A Morimondo ogni tanto, con mia moglie, un giretto lo si fa volentieri, ma non ci siamo mai fermati a mangiare. Oggi, 12 agosto, abbiamo deciso di pranzare a La Grangia per festeggiare l'inizio delle ferie. Consultando i prezzi esposti all'esterno del locale li abbiamo considerati corretti e, SOPRATTUTTO, per i risotti NON è obbligatorio per 2 persone e questo aspetto che ci ha convinti ad entrare. Io ho preso un risotto giallo con osso buco. Eccezionale. Mia moglie ha scelto la tagliata con scaglie di lodigiano e contorno. Tenera e gustosa. Due bottiglie d'acqua e un caffè. Un aspetto che mi è piaciuto è stato quello di mangiare esternamente sotto il portico di quella che doveva essere una stalla, anni fa. Internamente il locale si presenta arredato in modo personalizzato e gradevole. Al momento del conto una piacevole sorpresa: prezzo singola acqua e caffè a 1 euro ma, soprattutto, niente coperto. Significa che si paga il prezzo esposto e questo trattamento NON è trattamento abituale. Personale cortese e disponibile. La scritta sulla schiena della maglietta dei camerieri dice esattamente l'opposto di ciò sono... Da leggere. A questo punto inutile dire che la nostra esperienza a La Grancia è stata più che positiva e stiamo già pensando di organizzare una serata con amici. Grazie e arrivederci.

Agnolotti e pizzoccheri eccezionali. Cucina casalinga, qualità e cortesia. Conviene prenotare anche se noi martedì a pranzo abbiamo trovato posto (penultimo tavolo!). Birre artigianali e vini della zona.

L'abbiamo scoperto per caso 2 anni fa e da allora torniamo abitualmente per ogni occasione e se non c'è la creiamo. Marcello e il suo socio, oltre che tutti gli altri componenti lo staff sono fantastici. Li adoro.... p.s. stasera festeggio l'anniversario e loro a sorpresa mi hanno fatto trovare un tavolo fantastico! Sono tornata per festeggiare l'anniversario. Una goduria un boccone dopo l'altro! Vi invito a provare vivamente, le prole non bastano! Sono tornata, sono ritornata e tornata ancora. Se devo festeggiare qualcosa per me esiste solo la Grancia!

An excellent discovery in Morimondo Passing through the area on a business trip with the Horidea company, whose factory (which I highly recommend) is located nearby, I had the opportunity to have lunch at La Grancia restaurant in the summer of August 2025, and it was a truly delightful experience. I was accompanied by Corrado and Marco, who introduced me to this magnificent place. I tasted an absolutely exceptional risotto all'ossobuco, undoubtedly one of the best I've ever eaten: flavorful, perfectly balanced, and rich in flavor. Also noteworthy is the quality of the wine, truly exceptional, which paired impeccably with the meal. And let's not forget the cremino 😋 The setting is simply magnificent, in the heart of the village of Morimondo, a place rich in history and culture that makes the meal even more special. It's also worth noting that the owner speaks some French, a welcome addition for any French-speaking traveler looking to head to Milan and enjoy a pleasant getaway in this small village, not far from the city. An excellent restaurant located in the ancient Cistercian court of Morimondo (a few kilometers from Milan). This restaurant serves primarily traditional Lombard cuisine. One of the best dishes is the risotto alla Milanese with ossobuco, a masterfully executed dish, personally the best I've ever tasted!! This time we wanted to try other dishes, and I must say they lived up to our expectations. I'm talking about a cheese appetizer accompanied by honey, pear jam, and sweet and sour onion. We then ordered two main courses: a sliced ​​beef steak with porcini mushrooms and a chicken supreme with paprika. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and made with excellent ingredients. This restaurant confirms itself as an excellent destination for enjoying excellent cuisine at a price commensurate with the quality of the ingredients and the service. This restaurant also offers a wide and excellent selection of craft beers. Reservations are not required during the week, but are strongly recommended on weekends due to the large crowds. Highly recommended.

A pleasant surprise A rustic yet very well-kept restaurant, with well-spaced tables, classic tablecloths, and a young, kind, and friendly staff. The dishes are truly well-made and beautifully presented, the ingredients are top-notch, and so is the charcuterie board, where the chef has nothing to do. The appetizers are excellent, with the fried fish and frog platter, a traditional classic. The risotto with ossobuco was delicious, with just the right amount of creaminess (perhaps I would have cooked the rice for another 2 minutes, but that's subjective), another classic. The shank was well-made, with the meat melting in the mouth, the bone-in cutlet was good, and the millefeuille was a feast. The wine list is good, with bottles that pair well with the dishes, but never too demanding. Good value for money, and the portions are truly generous. Overall, a good restaurant to return to. Reservations are essential.
