food is really delicious for a small amount of money. 100% recommended
Great prices... Very clean and welcoming place.... Very friendly staff... Mha The red-haired waitress was very good and attentive to our needs... Very kind owner.... Dishes with a great selection?! I really think we'll be back often and willingly!
I travel a lot for work, and when it's time for dinner, I type "eat" into Google and get inspired! I saw photos of their seafood grill and said, "Let's go." It's certainly not the fanciest place in Milan, but the staff is friendly, the seafood was excellent, and the prices are rock-bottom. I love these little places that turn out to be pleasant surprises!
I happened to be there on a Saturday night and ate a delicious tagliata, but I saw some excellent fish dishes coming out of the kitchen. Only a few days later did I have the opportunity to return to Milan and the same area, so I wanted to try the tagliolini with lobster, scampi, and shrimp. They were excellent and plentiful, all served by two friendly and sweet waitresses named Stefania and Andrea. I'll be back!
Vado spesso in questo ristorante con mia mamma perché si trova vicino a casa sua. L’ambiente e’ carino e i proprietari sempre disponibili. I prezzi sono ottimi così come la scelta dei piatti. Noi ci …
Good value, decent quality
Good restaurant for lunch time during the workday. Complete menu at 8 euro (water and coffee included), second dish only (water and coffee included) at 7 euro. Kind people serving.
Posto in una posizione triste e desolante…proprietario compensa con la sua affabilità, ma arredo minimalista e un po’ deprimente…pizza scadente e piatti del giorno abbondanti ma di scarsa qualità
This restaurant, located in the Barona area, always manages to strike a perfect balance between variety/abundance of dishes and price. From Monday to Friday, the fixed menu is €8 and includes: appetizer, first course, second course, and side dish (coffee is sometimes offered free of charge). Family-run, it's always very busy, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings, given its affordability. The quality isn't exceptional, but, again, given the prices, you can't ask for more. Management needs some rethinking (waiters with little experience).
Now the quality is only getting worse. From the first courses, especially the fish ones, with fish that is sometimes decent and other times inedible. The second courses as long as they are meat are fine, but the fish is not because they use the same grill where they cooked the fish to make the meat and to make the grilled vegetables, without cleaning it unless the customer complains. The pizza is super full of cheese, there are those who like it but as a rule they put a smaller amount and then on request with a supplement they make double the cheese! The water is given in 1.5 liter plastic bottles from the discount store. The desserts are saved
Il peggior ristorante mai visto in vita mia, cameriera che litiga con tutti, clienti cuoco e proprietari, cibo scarso, pizza da fare pietà , birra che sembra acqua. Mai più

One star because I'm a gentleman and I can't give less. The seating was cluttered, the waitress smoked between tables, the portions of food I wouldn't even give to my cat, and thankfully I won't even mention the quality of the food. It's best to bring your own bread, and grate your own parmesan in the kitchen. Not to mention the coffee, which is best left alone. The wait time was well beyond the work break. During the break, it's best to fast.
I strongly advise against it. For someone like me, who travels a lot and tries different restaurants, this is a place to absolutely avoid. I went there with friends for a pizza party, and for pizzas ordered at 7:30 PM, we received the last pizza at 9:00 PM. Basically, we each ate separately. Furthermore, they left out some ingredients because they ran out (ham, mushrooms), so takeout orders were given priority. I pay for service, but I get served later. These people really don't know how to work. I strongly advise against it.
Only one star because it's IMPOSSIBLE for a group of 13 people to have to eat pizza within 30 minutes of each other... Let me explain: they brought the first 5 pizzas, and after 30 minutes they brought the rest, but they didn't have the ingredients because they said they were out of mushrooms and cooked ham... During this interminable wait, they didn't even offer a focaccia to those who hadn't received their pizza yet. I don't recommend this place. The pizza is average, thin, and well-cooked... all in all, good... but the service is appalling.
Good morning. We're a group of 10. We go to places where they offer set menus and there's music. I've heard about this place, but seeing the reviews, I'm worried I'll make a bad impression on my friends. What bothers us is eating with loud music and not being able to talk. We go out to chat with friends and then dance. The owner seems like a nice guy, despite the bad reviews; he's always been polite. I'd like to come and see what the place is like, but I'd like to know from the owner if it's okay to eat with the music quietly, or if it's always so loud that it's impossible to talk. I don't want to make a bad impression on my group. Thanks, I'm waiting for your reply.
