This was our first time coming to this location. We stay in the area every year for a few weeks and I was looking for A local restaurant that had brunch. This place was amazing!!! The French toast was absolutely delicious and was the best French toast I have ever had. My daughter had tea and the Oreo cookies and cream pancakes. They were truly delicious. We also had the blueberry pancakes. They were very good and scrumptious. The staff is very kind and helpful. They were very attentive and getting our food ready and having everything looking great.
Went here for the first time, nvr in Montgomery Ny before and I found this as the half way pt between Ct and the Pocono's. Made reservations for 12 pple. We all loved the atmosphere, the food was very good, Phil was fabulous as our waiter and very personable. The cocktail menu was fun, someone has a great sense of humor. Loved the chocolate desserts in the case. Seems like this maybe our new Thanksgiving tradition! ❤️ thanks to The Table for an enjoyable time.
The first time we came here was 2 months ago for brunch on Father’s Day, my 3 kids, husband and myself. Everything was perfect. Today my husband, our youngest son, and myself, decided to come in for burgers and the truffle fries. Again, everything was perfect! I would recommend this restaurant every single chance I get. We will definitely be back again!
One of the best restaurants in the area. I love the new decor. We had the Chicken BLT and Pineapple Crab Salad. So delicious. Make sure to put this on your list of hot go to places this summer! Oh, and make sure you leave room for “cleaning” up dessert. Pun intended! Be sure to check out the dessert display on the way in to pick out your favorite!
My wife and I came here for a lunch date . We really had a nice time , we're seated fast and our food was awesome. Our burgers were sooo good and had so much taste/flavor.
Super cozy and delicious food and lattes! Great spot in Montgomery.
I came to visit a friend and she recommend that we try this place. Her recommendation didn't disappoint me! The Diamond wrap was delicious and the Truffle burger was cooked perfectly! The staff was accommodating and very helpful. You should also try their crafted teas.
It was our 1st time eating here, the food was delicious and service was very nice. We ordered the eggplant fries & crab cakes for appetizers. The fries were so light and the batter was perfect. The crab cakes came with a pineapple aioli and was ALL crab no filler. We also had drinks- home school hell was our favorite. So glad to have been able to go inside & enjoy a great time
Just found the leftovers from this place after my wife was there and holey smokes! This wrap is awesome! Perfectly done. Definitely need to go there and try the food fresh. 5 stars
I have eaten here a few times and it never disappoints! The fries are always fantastic and I have enjoyed my entrees during each visit.
Food and service is always top notch here. They make delicious drinks and the quality and creativity of their menu is incomparable. You can't go wrong with their breakfast, lunch or dinner, all are delish!
This place is great! Delicious food, great service clean environment and good price. I had the truffle burger it was amazing! Would love to return for dinner.
My lady and I we had the Cinnamon French toast , the Apple chicken wrap and the Egg breakfast . To top it off we shared a Bloody Mary . The quality of the food was amazing like Wow 🤩 We highly recommend this place and definitely coming back here again and again . Excited to try the other entrees
Staff was very courteous. Was our first time and our friends who recommended this place 3rd time going. Dinner was delicious. Will absolutely return when in the area.
Attended a baby shower there. Very nice place. Food was excellent. Staff was accommodating and attentive. Would go back for dinner when I am in town next time.
Attentive staff. High quality food at affordable price. Was very impressed with the selection of burgers and types of unique fries. I plan to return
If you enjoy dining in Montgomery and don't try the Table, you have missed out on a great meal. The food is fresh and outstanding, not the same old menu.
Atmosphere is inviting, food is delicious, and wait staff is friendly. Fairly priced, it is a great place to go for any occasion, and makes a great spot for friends to gather and enjoy good food.
We love this place. Wish it was more open. Delicious food and the drink specials always make me laugh!
We have been going to The Table for a year. It's our families favorite place to eat dinner or lunch. The service is friendly and the chef is incredible.
Had a delightful brunch. Blueberry pancakes are awesome! The atmosphere is relaxing, and the decor very nice.
Food was very good. Portions were the perfect size for most adults. Don't miss the candy bar!
Fabulous!! Brunch is great too!! Had a party their and they offered a great menu with great prices!! They are very nice and flexible.
Awesome. Best presentation of a meal I’ve ever experienced. Food awesome. Crew very attentive and personable.
A local treasure in the heart of Montgomery. Loved everything about this place! Decorated in a hip, casual, and very thoughtful way. I wanted to sample everything on the menu. Settled for a wrap which was beyond amazing (how could a sandwich wrap be so tasty??). Service was quick and personable. Very clean.
Went for brunch with a group of 17. Our waitress Sara was flawless and very attentive. Food all came ot at once and there was a great selection, everything we had people said was very good. And we all had separate checks!! A great addition to the Montgomery foodie scene.
We have supported all of our local establishments over the last few weeks. The 3 times we have ordered from The Table it has always been amazing. The Korean BBQ wrap was one of the best wraps I've ever had.
One of our local favorites. The owner Phil always does his best to accommodate his guests. We love the food but their flowerless chocolate cake and other candy are my wife favorite
I cannot say enough great things about The Table. Stopped in for lunch with my wife and daughter. We all were extremely happy with our food, presentation, friendly environment and fast service. Definitely will be back soon.
I have had their hamburgers before and they are really good. My fam and I sat down and had dinner last night. Have to say "Yo" that was really fire!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I got ribeye with mashed potatoes and griiled squash, it was really really good. But wait the appetizers "truffle fries with asiago" was great without ketchup!!! My wife got bbq pork shank (cant remember the whole name) osso bucco apple and mashed potatoes. Hey I have to say those mashed potatoes were seriously flavorful. Potatoe game on smash. The ribeye was tender and well seasoned. Definitely will be going there again to eat. The desest i had was equally amazing something chocolate (super dense) with raspberry sauce.
We have been to The Table for lunch, Sunday brunch, and dinner. Each and every time the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and we love the atmosphere. The Table has become our "Go-To" place for a great dinner out or a couple drinks and appetizers on a Friday night!
You must try! It’s a little gem In Montgomery- friendly staff, very knowledgeable. Food presentation is artistic and quirky serving plates make the meal. Of course the food is incredible. Would highly recommend if you are in town and if you area local, why haven’t you been here yet?
Absolutely beautiful interior the staff was attentive and the food was fantastic. Lunch prices seemed quite reasonable for the quality of food. Average lunch was approximately $15. Desserts would definitely five star in delivery appearance and taste.
The Apple burger was out of this world. And the Brussel sprout appetizer was insanely good! Hubby and daughter are already asking when we are going back :)
My absolutely favorite restaurant in the Tri-state area. The chef somehow knows how to satisfy your taste buds with everything they prepare. We have become cheeky with the staff which makes us all look forward to having dinner there often as possible . By the way, we travel from Dingmans PA. That's how much we love this place.
Dining here for Brunch was such a pleasant experience. The food was just excellent and our waiter added to a wonderful afternoon. Their chocolate case must be seen. It is beautiful...each chocolate is a work of art.
The Table is one of my favorite restaurants in Orange County. The menu changes often and never disappoints me. The mix drinks are always made with fresh ingredients.
Amazing place! Went for the 1st time today for bday lunch with my husband. I have to say friendly, inviting and warm place and the food is out of this world. We definitely will be going back so stop reading this and head over for lunch or dinner you will not be disappointed.
Amazing meals, artful presentation, attentive staff. The Table feels like home - only you don't have to cook. This is the place for the world's best fries.
We had a wonderful night, thank you to Phil for a great 40th B day dinner, they even sang happy b day in key, but don't ask that's just for vip. Food was great, service was great, new fav place. See you soon.- the forty somethings
I absolutely love this restaurant . The atmosphere the kind service. The FOOD IS AWSOME. I highly recommend this restaurant and if there is a wait it’s worth waiting for. It just shows how popular this warm friendly restaurant is. 5 STARS
Destination, freelance! Driving through Montgomery and drove by Open ! Sunday 12 noon...I was treated as An Empress and had this room to myself. Angels are happy here! Food is impressive and the energy is amazing.
Our family had an amazing time yesterday having " Brunch with Santa"! The food, ambiance, and service was above and beyond! It definitely surpassed our families expectations and we haven't stopped talking about it! My kids loved Santa and Mrs. Claus & were raving about the food asking if we could go back again! We did not feel rushed or felt like we were missing any Santa time. Everything was at our own pace. Our server was awesome! His name slipped but he helped us in the back room corner by the fireplace at the 10am time! We had a phenomenal experience! Can't wait to return!
First time at The Table and I would highly recommend. Food was delicious and service was wonderful. Will definitely be back. We were a party of three And everyone was highly impressed.
Fabulous dinner!! My husband's rib eye was one of the best he has ever had. My short rib was succulent and cooked perfectly. The drink menu made it hard to choose a favorite. Great ambiance and stellar service!! Bill and Sue Taylor
Passed through Montgomery and stopped at The Table, a little, unassuming looking place. Well, the food was Excellent! Prices were very reasonable and service with a smile. The Craft Fries were amazing, by far the best I've ever had anywhere. Finally, even if you don't drink have a look at their drink menu. They have a good sense of humor.
Absolutely awesome. I enjoyed everything about The Table. It was very clean.. This was my first brunch ever and I loved every minute is it. From the moment we got there we were greeted by Patrick and seated immediately. Patrick was a very attentive funny character and he made our experience even better. The food was really good and my daughters and I decided right there that we would be returning for brunch every Sunday.
My husband and I just got back from a delicious lunch at The Table. Delicious! Had the Korean steak wrap, perfectly seasoned. My husband had the bacon burger. Again, delicious. A real burger! Not frozen or premade. We had been there several times before Covid. It was great to be back. The proprietor is a very hard working man. If you’re looking for good food, not run of the milk and a pretty atmosphere, check it out.
We hosted our daughter's christening luncheon yesterday. From the food to the service, everything was wonderful. Phil was so accommodating with our needs and requests. He helped us create a menu that was perfect for what we needed. Our guests raved about the food, and we were happy to have a little extra to take home! We are so grateful for Phil and his staff in making our day for our daughter so special!
Could not have been better, all courses were awesome. Service was great. My first time here will definitely not be my last. Salad was perfect, ossobuco was the star and to think I almost didnt order it, highly recommended. The mango cheesecake dessert with a raspberry drizzle was also outstanding. Presentation was exceptional, so sorry I didn't take pictures. If eating out anywhere within 25 miles of Montgomery consider The Table i was very impressed and will be coming back.
Friendly service and delicious food and drinks, what you want on a date night. Loved it. Plan on going back soon!
The places is absolutely beautiful. The food is incredible delicious. The scrambled eggs are so light and fluffy a must try. The truffle fries are delicious and you get plenty. I will be going aging and yes will recommend to friends!
Fabulous dinner tonight with the hubby. Crispy chicken is unbelievably good. Portion was huge. Hubby loved the lamb chops. Kudos to the chef for creating a truly delicious American cuisine in Montgomery. Looking forward to eating here again.
First time in the place and you know I would have to say the chef is really good. Great preparations on the food and presentation. Montgomery NY has impressed us. Everything thing on the menu was amazing and service felt homey and communication was welcoming. Definitely recommend the place if your in town for meets or other businesses. Let me tell you if I am on the way to Canada and I pass this place I am heading to THE TABLE for food and their beer.
We had the pleasure of having our wedding at The Table this past weekend. What an incredible day we had and we owe a lot of it to the people at The Table. From working with us, to our florist and officiant, to making sure every last little detail was perfect. The staff and service were friendly, attentive and made sure we wanted for nothing. Just incredible service! Our family and friends couldn’t rave enough about the ambiance and the food, it was out of this world. The Table made our day an amazing one and allowed us to truly enjoy our celebration without any worries. We thank you for everything! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
The food we ordered was excellent, and our neighbors' food made us wish we ordered more, but surprisingly, the eggs only come scrambled, so be aware of that.
The new owner Phil and his entire staff went out of their way to make a bridal shower extra special. They are so accommodating and kind. The food was fresh, delicious and plentiful! The pricing was also very affordable. I would recommend this quaint place for any type of occasion, or shower. The decor is really fantastic and cozy.
The Table is a one of a kind gem. Everything on their menu is amazing. The food selections are not your run of the mill choices and everything has its own unique culinary spin and is delicious. The drink menu is always changing and forever entertaining. Just like the food the drinks are always incredible. You will not be disappointed if you go here!
Delicious food. So much to choose from. Nice atmosphere. Creative cocktail menu. We didn't have a cocktail, but planning on going back because the food was that good. And I'll have a cocktail the next time. Highly recommend.
Amazing as always! Everything on the menu is well thought out and perfectly prepared. The cheese curds were to die for, and don’t get me started on the tuna carpaccio. The wasabi tuna main course did not disappoint either(we love our tuna!). The icing on the cake is the gourmet chocolates that you can choose from as well as numerous baked items. We’ll be back!
Finest food I have had in a long time! Walking in you notice two things…a Bar and a Chocolate bar. I had a fantastic night out while on a double date. Started off the night with their fun drinks…every drink we had was like liquid candy. Kicked off the meal with the Duck Wings, the honey garlic reduction was insanely good. I had the perfectly presented Andouille short ribs with the onion jam and garlic mashed potatoes. I could have licked the bowl clean it was so tasty. Dessert was fun and hit the spot we had (Peanut butter mousse cake, Chocolate mousse bomb, Rainbow cake, Key lime mousse). Extremely friendly staff, we had fun talking with Sir Davenport the knight.
We were here for my cousin's Baby Shower a private party so the restaurant was closed for us.
I’ve been looking for a good restaurant in the area and had wanted to try The Table for a while. We had thought it might be a little too hip or fancy, but were completely wrong. The atmosphere is super warm, cozy, and inviting. I ordered the short rib and, hands down, it’s the best meal I’ve had in the Hudson valley in years. We went early and felt comfortable with our five year old. My salad was also top notch, crisp and fresh. Highly recommend.
We came in for breakfast because Iron Cafe was packed. Everything was excellent from the cappuccino to the toast. Bacon, scrambled eggs, and potatoes were perfectly cooked. My partner had the apple chicken wrap and it too was delicious. The greens on the side were delicately dressed. Wait staff was attentive and very pleasant. I will be back!
We recently had my wife’s 40th birthday party at The Table. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Phil and the staff were not only amazing on the night but did a lot of work leading up to the event to make us feel as comfortable as possible. I am neurotic as hell but Phil and his team put me at ease and allowed me to relax and enjoy the evening! Also, A+ for working with us to make a gluten free menu so my wife (wheat allergy) could enjoy everything. If you’re local or just happen to be in the area, you need to check out The Table! P.S. if you’re having an event there, whatever you do, get the short ribs! The whole menu was delicious but the short ribs really stood out.
First time here. Other patrons were happy to see the owners/team so likely they have a good relationship with locals. Menu was diverse with vegetarian options and humorously named drink options. Food and cappuccinos were delicious, no exaggeration. They have a wicked sweets/desserts section. Kind and not try-hards. I was taken aback a few times at their generosity. Looking forward to making this the default place to bring visiting friends/family.
This place is a gem! The food was delicious! We got the crab salad and the apple burger, so good! The truffles and cheesecake just right! Cappuccino perfect! The service was awesome, never had to wait long. 10 out of 10!
The staff was wonderful, felt like I was amongst friends and family and the food was amazing. My most favorite place to eat in Montgomery.
Absolutely phenomenal! We went here with a group of 7. I got the chicken wrap with apple butter on it and OH MY GOD was is good! We also got the cheese curds and truffle fries as apps which were amazing!!! I’ve always walked by this place not thinking much of it but I am so happy we stopped in. Will 100% be returning! The price was very reasonable as compared to the quality of the food. Staff was very polite, personal, and on top of the game! P.S. take a look at the drink menu you’ll get a good laugh! Highly recommended location!
Love the table! Best burgers in a 1,000 mile radius. I fell in love with the burgers at first bite. Brunch is amazing! And we had my sister’s baby shower here and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect event. Hands down recommend The Table to everyone.
¡Súper acogedor, comida deliciosa y lattes exquisitos! Un lugar genial en Montgomery.
The crab cake sandwich was tasty. Their chocolates are delicious.
Food is very good. Pricey. Would expect cloth napkins or a higher quality paper.
Nice atmosphere. Menu is basic enough for picky eaters yet enough for people looking for something different and full of taste. I’ve had lunch here twice and enjoyed it. Great service and was in and out in good time.
Food was great how ever it was a small menu due to the fact I was attending a wedding. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was good. Overall the experience was great and I will go back to experience the full menus options.
The food was OK (nothing to rave about). But the desserts were great. Overall, it was a good experience. However, the food is pricey for what you get. I figured around 40% above normal. We had lunch (wraps, drinks, dessert) for two and paid ($109.). The bill, in my opinion, should have been around $70.
Food is always a cut above and the service excellent. There are a number of great and creative entrees, but their burgers are amazing. To be clear, this is not a burger place. These are gourmet and mouthwatering. The list of wines, by the glass or bottle, is well chosen and concise The room is comfortable and well lit, not too bright and not to dim. There is plenty of parking in their own lot or on the street. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family.
Some of the best burgers in the area. They always seem under staffed and several times when we went there they were closed for various reasons with no warning on their website. If you order a burger and fries, sometimes they will give you a burger, side salad and the fries on the side for an additional $7.00. It's sneaky and it's happened more than once. I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened too. They should ask the consumer if they want the fries separately as well as the side salad. Also, the waiter should write down the orders instead of relying on his memory to avoid confusion.
There was no wait staff. The proprietors were doing it all. I felt slightly ignored. Drinks were tasty but expensive. Dinner was pricy for what was plated. I had higher expectations for this restaurant.
Overrated. The food is good, but it's overpriced. Took a half hour to get our check after we requested it. Cost twice as much as other good restaurants.
Nicely decorated beautiful venue. The food is delicious. We went there for brunch, and there were not many people there. There was only one waitress. Shortly after we arrive the restaurant started to get full. We wanted to have more coffee, but we never received attention from the waitress as she was overwhelmed. There were tables available, but people weren't being seated as it would have been too much for 1 waitress to handle. After a long wait, I had to go get our waitress to cash us out. This restaurant would have easily gotten a 5 had it not been for the bad staffing management. The waitress was doing all she could. It was not her fault.
The atmosphere of The Table is really inviting. Everything feels clean and put-together. There's a lot of seating, which is spaced out nicely for groups. However, our server seemed like they wanted to rush us for closing at 3:00 PM (they open again at 5:00 PM for dinner). The food was alright. We got National Burgers and subbed veggie burgers for an extra dollar each. The server didn't know what they were made out of though, which was concerning because we're paying extra for something when we really didn't know how fresh it was going to be. We also shared Hawaiian poutine, which was expensive for being just a batch of fries with a little dressing and some cheese. The cocktails came in high ball glasses with strippers on them. I wasn't expecting that, so it kinda threw me off. Take it for what you will. I'd recommend just checking the place out, but might not return myself, just because the price doesn't match the quality.
The food was just OK. Got The Table burger with the fries. The fries were good but the burger was absolutely flavorless. I don't think they put any salt or pepper on the burger at all before cooking it. The atmosphere was nice. Very clean inside and has a good vibe. Also the food came out quickly which was a plus. Overall I probably wouldn't bother to go back. The food just wasn't good enough to justify the price. That being said we only tried the one item, maybe the breakfast stuff is better?
Food was great and the Service was wonderful….but….Good luck trying to actually find it open for business when you go. It’s like a crapshoot if it’s open or not. Quit trying to go as it is never open when it says it is.
honestly not that impressed. i’ve come here 2 times for takeout and both times i’ve been a bit disappointed granted, i did get takeout, so maybe eating inside is better. the eggplant wrap was Ok. not bad but not what i thought the table would serve up. and for the love of god, if it comes with a side salad, make it a salad. not just a pile of lettuce. give me some cucumber or carrots or something. i’m not a bunny for christ’s sake. anyways i won’t be back. i’m unimpressed
Not what I expected, Raspberry Red Hot calamari looked like something from Sonic, Frozen fast food, along with Crispy Gnocchi, Frozen fast food also. Truffle Sirloin Steak was out of this world 5 stars...
I’m not one to usually bother leaving poor reviews because I often get over an unfortunate interaction quickly. However, that is not the case with my experience with The Table. The unfortunate interaction happened last week and I am still very bothered by how everything unfolded. Forgive me in advance for a rather long account. My husband and I made dinner reservations for Feb 4, the day of an ice storm. I wasn’t sure if the restaurant would be open even though it looked like the ice/snow would be done by the evening. I called the restaurant 3 times (no answer; message says “we are either busy with a customer or out of the kitchen,” nothing clear about being closed), checked their website and Facebook (they posted back on Jan 29 stating they’d be open even though there was snow that day leading me to believe they’d also post something on Feb 4 due to weather), and checked my email regularly as I made the reservation through email so perhaps they would’ve contacted me via that platform. But none of those mediums provided any info as to whether or not The Table was open. We don’t live far from The Table and since 1) the roads weren’t terrible and 2) we had no reason to believe the restaurant would be closed, we drove there only to find that, indeed, they were closed. Fortunately, there was the Wildfire Grill across the street that was serving dinner so at least we were able to still go out to eat. When we got home, I emailed The Table to tell them I was upset that nothing was done to inform their patrons they’d be closed, especially when I had made a reservation. Even though I was upset, the real reason why I’m leaving this review is due to the owner’s email response to me. In my initial email, I told him I was upset to find the restaurant was not more proactive in communicating with their patrons that they were going to be closed. Here was his response (copy and pasted): “I’m so sorry you made the trip and we weren’t there. We had every intention of opening today but after 4 hours of scraping ice from our drive way, there was just no way for us to get in. Our road still hasn’t been salted. Unfortunatly, I don’t have access to the reservation book remotely. I assumed that with the conditions of the roads, everyone would stay home this evening. Again I’m very sorry you made a decision to make the trip even after the phone was not answered after three atemps. If you feel it necessary to leave a bad review due to inclement weather that is out of our control, please feel free.” What bothered me about this response was that he passively suggested it was our fault for choosing to come even though he “assumed everyone would stay home.” Additionally, him saying we made the trip “even after the phone was not answered after three attempts” made me feel like I was simply an idiot. Sure, he is entitled to his opinion, but as a business owner who should be ensuring his customers are well taken care of, I didn’t feel that was the case here at all. He took no responsibility and made no attempt to try and make it right by even offering to make us a new reservation. I responded to his email saying that a bad review would not be made due to bad weather but to his lack of effort in not only communicating with his customers but also in not taking any responsibility in the matter. I also shared my disappointment in him not offering to make us a new reservation. I never received a response from him. We were looking forward to going to The Table as we heard wonderful things about the food and atmosphere, but after being treated so poorly, I don’t feel comfortable giving him any of my business. I hope if there are any issues like this in the future, he is able to be more proactive in communicating about potential closings and caring for those in his community who wish to support his business. What a shame this all was.
Please update your closing time to 2:00. We tried calling ahead at 1:00 to confirm you were open and got a computer ..arrived at 1:40 to be told you were closing at 2:00.. the gentleman said 3:00 is for when you have events?? We drove far out of the way..
Very disappointed with this restaurant tried to make reservations for 8 people for 1:00 they refused to take us because they closed at 2:30. Really that’s an hour and a half before closing and they refused to take customers WOWI guess they don’t want customers!!!. When I worked for a restaurant when you said you were open until 2:30 that met you served until that time. Too bad will never know how the food is because most of us will never go now.
Subpar, to say the least! The food was terrible! My burger was torched! All I tasted was grill char! The service girl had an attitude and was unprofessional. The man or maybe the owner acted really creepy and standoffish. The business hours here are really strange also. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I regret tipping! 🤮
So my family and I had plans to come here for brunch and celebration of a birthday. The website says they open at 10, but the door was still locked and multiple other couples waiting to get in. In the meantime, we’re checking the website and there is no notice of anything on there other than they were supposed to be open. While we’re standing in front of the door. A worker slapped a closed for a private event sign on the door, wouldn’t even come out and apologize or explain. So far, so not so good. Not very impressed with their organizational methods.
