Good food and reasonable portion sizes. Will come back.
Excellent authentic Mexican/Salvadoran food with super fresh tortillas and carefully put together plates and traditional items. Highly recommended local spot for real Mexican food in a laid back and casual environment. We were initially skeptical from the outside because it’s tucked into a small shopping outlet and a little hard to find. However, with most Taquerias- looks are deceiving! This was an excellent stop with super friendly staff, amazing food, and just a good local vibe. They have outdoor seating, a few tables inside, they have beer, restrooms, and you pay at the counter with cash or credit card. Definitely worth the stop here!
We got here on a Sunday noon and they sold out of Menudo unfortunately. We got the birria tacos, chicken tamales, and pupusas instead. The tamales was wrapped in banana leaf which was new but it was the best tamale I’ve had! The only tamales ive had were from the Walmart parking lot, which are still pretty good by the way. Please try this place out they have amazing Salvadorian and Mexican cuisine available.
This restaurant is tucked away in the corner of an old shopping plaza but don’t let that fool you! Friendly and welcoming service. They have traditional El Salvadoran food along with typical Mexican dishes. We ordered the regular and special pupusas and they were freshly made and very good. We also ordered the carne dinner place and it was good! We will be back.
Everything was delicious. I am feeling sick and was carving for some soup. I tried the Beef Soup and my sould came back to my body. So dam good! Hubby got the taco plate and also liked it. Nice service and music. It has this machine where you can pick any song you wanna listen too. Highly recomended place.
I did takeout with this place and the food was pretty good. The Papusas were big and nice, the portions were large and tasty. The best item for me was the fried bananas and cream.
Saturday afternoon, the place was packed. The food was very good. I had the pupusas with a side of beans and rice. All very very good. The shrimp and seafood also excellent.
Visited for the first time; the food was mediocre. However, there was no air conditioning, making it unbearable to sit inside for more than ten minutes.
We ordered 2 different items off the menu so maybe there are better dishes that we haven't tried, but what we had was just ok. One thing we ordered was pupusas. I know that pupusas can be time consuming, but even for other dishes they seem to take a very long time. I think it took at least 40 minutes to get our food. Even before that, to order we had to wait like 15-20 minutes.
Ordered take out and it took a long time for couple of tacos and we had to wait over an hour for our food to be picked up after we called. I also tried calling multiple times and no one answered the phones. Unfortunately I was disappointed. :(
Food and service were ok. Extensive menu but too bad the person taking our order didn't speak much English. The papusa was good but the sauces on the other orders tasted canned. I was also turned off by the plastic utensils that came with dining in and I also ordered a drink called sangria which was a gross flavored soda, mostly sugar water and chemicals, I had to throw it away. I also wasn't sure if the beans were made fresh or from a can. Other reviews are better but I was disappointed and was concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant.
The women that work here will purposefully mess up your food if you complain. I order the same vegetarian tostadas every day. They now barely scrape a thin layer of beans on the taco shell and certainly talk about me every time I come in. It’s very unprofessional and maybe a cultural thing. Of course I know it’s retaliation because there’s a big difference in the taste and I remove all the lettuce to find hardly anything but a shell. Thank you for the lettuce tostada!
