Such an amazing place! My friend and I ended up coming here on a weekday for dinner. Had a reservation at 5pm and was seated right away. A little difficult to find parking as the location doesnt offer a wide parking space but we managed to parallel park which was fine! Server was extremely friendly and welcoming. Food came out hot and fairly quickly. Definitely a place to try out as their food tasted amazing! We eneded up getting the spicy rigatoni, the Margherita pizza, and a few other items. Obviously was not able to finish everything but even upon taking it home and eating it once again, taste was still there and very good! Loved the interior and feel of the place. Would definitely come back again. Overall very friendly staff and welcoming vibe!

First time at Fiammé, and it definitely won’t be my last! The food was reasonably priced, and the portions were large. The presentation looks very nice as well. I had the sausage rigatoni which was tasty, and it had a nice spice. The spicy vodka pasta was delectable, and the name wasn’t a lie: it was pretty spicy. Service was good; nothing to complain about there. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and their outdoor seating area was perfect for a summer night. Overall, Fiammé was vibrant, delicious, and I cannot wait to come back!

Wonderful restaurant. Very easy to make reservations and I would recommend making them on the weekends. It is beautifully decorated inside and out. Perfect for dates or family gatherings. Food is delicious. I have finally found a good quality pizza in the area. And it is wood fried so there was no chance of it being bad. Employees were super nice, friendly and attentive. The only downside is the parking. Their outdoor seating area takes all of their parking so only street parking is available, though you might be able to park in the back alley or get the handicap spot that is on the side of the restaurant. Definitely recommend this place.

Shannon was amazing! Food was good, I didn’t personally like the pizza much but my fiancé did! We also got the chicken parm and it was very good. We told Shannon we were trying to get to Cinnaholic before they closed and homegirl started jogging to go get us boxes lol she was awesome, thanks Shannon!

Many vegetarian options for both appetizers and Detroit style pizzas. They can substitute meat for vegetables as you need them. Fireworks pizza was special and it was the best. Our server was great. Very friendly. The outside dining atmosphere was also excellent.

Awesome Detroit style pizza. This restaurant has some, if not the best Detroit style pizza in the Midwest. Fun atmosphere and unique vibe are sure to make for a great lunch or dinner. In the summer they have outdoor seating and plenty of space. The only downside is parking, however there’s side streets and a parking garage not too far from the restaurant. The food is awesome and the service is very friendly. Gluten Free - they have gluten free pizza and dishes that are delicious.

I had the DeLeon and it was perfectly cooked and well topped, so delicious. I also had the espresso martini which was made really well, balanced & delicious. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals all but one indulging in a pizza of their choice. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. We were celebrating a birthday and they willingly brought out a cake that was provided ahead of time, lit the candles and then packaged the left overs for us, very thoughtful! I will revisit Fiamme for sure, now a favorite.

Hands down the best Eggplant Parmesan I've ever had. The Chicken Parmesan is also wonderful. We unknowingly came in just before the kitchen closed, our server Cori was wonderful and did not make us feel rushed at all. The Fiamme Sour is one of the best cocktails I've ever had. Definitely the best Italian restaurant in the Naperville area.

This place is amazing! The service is outstanding and the food is delicious. The zucchini frites were a hit! Fried to perfection. The tiramisu was probably the best I’ve ever had. Will def be coming back here again soon!

Naperville, Illinois Italian restaurant in downtown exceeded our expectations! Perfect deep dish gluten-free pizza in a wood burning oven!l we ordered the one night stand with whopper ricotta, caesar salad and gluten-free penne in a spicy sauce. Great service too!

I was treated to a romantic dinner on a Tuesday night in an outdoor hut that was beautifully lit. The weather was about 25 and blowing snow and we were dry as a bone in no wind, and it was only a bit chilly. Andrew was our server and I hope management knows he's fantastic. Super pleasant, hard working and fast, and knew the menu. We ordered a pineapple mule and a cranberry elderberry cocktail, calamari, bacon marmalade pizza, braised short rib ravioli, and the chocolate lava cake. The drinks were tasty - the elderberry cocktail was slightly syrupy but still good. The calamari was perfect - served with arugula and a barely sweet lemon vinaigrette. It was balanced, breaded and fried perfectly with no n chewiness. The pizza was also wonderful - the spicy soppresata oil offset the sweet bacon marmalde. Crust was perfect. It may be a touch too sweet for some tastes but otherwise excellent. The ravioli were the best part of the night. The braised short rib was delicious and the ravioli was perfectly al dente, and the vodka sauce was smooth and parmesanly delicious. The lava cake was good, but not truly special. We had wanted the spiced chai donelles, but alas they were out. But the chocolate was good and the whipped cream was home made. It was a great experience and we'd do it again! Be sure to reserve ahead of time as space fills quickly!

Fiamme is very underrated. Their food is delicious and the portion is enough to share or have leftovers. Everything is made fresh, have not had anything on the menu we didn’t enjoy. Definitely recommend for some good food and good drinks.

The service was excellent, thanks, Alexi. The food was a great portion and Hot! Probably $20-30 a person with an appetizer. We didn't get alcohol at the table.

The best Detroit style pizza I’ve had!! Everything was perfect, from the service, timing of our food, and the taste of the food. We got the silican and one night stand and both were sooo good. Loved the whipped ricotta they put on top. Their patio is amazing as almost all tables are shaded and have lots of room for your dogs.

From the moment we walked in the doors the service was exceptional. These people clearly are proud of their offerings and have mastered how to treat their customers! Their vegan menu....amazing! Conventional menu also drool-worthy.

Returned tonight and had wonderful service and food again. Thank you!! Excellent food and friendly service. We enjoy sitting outside on their great patio. Thank you!!

I’ve been here three three times already. Every time was amazing. The staff is friendly and happy and accommodating. Never came across a rude or condescending or “too busy” staff. Each time we have tried a new dish (as well as my party) and every dish was great! (recommend A-Mule-Sing, non alcoholic. It’s soooo good!) Additionally, they have two vegan pizzas!!! A thin crust (“unbeleafable”) and a more deep dish (pictured) -I forget the name (“don’t have meat with me”?), but it’s the best! AND-believe it or not-a vegan desert with no added sugar (if you ask for no powdered sugared dusting). This dessert is fantastic.

Best Service and Pizza hands down! The staff was on point to ensure nothing less than spectacular service and they made both pizza's Vegan. It's hard enough trying to find good Vegan options and Fiammé was able to give me two pizza styles! Detroit Style and true Neapolitan! Hands down best service and Vegan pizza I've had anywhere, 100/10, I'll be back! Thank you Preston and Shannon, you really know how to give the best dining experience!

Amazing place. Highly recommend. Wait staff is professional and courteous. Food is reasonably priced for the quality. High end food. Pizza was great and the limoncello wings are so tasty. Found a new place for me and the family.

Our 5th grade girls basketball team from Oak Park had 2 hours between games. A crew of adults and kids walked in at 6pm on a Friday. Staff could not of been more accommodating/nice and the food was great! Would definitely recommend.

went there for a bday party with my family and our pizza came out super burnt 😓 the server was really nice about it but the cook (I think sorry if i’m wrong) seemed annoyed and condescending about it. we were really nice about we’re not the type to say anything but it was honestly not edible at all. we got a new pizza but It was even more burnt and barely edible either but at that point we had been waiting for a while for our food. otherwise the pasta and drinks were really good! and our server diane was great:)

Overall, Fiamme was a one of a kind experience. We decided to try it for my father’s birthday in December. Their crunchy, browned, edges and enormously delectable crust are more delicious than any other “Detroit” style pizza I’ve tried before. They add a signature dollop of whipped ricotta to many of their dishes that give a unique twist to a traditional pizza or pasta dish. I tried the salmon dish my daughter had and it was very flavorful and not dry in the least! My cheese ravioli pasta dish had the perfect combination of richness and boldness. My house Pinot Noir paired nicely with my meal. They provided a HUGE dessert for the table to share for my dad’s celebration which everyone enjoyed! I was shocked at such a generous add-on. I will be back to try additional dishes!

delicious! i got the shrimp linguine, my wife got the quarto fromage pizza. we also got brucetta, all of it was delicious! staff was so nice. only minor complaint is there doesnt appear to be much parking, but they might have an additional lot i am not aware of, we were there for lunch, and got the last spot in the main parking lot

The lighting in this place is something to admire. We were a party of 11 people who visited during a weekday for dinner. Ordered two rounds of bruschettas and mozzarella sticks for appetizers. Ordered two Roasted Garlic woodfire pizzas (one with goat cheese, one with mozzarella), Fiamme Special woodfire pizza (without meats), Roasted Vegetable Woodfire pizza, The Mootz detroit style pizza, and The Roma detroit style pizza (without meats). Everything was on par with what I expected and the food tasted good. Service was also good with the orders and the timeliness. The only thing I didn't like was the 20% added gratuity that was automatically slapped on top of our check. This is a nice wood fire pizza location and we would definitely come back during a warmer day when the patio dining is available.

First time here. Great area. Had nice outdoor seating. We sat indoors. We had a party of 7. Our server was attentive and provided good service. Nice options on the menu. Wish they had a cauliflower crust option for pizza. I ordered the chicken parmesan and spinach (I was able to substitute the pasta). I also had a prickly pear martini and it was delicious! We ordered some appetizers (mozzarella sticks and calamari). Everyone enjoyed them. Cooked to perfection. My meal was really good and seasoned just right. They definitely have some large dinner portions!! Overall food was really good. I do recommend.

We enjoyed our experience at Fiammé, though the food could have been a bit better. The drinks were wonderful, and our server was very attentive and helpful with the menu. They were able to modify many items on the menu for dietary restrictions, however the pasta had a very watery and bland sauce. I'm still excited to return and try out some of their other menu items.

First time visited this restaurant, it was a good experience. We had reservations in advance yet were given a table top seating, it was really inconvenient and there were multiple vacant tables but we adjusted. Menu is good, has good vegetarian options as well. Food came out quick, but the appetizers and main course lacked salt. Spicy vodka pasta was really spicy though. Ambience is good. There is no parking option, have to park in a public garage 1-2 blocks away.

Delicious food! I got the Margherita and the Roasted Vegetable Pizza. Both were delicious! I enjoyed the vegetable one cause I love the combo of tomato and goat cheese. I’ve been here several times and every time, the service has been great and food was delicious! I recommend coming here during lunch cause they do have some great lunch specials!

N
Natasha From Chicago

We came without a reservation and they had 10+ empty tables outside and said we would have to wait 30 mins for outside seating. Luckily we were seated immediately inside. Their drinks are very good I will say. And it smells delicious. I changed it to 4 stars instead of 3 cause our waitress was amazing.

R

They were very quick with service. The arancini and zucchini antipastis were crunchy and mouth watering. The Margherita pizza was good but paled in comparison to the spicy vodka pasta. The desserts were decadent; they had run out of the caramel cheesecake, so it was replaced with their tiramissu. Both the lemon ricotta cake and the tiramissu were devoured within minutes, too good to resist!

One of our favorite Italian spots. However since covid the calamari appetizer has become way more arugula than it was calamari. We also had a reservation for standard seating, which there was plenty available, and they sat us at bar top- not that big of a deal but we were right next to the kitchen. Also - we asked for just the house bottle of wine and the bill came - it's was $62 😳.

A great place for unique, well executed foods. The place is fancy and quaint at the same time. We had three kinds of pizza. 2 Detroit style and 1 traditional. The food was great, but there seemed to be a tiny miss on each dish. The server was very nice, but a little absent at times (which is the way of the world now and they are not being dinged on that). Overall, we will likely be back for an adult pizza night.

Food was good but slow service Salmon carbonizatto and red wine sangria was delicious Would recommend detroit style pizza over Wood fired pizza here.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. While the food was excellent and our waitress provided outstanding service, the manager's behavior left a lot to be desired. The manager was rude and dismissive when trying to accommodate our group telling us we they did not have room as we booked a reservation on the spot and the restaurant remained empy our whole stay, which put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable meal which we finally were able to enjoy. Despite this, I have to give credit to our waitress who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. The food itself was also top-notch, with each dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Overall, while the manager's behavior was disappointing, the excellent service and food make this restaurant worth a visit. I hope the management takes steps to improve their customer service in the future.

My hubby and I were really excited when we found a another Italian place to try out. The ratings were really good so we had pretty high hopes for a nice date night. Note: We went to Italy for our honeymoon and always get excited for good Italian restaurants. Unfortunately, our experience didn't meet our hopes for the night. It was a Friday night and the place was packed! We were able to find a parking spot in their free parking lot and went in without reservations. We were seated right away in a night booth too! The environment was loud, but still ok. The interior decor and feel were dim, intimate, and had 2 TVs with an NBA game on. Still didn't take away from the intimacy. There were nice tiny flames on each table. Our server came and introduced herself and the daily specials menu. We ordered drinks and the limoncello wings. Theses were all very good. All still 5 star rating, but then that was the peak of our experience. We also ordered the chicken parmesan (off of the specials menu), shrimp fradiavolo pasta, and a pizza to share. All of the dishes were pretty bland and tasted mediocre at best. The pizza was too soft in the middle and all the slices didnt stay a slice when you get a piece to eat. The pasta was cooked al dente but the sauce was not that good. Then when we were done. The server didn't even ask if we wanted dessert and gave us the bill instead. So we guessed we didn't want a dessert anymore. Our total bill and tips came out to be $100 and we both feel that if the food was better, it would be ok, but overall it wasn't worth it. So go for drinks and appetizers. If you want to try the pizza, maybe ask for extra crispy.

I have eaten here twice, ordered the same thing both times, and got weirdly different experiences. The first photo is of the Bacon Marmalade pizza I ordered about a year ago and the second photo is the same menu item ordered today. The listed ingredients are: Soppressata, bacon marmalade, chipotle honey glaze, garlic, red pepper, gouda. For whatever reason, they really went nuts with the garlic and as someone that generally loves garlic, it was still kind of ridiculous to see an even half inch thick layer of garlic chunks covering the entire pizza, maybe a dozen cloves worth of garlic. The first time I ordered it, I would have rated it a 9/10, but today was more like 4/10. Otherwise, the atmosphere is nice and the wait staff was helpful. Appetizer + 2 entrees + tip was $85.

Wanted to love this spot, but the Arancini had cold cubes of Mozzarella inside of it and the Detroit Style Sauce was way too sweet to continue eating. Service was incredible beer and cocktails were on par.

We had a bad experience with one of the dishes, & the quality of service. Three of us went for dinner on Sat Dec 20th. Ordered an appetizer(Bruscetta Flamed), a Pasta(Tortellini Ricotta) & a Roasted Garlic Pizza. Requested mushrooms on the side for the Pasta. Pasta came with mushrooms mixed up. As our Server did not come to check on us for a long time, we had to get up & request another server to send him to us. Kitchen recooked Pasta & this time it was too salty (made in a hurry!). By this time, we were much delayed & tired of waiting, as two of us do not like the mushrooms. Though the Server removed Pasta from the bill, he seemed least interested in what had happened on our order, & said, I usually do drinks so no idea what goes on in kitchen! The appetizer was delicious. The pizza was okay. We will NOT return.

I used to love this place but today it was horrible service and food. The waitress was very rude. It took 40min to get foods and we paid $21 for four small ravioli . The pizza was burnt. Really?

Wow so disappointed! We’ve been going to Fiamme for years and the last 2 times it was just horrible. We asked tonight and the restaurant got bought out a little bit ago and the new owners have really cut back on the ingredients. We had a party of 10 and went for a birthday as we do a lot. We all had different pizzas and a few pastas. The pastas were ok but the pizzas and sauces were actually not even edible. Such a disappointment as we have been going there for years. Our bill was over $400 and honestly It wasn’t even worth $20. Unfortunately we will have to find a new pizza place in Downtown naperville now and I doubt it will be in business much longer. So sad.

Manager at 8pm on 10/17 was short and curt. Our orders were never sent to the kitchen, not the end of the world. No one ever came around to check on our table through the hour wait until one of our party went inside to inquire. Multiple parties entered, ordered and received their food and checks. Manager claimed there was a large takeout order that prevented us from getting our food. No apology, no semblance of customer service. The manager with such a sour attitude speaks to the culture of the restaurant as a whole. Will not consider going back

I have been a fan of Fiammes in the past considering they probably are the best option for fresh gf pizza in the area and extremely safe for someone with gluten intolerance but my last visit I tried a dessert that was marked gf but was infact not and it caused me an extreme reaction. The sad part was the staff too wasnt aware that it was indeed not a gf dessert and that now scares me to go back to Fiammes.

M

This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. My family and I came here hoping to enjoy a meal out, but we waited over an hour and still hadn't received our food. When I went inside to ask, I was told there had been “an error getting it into the kitchen.” There was no apology, no offer to make it right just a request that we settle our check. To make matters worse, the manager gave a completely different excuse, claiming the delay was due to a large online order. But they originally told me it was because the order was never put in. Meanwhile, four other tables that arrived after us were served, and even my sister, who showed up late, got her food while we were still waiting for ours. The lack of professionalism and poor customer service were incredibly disappointing. I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.
