As a critique. I've came here since I've been to other Ihop's. Let me just explain. I entered, was greeted by a gentleman, then sent to my table. I asked for a Soft Beverage and to my surprise the beverage tasted flat and bitter. I asked for another one, received it and it too, tasted bitter. Neither the less I will not complain. The food was at my table in a few minutes. It was a burger, which it was good. The egg on the other hand seemed to be cold as if it was sitting for quite some time before being sent to me. During the entire period of me consuming my meal, I was passed multiple times with an empty cup on my side, not once was I asked for a refill, it seemed some of workers were just not so enthusiastic about being there, I do appreciate the one gentleman who changed the creamer container. In my personal opinion the food was okay, but it just seems the atmosphere wasn't as I was expecting, but I may consider returning in the future and maybe updating this review. Cheers.

They use to be really friendly and treated everyone equally , but they have a couple of new waitress' and me and my husband took our four kids for breakfast... Well let me just say that she came to us twice but Everytime someone who looked like they had a lot of money called her she jumped, but even we called her to let her know our order was wrong she just ignored us, thankfully there was a waitress we knew, she helped us. I TIPPED so low. I was just done with that disrespectful women. I don't care if you got more money then me but at least treat everyone equally.

Pancake was undercooked and rubbery. Yuk. Of all things to fail on, the pancake. At IHOP. They also failed to offer the syrup varieties. Didn't matter so much with the inedible pancake. Bacon, on the other hand was overcooked. Obviously had been in the warming tray for some time. Dry, brittle and crumbly. Coffee was pretty good.

The food was okay. We went there because Danny's next door stopped accepting debit cards somehow. The item which was supposedly steak, didn't have much steak on it. The service was fine. The dining room is overcrowded and small. Too much chairs for the space that they have. At One point the waitress was moving the hot food over the baby, which is unsafe. She apologized but if accident happened, the apologies wouldn't matter. The dining area is small and too much tables that they can't avoid moving food from over your or children's head. I felt I was eating in a small basement. I wouldn't go there unless they give each diner enough space to eat.

1/15/2026: One of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in recent memory. Pancakes came out warm-ish. Not warm enough to melt the butter. After waiting 16 minutes, the waitress finally asked if everything was okay. By then the pancakes are flat out cold. I asked if I could have them warmed up or fresh pancakes and she actually sneered at me. The manager talked with two men at one table for more than 15 minutes, not exaggerating. Maybe she knew them, which is fine but please do not neglect other customers. French toast strawberry banana combo is definitely not like the one in the menu picture. Check out my pics. My wife said the hot chocolate was good.

It was the first time and the last time my boyfriend and I will be going there and we will not take her kids now. I'm a very big IHOP lover and I've been craving IHOP for a good minute especially since I am pregnant. My boyfriend decided to surprise me on a little date going to breakfast. He took me to IHOP because I have been wanting to go to IHOP. This one is literally down the street from our house so it's very convenient. We get there we got seated very quickly which was nice. The server came, he was very quick and took our orders. But when we got our drinks, my soda was very flat and his orange juice Left a very nasty aftertaste which he's never experienced with orange juice before. Our food came out pretty quickly too which was surprising because they were busy. My boyfriend's eggs were not cooked how he wanted them and the yolk was already popped and all over his plate. He only ate his eggs and did not eat his French toast at all. His French toast was not warm. My country fried steak was good but definitely could have been warmer. My eggs on the other hand were not fully cooked. We asked to get boxes so we can go. We received the boxes but no check. My boyfriend had to go up to the counter and ask if we can get our check. The hostess told our waiter we wanted our check and she physically pointed to our table. So instead of giving us our check, he gave checks to three other tables. Mind you, the tables were right next to us. Then we had to ask him again for our check. No one told us also that we had to wait for our waiter to check us out. So when we went to the hostess to check out she said we had to do with the waiter. Our waiter finally comes up and hands us the tablet to pay and he set the tip to the highest possible payment amount to pay him. We gave him no tip. You could tell we were very frustrated and we were probably there about than 30 minutes the entire time. It just seemed like some of staff was more interested in talking and hang out with each other than doing their jobs and our food definitely could have been better. My stomach is hurting right now because I cannot eat undercooked eggs (I didn't realize they're undercooked until it took a few bites into it and after that I left it be as you can see fluid coming from the eggs) We will not go back and we will find a different IHOP to go to in our area.

Went in for dinner not a single person was eating girl was on social media or something. She wrote my order on her hand when I wanted to pay for it with a credit card she said oh I have to switch it over to a iPad or something little computer I think she’s stealing. Food was terrible asked for crispy hashbrowns they were raw as for medium rare steak. It was well done, won’t be back.

Came to the Orangeburg location this morning with 3 of my kids that’s under age 10. Soon as we sat down we ordered. I did not notice service was taking long until my daughters started to get anxious and complain about being really hungry. So I looked around and saw families that came after us getting their food first and even left while we still didn’t get our food. When we got our food it was cold and looked like it’s been sitting there. The manager walked by and took my Sampler plate and asked if I wanted a new one but by this time it’s been almost a hour of waiting food food so I told her to take it out of the bill. My kids meals were cold but they ate it anyways because they were starving. The fruits were brown and nasty. Never will go back. This location should be ashamed of themselves worst service ever!!!!!!!!

Haven't been there in a while, so the wife and I thought we would have breakfast here. I know it's almost July, but the A/C was so cold it was very uncomfortable, prices were horrible especially for any type of added side (usual of course, but seemed higher than they should be) when our food came it was cold (not cooled a little, but Cold) the pancakes wouldn't melt the butter even a little! Very disappointed that the only thing hot was the coffee, hot but not hot enough. And I had to find an employee for a code to the bathroom door, like a roadside gas station! Oh, the prices for each "combo" were high also, when did the price for chicken fried steak and eggs start pushing 20 dollars?? I'm over 65 and my wife is over 70 (I never push for senior discounts, I don't feel like a senior citizen LOL), but it is nice sometimes and appreciated, especially when breakfast for two seniors runs you $50! Not complaining about the employees (they were okay) just not happy about this experience.
