Pigato Milano Reviews
I came to this bar maybe 10 something times over the past years. It is always my go to in navigli good aperitivo, great staff always super positive, also good cocktails and sandwiches.
Had beers and Aperrols which came with a board of olives, tortillas and other crunchy good. Ordered the potatoes which are delicious.
Pigato was amazing to go to for lunch, their menu is carefully crafted to pair selections of sandwiches to a selection of cocktails for a unique flavour experience. The first time we went we had the Bloody Mary + Shirley Temple sandwicj, and then the Don Enrique + Stangata Sandwich. These pairings were so amazing that we had to come back a second time in which we took the pulled pork & Dubai sandwiches (no drinks this time). I especially loved the Dubai which with its mellow curry flavour really hit the spot. I highly recommend this restaurant, the decor is wonderful, the staff are upbeat and friendly, and a major plus is that the music playing makes you feel like you're in New York during the height of the 90s (especially love that they play Dead Prez - props)
+ welcoming and friendly, relaxed dudes (waiters) 🤘 + non stop alternative rock music playing in the background + prices are perfect! + they offer you free nuts, veggies, chips and spiced corn as a snack! + try their cocktails, they sound fancy, look amazing and taste good (could be more Vol.-% though) + try their house hummus, it's not so full of garlic so you are free to kiss anyone afterwards as well + it's perfect to watch people partying in Navigli - missing fan outside, it can get quite warm - it's quite narrow, a lot of people stuffed on a small space
We had a few cocktails there, each one was very good. We were served a little bit of food with the first round (olives, sausage and potatoes,...). Waiters were nice, available and spoke English. The bar is perfectly located along the Navigli and the terrace is really nice, although I don’t know if it’s opened all year long (we were there in September).
Good spot along the main canal in Navigli. It’s a bit further down from the beginning of the canal so seems slightly less busy and less touristy. Good drink selection and waiters are quick and on top of everything. They even bring you a complimentary snack board.
Went to this place to get a cheer up snack. Ordered the nachos and guacamole. It was the most horrible guacamole i have ever eaten. First of all it had olive oil in it. Like who puts olive oil in guacamole, sickos? And it was terribly seasoned. I thought the nachos looked like the wraps u buy at the supermarket, cut and cooked in the oven. But I was gonna let that slide until I saw there were actual nachos being served. Now i just feel robbed and frustrated. Oh and the fries were completely cold. Would not recommend this place.
