Zeke's Smoke House

I have seen this place many times and regrettably never stopped in until now. This place is AMAZING!!! Service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was great for a nice quick lunch but more importantly the food was so so good. Chicken California or California Chicken was delicious, and my kid got their classic hotdog. She raved about how good it was. We will definitely be back on a regular basis. I'm looking forward to trying some of their oils next. I bought the chili crisp, and man, is it good. I mixed it with mayo and have been putting it on sandwiches and using it as a dip.

Since this place is just up the street from my office I frequent it often. All of the sandwiches are great and I always keep at least one of their quiches on hand at home. If you are a local and haven't been then you need to go!

My husband and I came to have some lunch at Gelsingers Deli. It was amazing loved the entire experience. Abraham made us feel welcomed he was absolutely wonderful. Food and presentation was great as well as atmosphere. Will be coming back. Thank you

Still a Montrose icon. Best burgers in town. Home made and quality meat. Absolutely the only place around for quality meats. Roasts, ribs, smoked meats etc. Great deli sandwiches and sides. And don't miss the home made balsamic vinegars all different infused flavors.

Delicious food. Great sandwichesmade on site with fresh breads. Seating was good. They sell a multitude of delicious vinegars. A great experience in Montrose, just a short way from Pasadena. Very helpful service.

I had no idea this place even existed before today, but boy howdy do they prep a good tasting meal. The chili cheese fries even had a touch of 'heat' to them which was a nice surprise. Friendly service to boot. A+ thank you.

The spicy jack burger was not bad at all.. Coleslaw was ok. Pretty small in portion.. The fries and onion rings were mediocre.. But the burger was good.

Excellent selection of house curated meats and products. 30 day dry aged beef. Friendly staff. Great local find.

Wow amazing Pastrami sandwich. Incredible onion rings battered and fried in house. California Chicken was also amazing. Its a deli with a few tables nothing fancy but super friendly and super clean.

Great non-chain local shop with quality food. Price-point is about 30% higher than the Carl's Jr. next door, but you get way more than 30% in quality and value. And you deserve a bit better than a 'cheap meal,' no? Gelsinger's has sizable portions, no touch-screen ordering, no pre-made cooking, and no high-processed food. IMO, the sandwiches and salads are superior to Shriner's and that's saying something. Top-Tip - Parking is usually available outside the shop, but the meters only accept coins and a complex app payment.

I had a fantastic grilled cheese with bacon and a side of fries. The only disappointment was that no coffee was served in this establishment. There is plenty of olive oil to choose from but a little early for that!

Never been here but was craving a sandwich and my favorite place was closed. I ordered a hot pastrami which comes on a French role but I asked for it on rye. The guy taking my order said “you want a hot pastrami dip on rye? I strongly suggest against it but ok”. I said yeah I just like the meat on that bread better. What I received was a cold pastrami, no cheese or mustard. 3 stars because the sandwich was good, even though it was the exact opposite of what I asked for, but wow was that guy rude as hell.
