Haven’t been here in a long while and kinda forgot about it. But my parents wanted to go specifically for some garlic crab. And it did not disappoint! One of the better Cantonese style Chinese restaurants in the SGV! I would absolutely come more often now. Whoever cooked on 8/15 dinner time, chefs kiss. Garlic crab was delicious. Although crab is so tedious to eat like this, it was really good. Beef filet cubes were super flavorful and so tender. Not chewy at all like other Chinese restaurants make it. The lobster was my favorite. Black pepper seasoning was not too overpowering and the basil added such a nice aroma. Green beans were amazing. Perfect amount of wok char flavor and spice. Salt and pepper squid was fried perfectly, not chewy or tough at all. Clams were tasty but for this one you gotta enjoy bittermelon. If you don’t, stick with the clams and black bean sauce. Fried tofu was good, soy sauce with it just needed some chili. Beef chow fun was delicious, you can taste the wok char, noodles were perfect texture, we said no bean sprouts so they kindly added Chinese broccoli for us. The fried rice was good but lacking on something. I would definitely try a different fried rice next time. Service - keeping in mind it’s a Chinese restaurant, they were still sooooo nice! Attentive with tea and switching plates. Food came out quick. They brought napkins and checked on us. We enjoyed our dining experience. Parking - free small lot in this little plaza. Didn’t have an issue with parking at all. I’m sure if they got busy, parking might be a smidge difficult. But we had no issues with 3 cars.

Delicious food. Unbelievable Garlic Crab. Lightly fried, delicious crunchy garlic. Braised string beans. French style steak. Salt and Pepper Squid. And complimentary red bean soup for dessert after dinner.

I did not have a big appetite today , so I just ordered the House Special Fried Rice. Crab is their specialty - it was $59 today, but I felt it was too big for myself. House Special Fried Rice - had crab meat and dried scallops. It was quite good with that authentic wok hey flavor.

My wife’s family and I come here at least 1-2 a month. I love coming here. Typically I’ll order their salt and pepper pork, but I’ve yet to order something I didn’t like on their menu. Service is always extremely friendly and the food usually comes out promptly.

Parking can be rough but sometimes you might find a spot right in front like we did today! Or there is plenty of street parking. They take credit card. Plenty of tables and no reservations are taken. Service can be a little hard to get their attention but the waiter who helped us was really friendly. You will have to order rice separately but the tea is free and has a good roasty taste. We ordered the infamous shredded taro and chives (SO delicious) and the amazing beef dish (forgot the name but it’s one of their house specials). There were other dishes as well but these two are my favorite! Both pretty expensive at $22 or $25 per a dish. But it is tasty and my parents love this place!!

On a visit to Monterey park, we were in the mood for Chinese food, our friends recommended seafood palace, located on Garvey ave. Took forever to find an empty parking spot, as it’s very busy place. We were party of five, so we had the chance to order multiple different dishes to share. The house special crabs, kind of spicy with lots of minced roasted garlic, looks and taste great, The house special pork hock, deep fried skins and also was very delicious. My favorite was the diced steak French style it was fabulous! We also ordered some vegetables shredded taro with chives very good. The house special giant prawns has great taste and spices. All in all it was good experience, it came to around $35 pp. I will definitely come back to try other dishes.

Consistent delivery of high quality Cantonese food over years! We were here 15 years ago, liked it so much that we went twice in our week-long vacation. We came a couple of times this year after we moved here and are impressed with the consistent great flavor in the food. What makes this place great is there is no bad dish (of what we tried), which isn’t common even among LA’s great Chinese restaurants. Quick service both times recently, the servers could smile more. :-)

Top tier Chinese restaurant with excellent consistency. I’ve visited this restaurant twice now, and both times every dish has been amazing (except for fish pot). The house special crab is delicious though difficult to eat. The fried cod is wonderful as well. It’s very crispy on the outside and so tender on the inside. Best fried fish I’ve had. Squab was interesting to try. Flavor and texture were both pretty good, but not worth the price in my opinion due to the small portion and similarity to duck/chicken. Mushroom beef stir fry is a hidden gem in this restaurant. It’s not featured as a house special in the images on the walls, but achieves restaurant level stir fry with its glistening and tender mushrooms, flavorful beef, without excess oil/grease underneath. A dish very difficult to make at home. The string beans also exceed expectations; they have just the right consistency with the outer layer of skin slightly wrinkling, but a cooked crunchy interior. Friendly suggestion to this restaurant would be to consider making a house special fried fish! The fish was quite good but I don’t like the sweet and sour sauce it came with, and I think it could be improved by adding the fried garlic bits that are the hallmark of a bi Feng tang dish. Would love this place even more with a bi Feng tang fish! Service was also great. Plates were switched out frequently because we were eating the crab, and when I dropped a chopstick someone noticed immediately and brought me a new pair. Appreciate it!

We had lunch on Chinese New Year day. The live crab was delicious and fresh. Other dishes were tasty as well. We came with friends for dinner for different occasions. Some of the dinner selections were unique. If you order any dishes that were in photos on the wall, you can't go wrong. Those signature dishes were an excellent choice.

Came here for a birthday dinner. The food is SO GOOD! Stand outs were the lobster noodles, Szechuan beef, clams, house special crab, and fish. Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu

Best crab I have had in the US. It is certainly not cheap but definitely more than enough for your party. Trust me, I have an 18 year old son who eats a lot and we didn’t finish the dish.

Came for dinner with family for a casual dine-in. The staff is friendly and you can totally speak to them in ToiSan/Canto if you wish to feel like you're right at home. Food is typical of these restaurants - some dishes like the SALTED FISH WITH EGGPLANT is delicious but oily, and other dishes can be overly salty and overly oily. Their SOUPS are absolutely delicious and steal the show but there's always too much stuff and not enough liquid. It's got a good variety of dishes to choose from and prices are pretty much on par for the area. At the end of the meal you'll get a warm blend of sweet taro dessert (not the the red bean thankfully). Parking is shared lot so during busy hours you might just have to park on the street.

Nothing was bad but had more underwhelming dishes than hits. Best dishes: crab, shrimp/meat pieces Wouldn't get again: vermicelli with meat, omelette with preserved turnip Overall nothing was bad but nothing was amazing except for the crab

Really good but too noisy. The waiters drop the plates, bowls and spoon and undo the tables with so much noise. It was really annoying. Please be more delicate. Very expensive.

I felt that there were two servers (older) that came across somewhat rude. One took our order, but was displaying impatience. The other, when requesting, items such as forks or extra napkins came across as flippant.
