Found almost by chance, there are two ways to reach it from the street: the steps or the small road that leads to the front. That said, it's a simple place, frequented by regulars, connoisseurs, and lovers of long conversations at the table. We have Piedmontese lunch: we choose the tartare, peppers and anchovies, the plin, the tagliata, and the bonnet... everything perfect... That perfection that only knowledge of the products and mastery in the kitchen can provide. Thank you!!!!

On a motorcycle trip, I arrived unannounced and in a rather awkward state to enter a restaurant. I'd driven 200km on a hot August day with an average temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. I requested a seat outside so as not to disturb anyone, but given the outside temperature, they kindly advised against it, offering me a seat inside instead, which was sheltered and cool. The courtesy was top-notch, the food equally so, and the value was top-notch. At the end of the meal, I requested, if available, a "mirto" (myrtle), which the owner offered me from his "personal" bottle... It's hard to understand the less-than-positive reviews, given my experience. I give full stars for everything offered and received. If I were to return to that area, I would opt for a detour, even a long one, just to enjoy the courtesy and food offered.

Authentic restaurant with good food, super friendly owner & staff, homely interior and a nice selection of wines. We loved it. We had mixed antipasti, pasta (all homemade!), Tiramisu and espresso as dessert. Would definitely come back.

I stopped by chance, and I have to say it was a stroke of luck because I ate wonderfully and drank even better. The owner is a man of few words but very good at explaining and recommending the various dishes on the menu. I gave the ambience three stars because, unfortunately, the heating was rather poor and I felt a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, I highly recommend it.
