Kusan Bazaar Milpitas Reviews
Great value and beautiful presentation — one of the best Uyghur restaurants I’ve tried in the Bay Area. I ordered the combo meals (~$20), which come with Uyghur salad, quail egg, and unsweetened yogurt sauce. Portions were generous and everything was flavorful. Lobster are so good as well! The restaurant has a clean, modern interior with an open kitchen. Service was fast, and dishes came out quickly. Great spot for casual dinners, date nights, or small group gatherings. Excellent quality and value for the price — will definitely come back.
Beautiful modern ambiance to enjoy halal food- each item tasted so fresh the handmade aspect is what shines here. We can see them making noodles n the kitchen- the lamien has a great QQ. Our party of four gobbled up every speck of food. In particular if you like lamb this place is a must -try. Sauces & yogurt drinks were also great. Service was really responsive & good too . Will be back!
Tasty Uyghur cuisine served at this charming restaurant in Milpitas. Clean, bright, and airy interior, all the food we tried was well-seasoned. Beef noodle soup was a perfect ratio of noodles to broth, and the beef was soft and flavorful. Kebabs were decent portions, and the homemade yogurt hit the spot. Fast and efficient service. Large free parking lot.
This is an unique crossover kind of cuisiné of Chinese and Mediterranean. Something different to try! The 6-hours braised lambshank is very tender and juicy. Meat naturally fell off the bone once you put your knife in it. The ground lamb stuffed pastries is one of a kind, a must try appetizer. Their customers service is great and perfect! We have spent our evening there for 3 hours. During this time, we had been treated and greeted with great services and smiles. It's hard to find these days. The only thing I would like for them to add onto their menu is more vegetarian dishes.
Kusan Bazaar is a must-visit in Mountain View, especially if you appreciate the deep, aromatic roots of Silk Road cuisine. It offers a fascinating evolution of familiar Persian flavors, trading delicate saffron for bold cumin and the hand-pulled precision of their Laghman noodles. The Lamb Polo feels like a rustic, comforting cousin to traditional rice dishes, while the Lamb Kebabs provide a smoky intensity that is hard to beat. It is a bustling, authentic spot where the Big Plate Chicken and fresh Nan are perfect for sharing with a group. For anyone who finds beauty in the historical and cultural intersection of the region, this is a high-quality, soulful dining experience.
They have great lamb cusines. Also recommend the chilli Chicken, the cold dish is also good. My girlfriend loves their milk tea and yogurt.
Really really good. The meat is overall very tender and yummy. Everything does have a slightly spicy taste, but I quite enjoy that. All the food is very flavorful-I highly recommend the lamb wrap. The yogurt drinks are also so good and not too sweet. Great stop for a yummy meal.
Amazing food and great service! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. The atmosphere is modern and clean, and the staff were super friendly. Definitely one of the best halal restaurants in the area — highly recommend!
Awesome Uyghur restaurant! we are very happy with our experience at Kusan Bazaa. Recommend all the laghman dishes (we ordered regular and lamb cumin chaomian) both very delicious. Samsa is also good - juicy and tasty.
The Golden Crispy Roasted Lamb rib was so delicious, soft, and tender! We also really enjoyed the Big Plate Chicken! Highly recommended if you visit. The food was also served fast!
Halal and clean atmosphere. I ordered the Handcrafted Dumplings - Beef infused with celery and they were amazing. I also ordered the Samsa and they were freshly made and tasty. Will definitely return back to try more items on the menu.
The halal food here is so good, I like the original flavor of the food. Will come back definitely
Kusan Bazaar serves authentic, flavorful food that’s not greasy at all. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable
It’s my first time having halal food and I absolutely loved it here! All meat cooked just right, the freshly made noddles were on point too! Nice and clean set up. Would def recommend a friend’s and family gathering.
The Wellington-style roasted lamb is outstanding, and the braised beef is incredibly flavorful, served with perfectly seasoned rice mixed with raisins. The photos were taken halfway through the meal — we just couldn’t wait to dig in!

My Top.1 recommendation is the Sliced Beef with sauce, and Big Plate Chicken just like the name🤣Sooooo big for us two grils, Besides, Lamb Kenab is spicy 🌶️ but we can have a try, it’s good Btw, the Good environment with nice BGM 🎶
Came here for the first time. Food was absolutely delicious! If you enjoy lamb, this place is for you. They have plenty of options for main courses and side dishes. Gluten-Free Menu available.
The clear lamb soup was rich and comforting, full of fresh herbs and tender meat. The baked buns sprinkled with sesame seeds had a crisp golden crust and a savory filling inside—perfect to pair with the soup.

Kusan Bazaar is located in Milpitas Square, an area with plenty of restaurant competition. The venue was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We tried the Samsa (2 pieces), Stewed Mutton Soup, Homemade Amine Yogurt with Almond and Honey, Homemade Amine Yogurt, and the Wellington-style Roasted Lamb Shank — all were quite good. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the lamb and mutton were exceptionally tender. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely return in the future.
Won't come again because food was mediocre and portion was small for the price. Yogurt was my favorite. Tomato soup with wonton is not bad. Salad was salty. Crispy lamb has a surprisingly small portion: only 4 pieces for 25 dollars, and the taste was mediocre.
I thought the food was quite good, especially since I don’t have Uyghur/Xinjiang cuisine that often. The lamb was well-seasoned and juicy, chicken was also perfectly cooked! Noodles were also chewy and scrumptious. Sauces were a touch bit oily though. Great service and clean space!
It was good, but the other location is better and I'm not sure if I'd come back to this one, also because I'm not sure if this type of Chinese food is for me. It's a good option if you're halal or used to this kind of food, though! The service is a little slow, but the restaurant is pretty and has enough seating. The food is very light and fresh with chillies that are more fragrant than spicy. The pilaf is sweet with apricots and raisins and the noodles are proper chewy, but the beef was kind of lacking to me.

I ordered the lamb noodle. Lamb had such a strong unpleasant odor. They were flexible enough to change to beef. Noodles were nice and chewy however.
Have no idea how this restaurant has such a high rating. Samsas is served cold! After telling the staff she said to replace two new ones but turned out to give me the same bitten ones and said it was reheated, but it was still not hot at all. Quail eggs in the pilaf are also cold! Intolerable and will never trust ratings!
