Just stopped by, from the NW, while visiting relatives. Delicious meatballs, clean inside, and friendly service. Stop in and you'll see!

I got an Italian to-go for picnicking in Muir Woods, and I was not disappointed! The sammich was a perfect lunch to enjoy under the trees in the parking area where food is allowed, and this place was right on the way. If you're looking for a hoagie like you get in Philly, this place will give you a taste of home.

A great selection of subs done right. My first time there I had the special and it was yummy. It lives up to its name. Reminiscent of the east coast shore offerings.

Imagine Subway, but with good bread and real meat. Great sandwichs. Tuna sub is awesome. People were super nice. A couple of small outdoor tables to sit at. Try to come when Tam is not at lunch as it can get busy then.

This is our favorite sandwich shop in Mill Valley and frankly one of our favorite sandwich shops we’ve encountered even while living in SF for nearly 10 years. Sandwiches are a dime a dozen but the best sandwiches have the right bread, right amount of moisture vs dryness, high quality deli meat, and that certain set of ingredients that you’re not quite sure why it’s so much better than other sandwiches with the same ingredients. That is ABSOLUTELY Antone’s East Coast Sub Shop!! My husband and I go almost every weekend, it’s such a treat for us. I’m actually getting hungry for it as I write this review 😅 Also, the owners are the sweetest people ever who clearly love their shop and the community. I was running late to their shop before closing hours and they sweetly left my sandwich out front for me with my name on it bc they knew I was going to arrive after they closed up shop. I also saw a bunch of cars try to get a sandwich but were too late after hours, so clearly this is a local favorite!

My first time going I got the special it was wonderful! I mean for the price this is worth it they give you more than what you pay for I mean comparing them to the rest of California a sub a bag of chips and soda would normally run $20 in San Francisco but here all that is $12 ! For the people that’s leaving bad reviews on this place I mean you can’t please everybody! But I’m firm down south and this is a decent place for low budget hungry at the moment people!

Delicious sandwiches are served here! Pastrami, tuna, turkey, and roast beef; all were so yummy! I think the secret is in their white onions. Staff is quick and friendly too!

I enjoyed the roast beef sandwich, the staff was nice. Nice little spot to sit and watch traffic while eating.

The sandwiches are good, but the hours that are posted online and on their phone answering machine are wrong. They never seem to be open until 6pm, and on multiple occasions I have checked the hours, called to verify and showed up to find they are closed. Not sure why they aren't open later, seems like a great option to get sandwiches for dinner instead of going to Grilly's or one of the other Mill Valley options.

Ok tasting, kinda light on the meat, but way to expensive, $13 for a 6" itialian sub? Geez....I'm still hungry after eating it. Online menu says $9. If your going to charge those premium prices, give your place a face-lift so it doesn't look like a dive...looks really dirty and best to inside. I expected $9-10... max. First and last time

It's a walk up window where you order between their very limited choices. A little weird but no one was at the window so I eventually left. They were open, the window was open, but no one was around so I left without trying a sandwich. Might be good.

I’ve tried going to this place a few times and every time I go I can’t get food once they were out of bread.. yes bread… at a sandwich shop..? the next time the number to call said the mailbox was full.. so it just hung up on me.. I wanted to give this place a try since I live right next to it but I guess I can t..

Cold meatballs dont work , 7 people and you said it was a shift change and it was delayed. Sounds like you forgot and handed me a cold sandwich. Cheese was not melted and the meatballs tasted good so it was frustrating :) reheated when i got home that night. Everyone was nice but obviously not paying attention

I've found hair in my food several times and same with my friend. It's near my school, so I go there often. Decent sandwiches, but terrible sanitary standards.

Don't waste your time!!! I've been to this place 4 times and been able to get a meatball sub once. Never going back!! That one time it was pretty good, but being out of product that often is pretty bad. Other buddies of mine have had the same experience of not being able to get sandwich they wanted. I guess that's the difference between a (real) sub shop back home on the east coast versus a shop in california - the full menu is rarely available out here.
