We were looking for a new place to try and found through groupon. The sushi was great and the ambiance of the place is nice. Its smaller in size and is more on the relaxed side, which I prefer. We did have get our servers attention more than once though to refill our drinks and get the check. The staff was very nice and the place was very clean.

Cute little spit for sushi in Durate. Very affordable and their service was top-notch. They have real wasabi which was so yummy! The miso soup was fine- nothing too amazing. The atmosphere was quaint and parking was accessible.

Always a great local choice! The sushi chef always has the best recommendations. Fish is fresh, the beer is cold, and the miso soup warmed me up on this chilly December night. Enjoy!

Decent cut rolls, very good Unagi don aka unadon, very good tempura shishito peppers. Ponzu sauce a bit too watery.

I loved this place! Took my son who only eats California rolls, but I have a new favorite in their Green Dragon Roll.

First time visiting Sushi Fire. Enjoyed my visit with family. Ordered 6 different sushi rolls and a bento box. Failed to take a picture lol but trust they were all good. Ordered the Dynamite roll as an app - delicious! Ordered an Echigo beer, since it was the first time I noticed this beer at a Japanese restaurant. Wow was it worth the price! The staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating. Thank you! Overall, had a really good experience at this restaurant. I'll be back.

Yes, I already have a review of Sushi Fire (and I stand by it), but I am compelled to add another review, here’s why. My wife and I come here quite often these days. In fact, it is one of the very few restaurants we are still willing to spend our money at. (The dismal state of cuisine in Southern California is a topic for another day.) Why? Because the food is good. It tastes good. It looks good. No, they do not serve $30 per piece Bluefin Otoro, nor do they serve $400 a box Akatsuki Uni. Don’t get me wrong, they’re probably amazing (I will never know), but I don’t live in Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos world, nor do I live in Robert De Niro’s world, for that matter. I live in the real world, where $40 for one meal is a heck of a lot of money, but I’m willing to pay it, if it is good. And Sushi Fire is definitely good. In the past year that we have been frequenting Sushi Fire, I have gotten to know Winston. I started asking him to make me something different, something I have never had before. This is how Winston came up with the “Chef’s Special”. The Chef’s Special is nothing more than Winston’s creative imagination. Almost every time it is different, but it is always good. I’ve uploaded a bunch of pictures here of Winston’s Chef’s Special, so take a look and see how creative he can be. (I call them all “Chef’s Special”) I invite you to stop by and put yourself in Winston’s hands (it helps if you sit at the sushi bar). Ask him for a Chef’s Special (let him know if there’s anything you don’t like). Then, all you have to do is sit back and let him amaze you. Definitely my favorite place right now. Way to go Winston! Way to go Sushi Fire!

The service is very friendly and the menu is very appealing to the taste buds. There is parking next to the restaurant. The rolls are on the generous side compared to others who serve mini rolls.

Friendly and speedy service! We got all you can eat for a great price and it comes with desert at the end! The sushi is fresh and the presentation is incredible! 💯 Recommended! This was our first time here and everything was great! Thank you 😊

Everything was great the only thing is that it's not All You Can Eat Anymore. But other than that, everything was great. Fish was fresh the Cajun Albacore was really tasty. My ass tore this sushi boat by myself took me about 40min, but it was worth it. Update been coming back to Sushi Fire and am glad to say that the All You Can Eat is back.

New spot for my partner and I to eat at. Super chill atmosphere, the guy helping us was super nice, and the food was good as hell. Phili crunch roll did NOT disappoint. Same with the Grand Canyon roll; super good and flavorful. Fresh tasting and for sushi; great pricing dude. Relatively cheap restaurant beer too. Thank you guys! Super recommend stopping by if you got a craving for sushi.

Great local sushi shop. I have the poke bowl, which was quite filling. We also had the shrimp and vegetable tempura bento which was also a good size. The stuff was very friendly.

It’s a very small place, you have to park on the side or front street of the location. Placed a pick up order. Greeted as soon as I walked in. It wasn’t busy, so my order was ready when I got there. I would love to next time dine in. The rolls I order were delicious, my favorite was their crawfish roll. Definitely, will come back when I’m in the area.

Excellent neighborhood sushi spot! We normally sit at the counter and the service has always been incredible. The parking lot is a little tight so be aware. Great food and prices.

Great Japanese food. They have very well done sushi here. When they first opened few years ago, we were amongst the first to patron this place. The husband and wife team opened this restaurant. I heard that the chef was a sushi chef at a Las Vegas hotel. The wife was very friendly. Every time we went to eat there, she always got something new for us to try. We have been frequenting this restaurant for a long time. The sushi are very fresh and the fishes they used here are the best quality. I have never been disappointed eating here. I have tried everything with their all you eat menu. Unfortunately, after covid hit, the restaurant no long offers all you can eat option. But the sushi are still very good and fresh. The only thing is that the prices have gone up quite a bit. A sashimi bowl with rice costs more than $28. With no indoor dining, the outdoor dining option is like the fast food joint with a few chairs to sit after ordering the food. This is not a good dining experience. Maybe we should wait for the the restaurant to reopen for in door dining before going back to eat here.

Service was okay. The ambiance was lackluster. I was ignored for the first few mins. No one said "Hi", "Welcome", or acknowledged my existence. They had a total of 8 people inside. When asked of I needed help, I said I was here to pick up an order. After I gave my card, I got more acknowledgement. Not sure why I bothered tipping. Food was OKAY. There are better options else where.
