La Chatita Mineral del Monte Reviews
Muy buena atención, la comida estuvo muy rica, puedes pedir agua fresca o refresco y los precios accesibles.
Comida típica del pueblo rial del monte. Rica y a buen precio.
Excelente lugar
I recommend coming for breakfast and lunch; it's homemade, very filling, and reasonably priced. Of course, cooking methods vary from place to place, but the place is clean and centrally located.
The staff were very friendly and attentive ☺️ The enmoladas were delicious 😋 Liam's service was perfect, excellent 👌🏻 Their five stars are well deserved 💫 We'll be back, of course we'll be back!!
The La Chatita restaurant is divided into two: the downstairs restaurant and the entrance to the upstairs restaurant is around the corner. Food is $75, offering rice, broth, or dry soup. I recommend the broth; it's exquisite. They also offer stews, green mole, red mole, enchiladas mineras, grilled chicken, among others.
Comida rica
It's a shame about the great location; I definitely don't recommend it. The food is terrible in every way: tasteless, bland, with poor-quality ingredients, etc. :(
I had the opportunity to be upstairs. The establishment has a simple but nice view. I ordered something simple (grilled chicken breast) and honestly, it was awful. The food had no flavor, nor did the side of beans. The flavored water was processed (from a packet). I had a bad experience at this establishment. I hope this was the only bad dish of the day. Good luck.
Terrible choice. Seriously, if you're hesitating about going, DON'T. The food was bland, completely tasteless, with no salt, no garlic, and it was either cold or the enchiladas had hard tortillas. Plus, my grandmother found a rubber band in her broth, and they just laughed and said it "came from the tortilla chips" without offering to replace the dish or even apologize. We won't be back, and I DO NOT recommend it. Look for another option.
I had the chance to be upstairs, and I really didn't like the food at all. They offer it as a set meal, but it doesn't even include water. You're better off going to the cafes and pasty shops!
A bad place. The food is tasteless, tough, and the rice was old. I don't recommend it. A very bad experience. Don't go upstairs; the food is substandard.
This place is disgusting, dirty, and unpleasant. The food is garbage; it's not fresh, it's leftover food from days ago. The rice is reheated, greasy, and super hard. All the food is garbage and expensive. They can't even make something as simple as coffee. If you want to save yourself a trip to the doctor, don't eat there.
I don't recommend it. The food is bland, watery, and flavorless. The rice is raw, greasy, and salty. The meat is grimy and tough. The bathrooms are dirty and tasteless. It was the worst meal I've ever had in a restaurant. 🤢 Save yourself the bad experience and go somewhere else.
Terrible, absolutely awful. I ordered "enchiladas mineras," and they were nothing like enchiladas mineras—just soggy tortillas. I couldn't finish the plate because it tasted so disgusting. The place was filthy, and the bathrooms were just as bad. Seriously, don't go.
It's horrible! Don't even try it, the mole seems like it was liquefied with water, everything is tasteless, the enchiladas taste like chili with water, the tortillas are not fresh, everything tastes like it was reheated from previous days, the coffee tastes like cinnamon tea, not coffee, the michelada tastes like bottled lemon, diluted with water of course, the rice was undercooked, very greasy, salty and hard, don't waste your money, the only good thing was the guava Boing :/
THE WORST Seriously, there's nothing good about it. The rice was completely raw and greasy, the coffee was watery, the green enchiladas were like tortillas soaked in water—they probably didn't even add tomato—and the place wasn't very welcoming. The only redeeming quality was the service from the young man, who was quite good. There are definitely much better places.
DON'T GO. The food is terrible, watery, bland, the rice is oily and hard, I ordered green mole and it was super watery and tasteless… the place is filthy. The waiter was friendly, but that was the only redeeming quality. A truly awful experience
For me, it was the worst experience I've ever had at that place. The meat was raw, and the enchiladas were covered in sauce, but it was more water than anything else. It wasn't spicy at all; it was very bland, with more water than sauce. The rice was hard and dry. The waiters were very nice, but the rest was truly awful. I really don't recommend it. All the tourists who go there never come back. There should be a penalty for terrible food. I give it a zero; even the water doesn't taste good there. Thanks.
