Exelente lugar
Almost an hour for tacos & Hamburger. No coffee refills. Expensive.
Very good place to eat. Excellent service!
One of the famed locals hangout spots, great service, great food and it is a total family feeling environment. Specials every day of the week that they are open and often host to events like pig roasts and fishing tournaments. Great people!
Fun place to eat, drink, play pool and be happy! Reasonable prices too!
Ice cold cerveza good food (limited menu) and great prices!
A favorite hangout...special dinners served up Monday through Friday. Pool table is free and a full bar too.
Excellent food! Now serving breakfasts starting at 7am till noon. Usually about 3 pm they open up the bar and then a bit later they serve dinners. They have a special each day. Prices are very reasonable. 100 pesos or less for most meals.
Lupe and Sylvia are the cooks and boy can they! During summertime they are open on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays only, from about 4 until the place is empty. The drinks are generous as are the served portions. The Chile Rellenos are to die for! Sandra and Raymundo are gracious hosts who will fill your orders with a smile.
How could you not like Jungle Jim's?!? Good food, good beer, and great location.
El lugar es pintoresco frente a la Laguna la gente atiende muy cortés y amable; sin embargo la comida no muy buena el ambiente agradable y tranquilo.
A friendly neighborhood spot to grab a quick bite and drink.
Love Thursday night Clili Rellenos and their ribs on Friday are outstanding! Play 31 with the girls on Wednesdays. Quite a place!!!
A neighborhood bar and restaurant located along the Mulege River. Family owned, good food and friendly people.
I stayed a few blocks away recently and wanted a restaurant that I could walk to easily. I had eaten there before in 2022. While the food was decent, the prices were high and there are better restaurants a short ride away. 130 pesos for a small scoop of guacamole with chips- not enough to share 180 pesos for 2 fish tacos. These are LA prices! Up the street at Sr Geckos I can get twice as much food for 25% less It’s a shame
Muy buen lugar para disfrutar de un buen servicio de sus empleados excelentes sus comidas
Locally raised beef ribs (skinny & not best flavor) are $400 pesos a plate here - a ridiculous mark-up, & prices on everything have raised far higher than cost of living will justify. The food is fine, but pricey for local fare. They've been spoiled by the resident expats whose homes surround the place & are here 4 times a week, rather than cook or drive for food. These people are the bread and butter of Jungla & many have notable attitudes towards strangers in their midst. If you're on vacation, it's a pretty location. Inside, Concrete floors plastic tables, tin roof. There's no sound absorption & it's EXTREMELY echoey. If just a few tables are occupied, you have to shout to hear yourself. To enjoy the best of this place, ask to pull your table outside on the grass. Nice place to have a beer by the estuary, but the only Mexican customers are the family & tourists staying in the local BnB's. Convenience has made a success of Jungla. If that's not your top priority, you could probably do better.
Alot of Gringos I wasn't comfortable at all I didn't like the surroundings I didn't like it at all
Too expensive, no atmosphere. Not impressed
The staff is okay but the Gringos that hang out there are all full of their own ego I do not recommend it to nobody
Se demoró bastante la comida 😴, la verdad no regreso a este lugar 😬.
