Just dined here for the first time and…A top 5 Italian place for me. Broccolini Pizza was magnificent, crust super crispy and flavors were great. Pasta is house made and tastes like it. Garlic bread from rising sourdough. This place is first class with reasonable pricing. We’ll be back

Restaurant with gorgeous ambiance, tasty meals and great service. The dining area is a big room with high ceiling, room filled with with happy conversations. We ordered Insalata Di Pera, delicious Garlic Bread, Zuppa Di Pesce with clams, shrimp, calamari, salmon in a tomato broth stew and angel hair pasta. Everything was excellent and delicious.

Beautiful spot with flavorful bites, amazing pizza, decent wine list and friendly service. We even moved to the bar after our meal for wonderfully made espresso martinis!

06/22/93 - update - this places still got it, so good. I absolutely loved this place. Best Italian I've had yet around the north bay. Everything ordered was delicious. The only draw back is they don't give free bread. Two pizzas and the Creme Brule were also ordered, but no pictures were taken of that.

This place very exceptionally delicious. Every item we ordered was amazing! I would highly recommend stopping by Piazza D'Angelo. The staff was warm, inviting and always there at the right times. We tried the pizza Capricciosa, it was cooked just right, crispy, thin, but not too thin. The beet salad was perfectly balanced, very healthy, very refreshing! I could go on but an excellent experience awaits you.

Piazza D’Angelo in Mill Valley offers a delightful dining experience with great food and warm service. The Margherita pizza was perfectly balanced, the focaccia bread with pesto dip was fresh and flavorful, and the broccolini pizza was a unique treat. A cozy spot for authentic Italian fare. Highly recommend!

Been going here for their house made pasta on just about every special occasion since I was a kid, for nearly 20 years! Always delightful, and love when they have creative summer salads and unique cocktails.

Fantastic classic Cal-Italian restaurant. Warm staff, kitchen phenomenal and the whole experience makes me want to be a regular. I sat at the bar, several diners around me clearly were regulars (solo and couples) and the bartender knew them all. Price is very reasonable for downtown Mill Valley, and excellent for the portion size.

First time visit. Stopped in for a nice meal for our 30th anniversary while on out trip. The atmosphere, food and service was a delight. We had Burrata for an appetizer (crazy good), then had Focaccia bread. We had tortellini and chicken piccata for our mains. Great tasting food and service. The server felt like an authentic Italian, his accent was straight outta Calabria.

The soup of the day with the butterbeans was so good, I didn't get a picture of it. It was gone, that fast. Everything we ate was wonderful. Highly recommend, I would absolutely return here.

A heartfelt thank you to Luigi and his entire team for coordinating such an extraordinary event at the Acqua Hotel for our daughter’s wedding rehearsal! The menu was absolute perfection—every dish was beautifully balanced, with portions and flavors that felt both rich and light. We are especially grateful for your flexibility in accommodating last-minute changes with additional guests, menu items, and drinks. Everything was handled seamlessly and with such professionalism. We look forward to returning to dine in and will be reaching out when it comes time to plan our anniversary or announcement celebration. We couldn’t recommend Piazza D’Angelo more highly—their outstanding service and exquisite menu truly set the standard for hospitality!

Love this place! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating; I was recently here with a family member who is in a wheelchair and the staff made sure we were able to get to our table without obstructions. Little things like that really mean a lot. Make sure you save room for desert when you come here-- it's so good!

Enjoyed my time here. The ambiance is nice. They have outdoor seating with heaters which is a great option. Service was super friendly and we were seated right away even though it looked busy. The food is mediocre except for the pizza. If the pizza wasn’t good, this would’ve been a 3 star review. These guys make a great pizza, in fact I think we had 2 of them. All the pasta dishes lack any kind of rich flavor but instead are just extremely salty. I had the Spaghetti Bolognese and the meat sauce was just overpowered by salt. Appetizers were as expected, Calamari was good but overall the pasta dishes were disappointing. Just get the pizza.

Food is good, but a bit overpriced for the portions and quality. Servers are incredibly busy and will forget an order occasionally but always apologetic. Risotto was not al dente, butternut squash ravioli was undersalted. Might have just been an issue with the specials that night, as we’ve also had great dishes here (ossobuco).

Delicious Italian food, I would not say 100% authentic but still very good … they have been here since 1981 for a reason …

My favorite dessert it’s their dark chocolate mousse, sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet. The food it’s good, try the gamberi inferno (delicious), the drinks sometimes are too strong. Prices on the average of the other restaurants of the area.

Food was ok! The crust was mediocre — nothing memorable in texture or flavor. The sauce matched the crust: equally mediocre, lacking depth or freshness. Overall, a pretty forgettable slice.

Large family dinner celebration for my mom, who used to come here for her little snack with my bro while I was at ballet lessons back in the day. Bad service, but even worse was the food, the drafty doorway, not cleaning up, scrunched in booth. My husband porchetta was disgusting, my sons pasta was almost inedible and my mother hated her fish. My chicken piccata was good, but cold mashed potatoes. I was embarrassed I suggested this restaurant. My poor father had to food a large bill for a subpar meal.
