Kids and I had mild Buttered Chicken. Very delicious. Husband had the medium House Special Curry Goat and he devoured it. He can take much heat but he liked it. The butter and garlic naan was perfect. We ordered more to-go

First time trying Indian cuisine and it was an absolute 10/10! I will definitely be back and will be bringing my friends! I had the traditional samosa as a starter, and the butter chicken, butter naan, and rice for dinner and it was great! The server helped me wrap my naan when I was packing my leftovers! Can’t wait to come back! :)

I recently dined at Saffron in Montgomery and overall had a great experience—especially when it came to the food. The dishes were excellent across the board. Everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. If you're going for the cuisine alone, Saffron absolutely delivers and is worth the visit. Service was okay—not bad, but not particularly memorable. There were a few moments where things felt a bit slow or less attentive than expected, but nothing that detracted too heavily from the meal. The atmosphere is also just okay. It’s comfortable enough, but doesn’t quite match the quality and excitement of the food. In short: come for the food—it’s the standout. With a bit more polish in service and ambiance, this place could easily be exceptional.

This place is phenomenal!! They have a variety of options for all sorts of dietary needs. They have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options available! I've been here twice now and I can say it blows me out of the water each time on just how flavorful everything is! I would definitely recommend getting a mango lassi with your order as the sweet, refreshing flavor pairs well with the spiciness of the food

My wife and I had dinner here Friday night for our Valentine's Day date night. The entire staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was the real star of the show. My wife had the Goat Curry, it was absolutely amazing. And there was a lot of it. She wound up bringing half of it home. And I was under strict orders to, "don't even think about it". Myself, I had the Shrimp Moilee. There was no shortage of shrimp in this dish! And the sauce? Pure heaven! The Garlic Naan, the perfect accompaniment. We had high hopes for our dinner at Saffron Indian Kitchen and we were not disappointed. The entire experience was incredible! Thank you so much!

The food was delicious! Me and my party split the butter chicken, the tikka masala chicken, and the curry goat. We also had garlic and cheese garlic naan. All superb! This was my first time trying. Thinking to change up my eatery spots for my taste buds and I can say this food was amazing. Came later in the evening for dinner and food was hot and fresh staff was amazing. Most definitely will be back to try the buffet !

I've been to Saffron multiple times and each time I'm thoroughly satisfied. Rocky was my waiter a few times and he's simply awesome. My family is vegan and he was extremely patient explaining the different choices. Food is cooked to order. Everything is fresh and always flavorful. The Dal Fry is my favorite and it doesn't disappoint.

The service was truly top-notch—warm, patient, and incredibly attentive. My companion has lived in India, so he helped me navigate the menu, but the staff went above and beyond by bringing out a few samples so I could taste different dishes before settling in. Every single thing I tried was absolutely delicious! If you’ve never tried Indian food or if you’ve driven past this place without going in, you have no idea what you’re missing. The flavors, the freshness, and the hospitality are unmatched. I’m in town for work, but I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Montgomery. A true hidden gem!

First time here, brought two children and we all enjoyed it. Very welcoming, friendly, ensured food was delicious, and food was hot, full of flavor and the place smells amazing! There are a variety of options on the menu, including vegetarian and sauces. We ordered all vegetarian options and Naan. They also recommended their Mango Lassi drink which the children loved! They said the yogurt is made in house and the mango is from India. Everything was excellent and we will definitely return! Thank you for your hospitality.

It was Meatless Monday Vegan Night, however we had tandoori chicken and lamb vindaloo with garlic naan bread and samosas for our appetizer. Amazing placing. Food was incredible. Will definitely visit again.

A nice restaurant for Indian food! I was visiting the city and came across this place. I tried their buffet—the food was great and the staff were friendly. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

When you first walk into the place, it doesn’t look like much but the decor is nicely decorated with cultural Indian decor. You immediately smell the wonderful curry spice when you come through the door. They have several large tables and some smaller ones as well. Went here with family and we each chose different dishes. I chose the Tikki Marsala and it did not disappoint. Rich with flavor, this is hands down some of the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten and it just wasn’t my dish. The Butterrr Chicken, Coconut Curry Chicken and Tandoori Chicken were fabulous as well. Be sure to get some of the Garlic Naan which is great for dipping in the Tikki and Butterrr Chicken sauces. We started with some Mix Veg Bhajia fritters. They also had a good flavor with some dipping sauces, though I did find them a little “bready”. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The price per entree for what we had was between $22 and $24. May be a little pricey but the food was excellent. There was nothing that wasn’t outstanding and we had plenty of food to take home leftovers. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, look no further than Saffron Indian Kitchen.

My wife and I visited for dinner. We had samosa (potato and pea), chicken korma and kadhai goat curry. We also had a rosemary naan. We really enjoyed the samosas and chicken and goat curries, just the right amount of spice and lots of flavor. Would order those again. The only thing we'd nit order again would be the rosemary naan as there was too much rosemary for our taste. They did offer to change it though which was nice. Service was excellent, very friendly. Will be going back to try the lunch buffet which looks like great value.

Went in for a buffet on a Saturday. A good number of patrons indicative of a popular place. Not crowded so was seated promptly. Very good food, not spicy and still full of flavor. Planning on taking a larger group here next time.

I was with a group of 8 who decided on Indian food. The staff at Saffron were quick to get a table set within 10 minutes or less. We had 4 different checks which some places get annoyed but our server was very flexible. They answered all our questions, and I had several since this was my first time to eat at this establishment. Drinks were brought out promptly and refilled often. The food was brought out and was absolutely delicious. We each shared from each others plate and some ordered mild and others medium. The dishes were all very flavorful but not overly spicy. I really enjoyed this place and look forward to coming back to try more dishes from the menu.

Having been here about 5 times now I feel I can dial my review in a little better. They are now the only Indian buffet in town. They stay pretty busy and I will say the buffet is serviceable. After ordering off the menu I will say that I will probably be returning for the buffet for a quick lunch. AC was struggling a little on my last visit, hope that's remedied by summer. They have a selection of Indian sweets I haven't tried.
