This is THE place for nutritious food. A true gem in the Charleston area. The owners are super knowledgeable and very helpful. This is the only place where I can find quality, raw milk in the area. They always have foods and products from local companies as well. Top notch and highly recommend!

We recently moved to Charleston and we’re so excited to come across Local Jo’s Natural Foods. It has the most top of the line, hard to get health foods. Jo is really cool too! Definitely going to be regulars at this shop👍💗

I have nothing but excellent things to say about this business. Everything I've ever purchased has been effective with noticeable results. I have struggled with sinus blockage rhinitis(hay fever) for several years now to where it’s really affected my sleep. The aloe nasal spray I purchased has cleared everything out in just 2 weeks of constant usage daily!!! Very knowledgeable about health, I consider them a “go to” for advice and feel I’m never led astray. Keep it up you guys rock!

Updated today 9-24-24 So I stand by everything I said and then some. The team there brings in new products all the time. It is an incredible source for locally raised meats, eggs, dairy, bread, etc. Especially now that the markets have all slowed down (this time of year) . One of my favorite farms Chucktown Acres, who has a regenerative farm has his products there. There is a large array of quality CBD and pathogen products that I love. Also every natural supplement you can imagine. The middle aisles are packed full of teas, spices, snacks, cereals, honey, etc. All personally tested by the owner and she can speak to all of their qualities. First, the owners are amazing. I have gotten to know Jo and Chad very well. Joanne is super passionate about health, food, local and all things related. She has personally used or tried everything she carries and can answer any questions you may have. The shelves are stocked full of all kinds of natural supplements, vitamins, foods, spices, teas, CBD and Hemp products, Non alcoholic drinks of all kinds and more. I love that I can go there and expect to find things l personally use all the time and also get turned on to new products. They carry local meat, poultry, eggs and lots of amazing dairy and from all over too. A true gem in Charleston!!!!!!

The customer service is why I won’t return. The store was clean and had variety but I could not get help despite seeking and seeing others helped. Could have been a frequent buyer. You must have enough customers if new ones are a burden. Spent close to a hundred on my first and only trip to see what was offered. Congrats on locally owning and servicing. I won’t be back, despite being a local, but again, I don’t think that’s a concern. So anyone interested: make sure you look like people they will want to help.

The staff is all SUPER friendly and welcoming and they carry a great selection! A few of our family favorites are the raw milk, fresh sourdough, and chicken salad. Give it a try!

They carry Burlap and Barrel single origin, uncut spices as well- which I used to have to order online and way too much at a time, and even then it was worth it. Happy to have a local supplier now. Looking forward to buying from them again soon.

Just a heads up: Great locally sourced products and the store is clean. However, it's incredibly expensive. A simple Google search of these local products will show them available nearby from 40-60% cheaper. Raw milk is $16 a gallon, compared to the farm itself selling it online for $8.
