El Bosque Montgomery Reviews
I got chicken Diablo and was delicious
Waiter was absolutely 💯 on target, very friendly and know his job very well. Food was excellent. We will definitely be back and tell our friends
Great staff that always have a smile. Food is fresh. Awesome drinks!
Top notch Mexican food. Get the special. Amazing combination and presentation. The wait staff is very attentive, and the Margarita is a must.
The margaritas are so good here! I've been pretty burnt out on tequila over the years so I don't normally get margaritas anymore. I came here with a friend and our daughters for a late lunch date and my friend ordered me the Don Juan margarita made with Don Julio tequila. It was so good that I'm going to take my husband there for our next date night just so I can get another one. 😍
At first there weren't many cars in the parking lot at 7:45p on a Wednesday evening, so most know not to stop. Fortunately, we DID! This place has probably stood the test of time and been the only Mexican food place for a while. I can tell you it was one of the best places we've eaten. The salsa was fresh, chips were crisp and crunchy. My beef fajita meat had the best flavor and tasted fresh as well. The service was friendly and fast! We'll def be back!
El Bosque Mexican Restaurant delivers an incredible dining experience! The food is flavorful and fresh, with generous portions that satisfy every craving. The service is prompt, friendly, and attentive, ensuring a comfortable visit. Their diverse menu offers something for everyone, with authentic dishes bursting with traditional Mexican flavors. Highly recommend for a delightful meal!
El Bosque Mexican Restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The food is flavorful, authentic, and prepared to perfection. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a casual dinner or a special celebration. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and efficient. From the chips and salsa to the entrées, every bite was delicious. Highly recommend this gem for anyone craving excellent Mexican cuisine. We will definitely be returning!
I came in for the first time and the staff are fantastic. The food another level and generous portions. Everything was extremely fresh and the Tecate was very refreshing in this heat! so happy to have found this restaurant! I’ll tell everyone I know! Thank you for such a great dining experience -
I've been to many restaurants in Montgomery. I base my first review on chips & salsa. Chips are homemade, salsa great. I prefer spicier. I asked my waiter for a more spicy, Diablo type sauce for my meal and he brought me the MOST delicious salsa!!! Food is not greasy. Charro beans are filled with bacon. I honestly didn't find a flaw besides realizing there wasn't grease in my food that I was used to, found the side of guac on my plate had actual chunks of avocado, and realized it DOESN'T need to have all that normal grease in there. This needs to be your favorite spot because it is now mine! Pictured below was a lunch plate and of course below $20 ❣️
Family brought us here for dinner on our first night in town. Staff is friendly, food was yummy. Authentic food at a good price. There was good flavor without being loaded with peppers like other restaurants. Full bar, beer, and frozen margaritas. Coke products. Bottomless chips and salsa!
Food was good. Would be nice to see someone smile. Did not see any from the employees. Bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. Both doors into the ladies room must be open at the same time to maneuver a wheelchair in.
Food was just okay. The queso we ordered came out watery and would not even stay on the chip. Food appeared to be frozen and nuked. Slow service for sure and there were only 4 tables in there after church. Not sure if that is a coincidence or effects of the same issues we had. $180 total for the 7 of us (3 adults & 4 kids) including a 20% tip. Probably won't be going there again.
Been going here for a while, the food has always been great. Went to try the Sunday buffet last weekend and the food was awesome as usual, however when we got our bill for four people we were surprised to see that our one year old had racked up a buffet bill as well, for a couple of chips and cantaloupe. Would still go here but just be aware they’re charging for high chair sitters as well so you might go to sombrero instead
Nice place with excellent service. The food, which is the main attraction, not good. In fact it was bad. Real bad. Ill never come back. Chicken Diablo taste the way a wet dog smells. Sorry to be so graphic but its an accurate description.
Bad Service Bad Food Took my daughter and grandson to lunch yesterday for their birthdays. Service was terrible server could not understand English or speak it, messed up my order. Took three times to get it right. Grandson said his fajitas were OK. I’m not OK with an extra dollar because he ordered beef. Food is already really expensive here even a lunch menu. My daughter‘s rice was not Mexican rice it was just colored rice. The sauce on the enchiladas did not look right not the right color besides screwing up my taco the Chalupa instead of being flat was on a cup tortilla upside down when they put everything on it, it just falls off so I had basically a salad with some runny beans in it. On top of all that they overcharged my daughter‘s rice and two enchiladas, charged her three different charges ended up being $16 for two enchiladas and some rice. I did not realize the overcharge until I got home. Call back to speak to a manager had to call twice because he wasn’t there. He really didn’t seem to understand English either I’m complaining and he kept asking me if I wanted on Uber Eats. Finally got through to him that I was complaining. He said he would put in a complaint form and someone would call me. Of course that’s never gonna happen. Hasn’t happened yet. Then last night I was sick. Pretty sure it was from the awful runny beans. Won’t be back.
Just had the WORST breakfast tacos in my life. They were served in a cold tortilla, the eggs almost cold and the ham barely visible. The beans and potatoes on the side were at best lukewarm. The fruit on the plate looked like it was left out overnight but at least cold. The coffee was so cool that it was not tasteful. To top it off, the server asked if everything was OK. The food inspector should stop here with a thermometer that works. Never going back to this place who should rename their restaurant...El Garbage!!!!
