Fantastic tasting dinner. Friendly staff and fair price for the excellent service.
I had a dinner on Saturday with my family and we had delicious pizzas (they display a large variety of food, don't you worry) along with two types of appetizers in a welcoming atmosphere. Service was flawless. I strongly suggest that you come and check yourself if I tell the truth.
Restaurant located in a charming historic residence. Frescoed rooms can accommodate private groups. Excellent lunch, with all courses beautifully cooked and presented, and a delicious dessert prepared on-site. Very friendly and professional staff and owners. Price in line with what's offered.
This restaurant is definitely not for everyone, as the prices are a bit high, but I have to say it's a wonderful place: sublime food prepared with the highest quality ingredients and an excellent wine cellar. What can I say... stop by, it's definitely worth it. Kudos to all the staff!
Location: beautiful and elegant. Service: professional and very kind waiters. Food/pizza: excellent food, excellent pizza. Price: perhaps a little expensive, but you pay for the quality. I spent a pleasant evening with friends... We left the restaurant very satisfied and will definitely return.
Nestled in a splendid, recently renovated piazza, lies Villa Salina. A truly unforgettable culinary experience. Dishes are elegantly presented, captivating, and captivate the palate before the palate. Then, of course, the flavors arrive. It's an experience where no single ingredient dominates, but rather a harmony that takes the diner on a journey to the pinnacle of taste, without any sudden turns to distract attention. The slow-cooked egg on a bed of raschera cheese is remarkable. The soft center of the yolk embraces the raschera cheese, softening its impact without being overwhelming. The veal cheek deserves special mention, so light it's almost velvety, reassured by its tenderness, almost a breath of meat that melts on the tongue, exploding with a balanced flavor that leaves you speechless. The bread is superb, soft and delicate, as are the pizza squares, which arrive warm, accompanying the courses without overcrowding the tasting areas. If you pass by, or even if you don't, go there. A stop is recommended. You'll definitely want to come back.
Amazing food. Great taste, and lot of choice. Excellent service.

Ottima cucina , servizio curato, locali spaziosi ben arredati.
We returned to this place after years, where we celebrated our baptism and birthday. The location was beautiful and the food was always excellent. However, I must say that the service was very disappointing. The wait was too long and the staff was inattentive to our requests. It's a shame because we've always recommended it to friends and family, but from now on, I don't think we'll do it again.
I went there this evening for the first time on the Feast of the Assumption, August 14, 2018, and we even managed to see the fireworks from the restaurant's garden. The pizza was decent, and there was a good selection of homemade desserts... or so they say. The staff were very kind and attentive. Overall, a great evening.
Good food and a lovely atmosphere, but the service needs a complete overhaul. It was a birthday event planned months ago, and they were completely disorganized in managing the menu and cake selection. You talk to different people every time, never a single competent person. There's no one responsible for these matters. Eventually, they write things down, but then they have to repeat them countless times, never fully understanding the situation because someone always asks for them. The ace for the cake had been sent to them via WhatsApp (because they don't read emails) multiple times, and in the end, they asked me for it that same evening. After the first appetizer, the wines hadn't yet been brought to the table. I had to ask. My nephew was supposed to have a pre-arranged children's menu... the adults were finishing their third appetizer, and he still hadn't had his pasta, and the steak never arrived. The waiters in our dining room were unprofessional. I had arranged a change to an appetizer for one person with a cheese intolerance a month in advance, but it never happened. The birthday cake was really ugly, aesthetically speaking. In fact, I only have a few photos, and they weren't taken by me. It's a shame, because I would have liked to have a memory of this birthday and take a photo with the cake... and the number candles thrown in a corner where you couldn't even see them. The taste was also nothing special, and even on this occasion, the Moscato I chose at the table was brought after I went to say we were almost out of cake and the Moscato hadn't been served yet. My guests noticed I was a bit nervous. It's a shame, because the venue is really nice, but without coordination, disorganization reigns supreme. Oh, and I forgot... the Chef, who wants to be the only point of contact every time I go to make arrangements, never showed up, even when the appointment was made with him. He delegates others who say things and make arrangements that he doesn't agree with.
Maybe it wasn't the right evening; we didn't find any particular quality in the food or wine. The service matched the food; the girls did what they could with what they had.
I'll start by saying that upon entering, you're very impressed with the place. Very well-kept, very chic, everyone is very kind and helpful. Overall, the dinner was good quality, but the ending was very disappointing. When it came time to choose dessert, we were told the kitchen couldn't prepare it due to overwork. However, upon leaving, I noticed that the place was more than half empty. A question naturally arises: if it had been full, would they have been able to serve us the other courses? A bit disorganized, in my opinion. When it came to the bill, I didn't want to start a fuss, even though I was asked if everything was okay. Rating: Shocked.
Very disappointing... this was the second Christmas lunch I've been there, but unfortunately also the last... the food was good overall, except for the cheek, which they could have skipped given that there are other, more premium cuts of meat. The service wasn't Michelin-starred, nor was it pizzeria-quality... the waiters treated me like I was their sister, with no courtesy whatsoever, and when we asked for a premium rum, we were told it was three times expensive, as if we were the last of the last... the thing that made me most angry was when we paid, they even asked for cents... Never again!!!
Returning after three years for a dinner for two with a reservation, unfortunately, we found nothing of our previous experience. Starting with the unprofessional welcome, the 50-minute wait after ordering two appetizers, and only after asking if there were any problems with our order were we told there were kitchen issues due to the overcrowding!!! The two main courses arrived too quickly to be of any quality, and the price was not appropriate. The coffee was well-made. The inexperienced waiters were left without guidance in the dining room.
