Keep Topside our local treasure! This is one of our most favorite restaurants in all of Montauk! So many delicious baked clams and margaritas have been shared among friends and family here! When my husband and I got married in Montauk, we created a map of our most beloved places to encourage our guests to visit, and Topside was undoubtedly one of them. We love Topside, and we hope it will be here long enough for our children to love it as much as we do!

I’m so glad the old school spirit of Gosman’s is kept alive somewhere even with all these recent changes. The most beautiful spot to come for dinner for a drink or lowkey meal and such a kind and fun loving staff. Kenny the bartender took great care of us at the kind man (manager maybe?!) at the front took the BEST photo of my best friend and I will solidified a perfect girls day!

We had an amazing dinner. We received a gift from my husband’s sister and originally thought it was for the new restaurant Bagatelle. We looked at the menu and we were disappointed to see it was a French restaurant. Luckily, it turned out that our gift certificate was for Topside. The manager Kate couldn’t have been more accommodating. We had a lovely conversation with her. Our waitress Jana was amazing. She was so friendly and attentive. She treated us as if we were the only guests in the restaurant. I would highly recommend the lobster caprese. The presentation was beautiful and they certainly didn’t skimp on the lobster. The same for the lobster tacos. My husband had the mussels in a creamy wine sauce along with the steak which was cooked perfectly. It was a perfect anniversary dinner. We will be back again next year.

The best lunch view in Montauk is right here at Gosman’s topside. This casual seafood joint is a must-stop if you’re in the Hamptons and want a classic experience. The food is all great and we love that they offer a Japanese menu of fresh caught options as well. Their Dark & Stormy cocktail is simply delicious and altogether dangerously well poured especially with a rum float. The 2.5 pound lobster was the highlight of our last visit as was our cheerful and funny server. Can’t wait to return!

Not much value for money. Simple fast food.

Food was just ok but the service was bad. For the price it shouldn’t be this way.
