La Corrala Miranda de Ebro Reviews
Sitio muy recomendable, para repetir. Íbamos sin conocerlo y acertamos de pleno. Local amplio y moderno.
IG: @helenbucksb I had dinner here and I was very satisfied. It's one of those places you can't go wrong with if you're looking for something tasty, plentiful, and reasonably priced. What I liked most: * Sandwiches and Quality: The bread was perfect, crispy, and the filling was generous (the ham one with just the right touch of oil was delicious). * Value for Money: Looking at the menu, you realize it's very honest. They have super complete combination plates starting at €10.80 and a variety of sandwiches that make it hard to choose. * Atmosphere: The place has that old-fashioned feel, very authentic and welcoming, perfect for a casual, uncomplicated meal. In short: The food is good, the service is fast, and the staff is very friendly. If you're in Miranda and want a surefire place for a good sandwich or pizza, stop by. I'll definitely be back! What people are saying "behind the scenes" about La Corrala: * The secret to the bread: Many don't know this, but the secret to their sandwiches' success is that the bread is baked in a way that keeps it warm without getting soggy—perfect for takeout. * "Do they have options for everyone?" Yes, their menu features vegan options (nuggets, sausages, Heura burgers) and a wide variety of "half and half" pizzas for €15. * The combination plates are famous in the local scene for their generous portions. "El Riojano" or "El Ministro" are the most popular with those who come ravenous after a long day at work. * If you're in a group, it's best to order several dishes (their potatoes with four sauces are a must-try) and share a family-size pizza; it's the most economical and varied way to sample everything.
Very spacious and clean place, modernized at some point. I particularly prefer the old-fashioned... Everything we tried was delicious. Excellent decaf latte. Various payment methods. With a ball pit (a play area for children). The locals were watching a soccer game, but I don't like screens. Reasonable prices.
We were here for one night and everywhere was closed till 8. Which, being English with tea time being at 6 we found this very nice and friendly place. Pizza, hot dog and chips were great and very inexpensive
Lovely restaurant, the owners are very friendly and warm. I lived above this restaurant seven years ago, and they were always so welcoming, which makes all the difference when you are a young girl far removed from home. The Pizzas are amazing and the sandwiches too, though you could easily keep half of the sandwich for you lunch the next day as they are massive! Highly recommended restaurant.
100% montaditos style: you order your food without any notes, so if there are a lot of you, bring a pen. When they tell you, you can pick up the food and set the table yourself. But it's a great option for a quick bite if you're in a hurry. It's not a bad review, mind you.
Sandwich shop/fast food restaurant where you can find all kinds of food, both for takeout and for eating in. Pizzas, salads, sandwiches, portions, and hamburgers are their main dishes. Service is quick and friendly. The place is very large and kid-friendly, with televisions everywhere (football was on when we went). The prices are quite affordable.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
This was great. Very helpful, prompt service. Good, regular food. Nice atmosphere. Had salad, pasta, fried chicken. Nice, friendly people.
We ate at La Corrala yesterday with several friends and our children, about nine kids in total, and the experience was truly awful. The children's menu costs €12.50, and frankly, it's not worth the price at all: a tiny plate of boiled spaghetti with store-bought tomato sauce, a drinkable yogurt from Mercadona, and a small bottle of water. The children left very hungry, something that should never happen with a children's menu at that price. The adults didn't fare any better. We ordered cachopos (breaded and fried meat cutlets) and they were the size of a steak sandwich, nothing like what you expect when you order a cachopo. The bread is extra, which wouldn't be a problem if the portions were at least generous, but they weren't. Between two children's menus and one adult dish, it came to almost €50 in total, a figure that stings when the quality is so poor. I understand that part of the price might include "free" entry to the Chiquipark for two hours, but honestly, I'd prefer to pay for the Chiquipark and get decent food, because as it is now, the value for money is terrible. The service didn't impress us either: lots of complaints, disorganization, and unclear rules. Overall, it felt chaotic. Furthermore, the dining area next to the Chiquipark is very small; I'd say it's only big enough for about 20 people at most. There were 15 of us, and there was practically no room for anyone else. In short, I wouldn't recommend this place: meager and poor-quality food, high prices, disorganization, and very limited space. It's a shame, because the idea behind the Chiquipark is good, but the overall experience left much to be desired.
If you're looking for cold, tough, and flavorless food, this is your place. The burger was like a brick and arrived late, as if it had walked all the way from another country. And the side dish... surprise! Grasshoppers and cockroaches included, a real "premium extra" from the house. An unforgettable experience... but for how horrible it is. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy.
You have to trust the one-star reviews and not the rest. The food is meager, EVERYTHING is frozen and pre-cooked, the salads are inedible, you have to serve yourself, and on top of that, it takes forever. We ordered some calamari that came in a pack of six and was all breaded. Like I said, the 3.9 rating doesn't reflect the disgusting slop they serve disguised as food on the menu. Mercadona is right next door and everything there is much tastier, which, by the way, is where we're going to try to get something to eat.
