Makis Pinos Morelia Reviews
This business has been around for years and is still just as good.
One of the best places to eat Makis in Morelia, even though Yoshoku opened nearby, these are still superior.
The makis are very small in my opinion, but very tasty, although they seemed a bit pricey. They sell pokis, which is great, since I can't find them in many places.
Unfortunately, you can't add soy sauce and chilies to your liking. They're very measured. They don't have air conditioning or fans, and it's very hot. They must do something because there were a lot of flies, and it's disgusting and I fear illness. The staff's attention and work were excellent. I give them an 11.
The food is very delicious, it has never disappointed me. The place is not ugly, but they almost always have the lights off and you lose a lot of view.
Don't have high expectations, just try the soy sauce and you'll get an idea that you'll only be eating to stave off hunger.
Orders take quite a while, even for takeout. The food is quite tasty, but sometimes they don't cut the rolls properly.
They expanded their space, but the products are now smaller; it's worth going when they have 2-for-1 promotions, otherwise, I don't think the price is that good. They only accept cash and don't provide receipts. If you go by car, parking is a problem; they don't have a designated parking area, and the street is always congested.
It's close to me, but I'm getting more and more disappointed. The staff are inattentive; they prefer watching videos or chatting amongst themselves to serving customers, and they limit the amount of soy sauce.
The place is decent, neither expensive nor cheap, it's just right. They have a 2-for-1 maki deal, but the food quality is really bad.
The service was very slow, which raised my expectations. However, the pasta I was served seemed like it came from Maruchan instant noodles—cold, and the portions were tiny. My companion shared the same opinion. The place hasn't been maintained, and a table that had been used before us remained dirty until we left. They do wear masks, and there's considerable space between tables.
I called the business to find out if they offered home delivery, to which they told me they did, I placed my order and asked how much it would be so I could have the money ready to pay, which they told me would be $285. When the delivery man arrived (1 hour and 20 minutes after placing my order) he charged me $370. They do not offer home delivery, they send it via Uber and they never mentioned the home delivery service separately. $90 for shipping seemed excessive to me. I will not buy anything from this establishment again.
Super bad. There's a person who serves you whose hair is always dirty and who doesn't wear a mask. Also, they only send you home whenever they want and don't follow instructions.
It's better to go somewhere else. The sauces aren't good, and the soy sauce is more water than sauce. Bad service, they wanted to overcharge us. They also serve you in disposable cups, even if you don't want to take out.
They don't taste good, and the food quality is poor. I don't recommend it. The place is run down; the tables, chairs, and lighting need maintenance. I don't recommend it.
They no longer put in the ingredients they supposedly have; the makis are mostly rice, and there were only two salmon rolls out of the whole maki. The service has really gone downhill.
They used to be a two-for-one option, but now they're not even worth it. The makis are so-so, but their dressings are terrible: the "Tampico" is pure mayonnaise, and the soy sauce is massively reduced.
