Mountain Pizza! This place was great. Family and I were visiting the Murphy's area and found this spot. Went there to grab dinner about 6. A lot of teenagers work there but they were all respectful and helpful. Had the all meat pizza and got to say it was very good. Only thing is next time will ask for it well done. Crust was good, sauce has good flavor and the meats seemed quality. Definitely going back when we visit! Thanks 😊

Best food!! Piesalad is amazing!!! Calzones are amazing!! This pizza is the best! My husband and I love pizza and we love to try new places around the area. This place blew us away. We actually can't get enough! We are definitely addicted and go at least one a week! Lol everything you try, you will love. Do you like pesto? Try the chicken pesto pizza! Add some sun dried tomatoes and bacon! Prepare for the best pizza you have ever had!!

We came in after they had closed and they still made our family a pizza! Everyone else in town had turned us down. We were so grateful for their customer service and excellent pizza! The best in town!

Good pizza! We ordered a small 5 cheese bread sticks with pesto dip and a Medium half margarita and half Al Pastor pozza- though they were out of Al Pastor meat, we subbed in prosciutto and bacon. It was great - the crust was perfect and everything was cooked. For two of us it was more than enough. We ate half of everything and took the rest back home with us. Friendly service and the place was clean. Most of the staff used masks and I saw them washing their hands frequently. They offer to go and inside dinning options. We are out on the table outside near the store.

Tasty pizzas and great prices. The smoothies were refreshing. The place was quite interesting with the giant black board for kids to showcase their drawing, painting, wall art skills. Staff was super friendly.

My friend and I stopped here after an exhausting day at Big Trees State Park - we were both starving. Since I'm gluten free, I was thrilled that they offered a gluten free and cauliflower crust! I decided on the Thai Chicken pizza - not normally a combination I'd have tried, but it sounded really good... Our food arrived quickly (we ordered 2 pizzas since my friend didn't want to take a chance that the cauliflower crust wasn't up to her standards, lol), and we dug in... I should mention that I'm relatively picky about my pizza, as I usually go only to my favorite place back in Virginia, and am not a fan of most pizza place's crust in general. This pizza was SO GOOD!! Honestly it was the 2nd best pizza that I've ever had (right underneath my fav place back east...) - and another great experience there might make Murphys my new favorite since I enjoyed it so much. I ended up eating all but 1 piece of pizza, which I took home and found out it was almost as good as leftover and cold the next morning. So glad we stopped there - YUM!

We stopped by here after an amazing tour of the Mercer Caverns. The wife and I shared the daily special which was sausage, ricotta, green onion, and Hippy Spice. The pizza was great. The crust is crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Our kids had the half cheese, half black olive. Even the kids who wasn't hungry ate 2 slices. The bonus was the giant blackboard wall that the kids could all draw on while we waited for our fresh cooked pies.

As somebody that is very picky with vegan products, this vegan Margherita Pizza was absolutely delicious.

UPDATE: july 2022: Well things have changed for the much better at Murphys Pizza. My review is now 4 stars not 1: why? Have now gone back 6 times and I must say it is not the same attitude or Pizza, the staff is friendly and aware of YOU, and the Pizza is really really good. Great job Murphys Pizza in changing for the better. This is now a definate yes. as you can tell burnt crust and an hour wait with no one in the place. no one in this place should say it all on a saturday evening. pass it by

We were pleasantly surprised during our first visit last night. We called ahead and were told there was a bit of a wait (about an hour), so we decided to explore the area while waiting. When we returned, our order was ready right on time. The pizza was fantastic—no flop, haha! We tried the pepperoni and The Big "R," and both were amazing. We’re definitely coming back for more!

Best pizza around! Only complaint is the hard uncomfortable chairs. Maybe I'm just too picky 🤷

We were pleasantly surprised during our first visit last night. We called ahead and were told there was a bit of a wait (about an hour), so we decided to explore the area while waiting. When we returned, our order was ready right on time. The pizza was fantastic—no flop, haha! We tried the pepperoni and The Big "R," and both were amazing. We’re definitely coming back for more!

Good pizza in the turn of Murphy. It was our first time there. I got the pizza-salad thing. It was a car said in pizza crust. It was yummy. There is an arcade the boys enjoyed, but the games are old and cost 50 cents and a dollar. Too much in my mind. We will go again when in town!

Had the margarita pizza and caeser salad. I really enjoyed the balsamic glaze. The crust was okay but not my favorite. Caeser salad yummy. They have a lot of different options for pizza. The atmosphere I gave 3 stars for because it was super loud in there and hard to hear eachother when trying to talk. They have a chalk board for the kids to draw on for the entire back wall. So very family friendly.

We tried a few pies including their garlic cheese with pesto, vegetarian, and chicken. Everything was quite tasty overall. Service was excellent, and staff was always polite and courteous.

Waited an hour for our pizza sitting for 30 mins. Wanted to charge for ranch. Rude service. Edit: will say the pizza was really well made and tasted good. I hear they are one of the few that use quality natural ingredients so knocked it up a star. I hope they continue to prosper but maybe have nicer employees in the future

We had lunch here for my son's 5th birthday. The little arcade was really nice he had a lot of fun. Although the prices were fairly high it was ultimately good pizza. The service was okay.

We love to support local businesses. The pizza wasn’t to our liking, it was expensive, and they charged me over $4.50 for pizza boxes since we ordered to go.

I wasn't impressed. My friend and I waited 40 minutes for 2 mini pizzas. Mine was alright (cheese), but they messed up my friends order. They charged for toppings she didn't get. The only adult on premise was not apologetic (one kid looked about 12 yo). We chose to sit outside because the lights were turned off inside. But this left us next to their kitchen window with the boss watching us. I love small owned business, but I was put off by the atmosphere and attitude.

Just a sad sad place. If your going to have a kid toy arcade for a dollar everything your should make sure they work or refund. Maybe put a sign says out of order I dunno. Pizza was mehhh. All in all just won't ever waste my time or money here again.

After placing an order, I was told that it would be ready in 50 minutes. We have had a busy day as well so understandable. Arrived to pick up the pizza an hour after placing the order and we were told it would be additional 30 minutes. We had planned accordingly to pick it up on time and still had to wait. Quite disappointing. On a daily basis, I recommend guests to restaurants. I hesitate to do so for Murphys Pizza. Not just because of a long wait, but because of the attitude of staff when inquiring as to the length of the wait. As if my business was more of an inconvenience than as a welcomed customer.

Ordered breadsticks and was totally disappointed. Looked like a tortilla with melted cheese as if done in the microwave. And the pizza must've been done with the same thought. Though tasted ok, definitely not worth the money spent. Especially 10 bucks for those breadsticks 😒

We came in with our service dog and the male manager/owner was absolutely rude to us. After having several drinks and three pizzas (which were not that bad)…the owner gentlemen came over to question why we had our service dog. One thing is to politely question us when we first came in or ask what type of service our dog provides…but the owner came over to us after we had been there for 30 minutes, again to rudely question us. He continued to argue with me as we picked up our pizza to leave. He was a very large man and I felt he was trying to bully us. I will never go back to Murphy’s Pizza!

I’ve been eating here for a long time as it is the only decent pizza in the area (not great, but passable). For this reason, I’ve tolerated the rude behavior from whom I assume is the owner? But after last night I will no longer be supporting this business. I was glared at when I got there, made to wait for service for five minutes while I could see that my pizza was out of the oven and waiting to be sliced. I was glared at and not offered a response when I requested to change the channel on the TV (one other occupied table). I was barked at when I ordered a beer they didn’t have (the kid charged me for a beer they didn’t have). I was threatened when I requested to have my food to-go instead and for a refund for the beer, “you haven’t SEEN barking” is what he said when I told him I didn’t appreciate being barked at. The salad I ordered without olives came with extra olives. The poor kids that work there look terrified of the guy. Look, I don’t know what this dude’s problem is, but a pizza place is a service industry, and this one could stand to treat its customers better. Or maybe this guy should refrain from interacting with customers at all. I’ll be sharing my experience with others so they might avoid situations like this in the future. Very rude!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. And I haven’t even received my meal yet. The man who walked up to the register was curt and rude. We asked what wine they offered and he rolled his eyes and waved his arm in the direction of 5 bottles that were hanging on the wall by the counter. I ordered a calzone, which required one modification (no meat), and he stated rudely, as if I was wasting his time, “so you want a vegetarian.” Sir, there was no “Vegetarian” option on the menu so I was happy to just order it w/out the meat… we ordered our food (2 calzones) at 6:00pm. It is now 6:57pm and I just watched him put it in the oven. The couple who ordered immediately after us was JUST NOW told that they didn’t have a particular ingredient. After the man walked around pushing chairs in throughout the empty restaurant. As someone who is just visiting here for the day, I will never return to this establishment. 7:03 and we were just given our food. For which I asked for a to go box because I could not enjoy my meal at this point.

When I asked if I could still order he leaned over the counter to emphasize looking at the clock then proceeded to mansplain to me the procedure for making a pizza and further explain that I would only have 20 minutes to eat. Another no. He also rolled his eyes at my elderly father who was trying to make conversation with him despite being treated like a second class citizen. It was only after he convinced my elderly father to increase the price of the order by ordering bigger sizes of this over rated pizza, that he started to be civil. I’m just curious why this establishment states that they are open until 9 when they refuse to serve people at 8. I don’t know why anyone would want to pay to eat this over priced crap while being treated like trash.

I was visiting the town with some friends we disaire to go eat pizza one of my friends order the food pizza, wings and some 3 cheese pizza she likes we pay like 90 dollars is not about the money, we was sitting and the lady she took the order, came and she said here your 3 cheese pizza we was craving for some food so we star eating the pizza and then I told her was not only cheese was chicken too. Well keep eating then the lady come with the other pizza and she said we have the wrong pizza because the first pizza wasn't for us,so we told her you said was ur pizza and we eat the pizza because we was hungry she told us was her mistake but was ok, then another lady came but we do she was ungry and she told us wow you guys has a wrong pizza for free so we told her we have no idea that pizza was wrong and the first lady told us was her mistake but nothing happened because we can see her face was mad, when we ready to leave I when to ask for a box because we had some pizza left so the lady I think she was the owner or the person in charge she still mad for the mistake about the pizza and she told me of course you have pizza left because we was eat some pizza that was for us. We pay for are food if they make a mistake wasn't are problem and I understand the lady was mad but keep showing and keep telling us about the mistake I think wasn't right plus we was visitors, sorry but if for any reason I going back to the small town I'm going to make sure never eat again on this place.. 😞😞
