We went with our children and another family for lunch at the Caffé della Mostra, so called because upstairs, by reservation, you can visit the exhibition of vintage Vasesian objects and utensils. Unfortunately, on the day of our lunch, they didn't know that we needed to let them know and make a reservation. The café is a very welcoming bar/restaurant, with very friendly and helpful table service. We recommend calling and making a reservation for lunch, too. Traditional dishes with a good selection, and I personally appreciate the more streamlined menus. Choice of first and second courses, miacce, and sandwiches. There's also room for dessert. Braised meats, polenta, and many other choices. Nicely decorated and stylish. Highly recommended.
A must-see if you're in the Mollia area, just a few minutes from Alagna. If you visit on Sunday, make a reservation and ask to visit the museum.
Delicious! A beautiful and very well-kept place. We had two hot chocolates with cream, which were served with plenty of toppings. They even brought water for the dog (they even made sure to ask if we wanted it). Recommended!
I found this cafe by chance, but it was a great discovery. Simple but nice, with very attentive and friendly staff. Excellent, truly excellent value for money. I had a plate of bresaola and parmesan cheese for just under €7.50. Coffee served at the table was €1.50...my husband ordered a sandwich that was delicious too...I highly recommend stopping by, it's worth it.
Nice place, friendly staff, and good options. The only thing that's sometimes annoying is the noise from the motorcycles along the road and the exhaust smell they leave behind.
Looking for a bar... in the middle of nowhere. There it is... we enter and there's a lot of people... where the conversation ends. The cappuccino with soy milk is excellent.
Truly everything was perfect. Quality dishes. The 'rugacc' (I hope I spelled it correctly) is excellent, a must try! (polenta with stewed onion, toma cheese, and speck). Attentive and fast service. Excellent value for money. Very welcoming atmosphere. Well done!
Anyone who hasn't been to this wonderful bar should definitely stop by and try these delicious cookies... The owner makes them... They're delicious!!!! Not to mention her kindness and how she takes care of every service they bring to the table... Few like them... Super attentive... Precise... They really care!!! And it's a great pleasure every time you stop by because you always feel pampered. Thanks and see you next time
We stopped at this café for breakfast before a hike. What can I say? The breakfast was excellent, the service impeccable, and the lady who works there was incredibly kind and friendly. The atmosphere is typical of mountain areas, very refined and incredibly warm. I recommend stopping at this café if you want to experience the kindness, professionalism, and generosity that can only be found in the mountains.
We've been frequenting this place for breakfast for a while now, but I'd never had lunch there. I tried the truly exceptional "Rugacc" dish: polenta with cheese and onion stew, garnished with speck. It's a must-try. The bruschettona was very rich and tasty. The La Tresca beer, Moroccan coffee, and homemade pastries were all excellent. The service was friendly, and the prices were average, if not lower than elsewhere.
The owner, a truly special person who makes this place unique, and the young man who works there make it magical. You walk in thinking it's just a bar, but it's a whole new world that opens its doors and welcomes you, making you feel right at home. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and welcoming, all complemented by the history told through the photos and the museum upstairs. I've been there with my family and our dog Cesare, and I really hope to return soon.
Super cool
Very helpful and friendly staff
We ate well at fair prices.
Eravamo in due e abbiamo preso cappuccino, brioche e fette di torta. Tutto molto buono, soprattutto la crostata con le noci. Locale molto caratteristico ma abbastanza buio. Personale disponibile ma l…
