What can I say... I love the blueberry risotto with cheese fondue! You can tell the dish was freshly cooked because it was perfectly al dente! The location is lovely! The only problem is that we kept making mistakes and confused the bar for the entrance and the bill! Otherwise, it was top notch! We'll be back!

It's always a pleasure to have lunch or dinner at Valico. Their antipasto is magnificent, and their cuisine is authentic and rooted in the local area. The game is delicious. The wine list is enviable. The restaurant itself is also very quaint.

A welcoming and quiet place. Friendly and attentive staff. The dishes are carefully prepared, very good (the platter is fabulous), and the local ingredients are excellent, as is the wine selection. The desserts also deserve excellent marks. Finally, the prices are fair... average. I recommend it. Always excellent.

Lunch with friends on the go. The dishes were all delicious and plentiful. The final price was surprisingly fair. I'll bookmark it if we ever return to the area.

July 20, 2024 edit Really good food, with local ingredients worth trying. The wild boar and snails are a must. Spacious restaurant with a view of the CAF and Bronzone mountains. Good cuisine and a wide selection of wines, also available for purchase.

Business dinner. The dishes aim for refinement; I'd say they're good and well-presented. The restaurant boasts a remarkable wine cellar. The service in my case was imprecise, but perhaps it was just one of those nights; it can happen. During the week, I don't think you need to book since it's out of the way, but it could be an occasion where someone lives in the plains and wants to dine al fresco.

We returned to this place after years, a renovated and welcoming place. The appetizers weren't bad, the ingredients were high-quality, perhaps a little too much on the plate. My fresh pasta dish was too thick, practically all stuck together, a single block... The lamb chops were inedible, the breading was soft and all burned. The bill was too high!!!

We arrived there from a long flight from US and we were hungry so we had no other option as it was already 7:30 pm. This place gave me the impression that tourists are not welcomed here, they mainly cater to locals. The following night we decided to give them another chance and made reservations to dine in. He was slightly more polite but the food was garbage and the service was horrible. They brought drinks and placed them in the middle of the table without asking who's drinking what. Overall, I did not like the service, the food, or the way they treat non-locals. Tourism is their main source of income in this fairly secluded town, they should be nicer.

Bad experience. I stopped for lunch with two friends and we ordered à la carte: 2 tagliatelle with wild boar sauce 1 plate of taragna polenta with porcini mushrooms and grilled cheese 1 bottle of still water 3 glasses of Castelli Calepio red wine 3 plain coffees Total €66. The polenta wasn't made that day but was served in reheated slices. The mushrooms were so full of onion that you couldn't taste the porcini mushrooms, and the cheese could have been from anywhere. The tagliatelle were deemed decent.
