This was the best meal I had in Nerja in 12 nights of eating out. I had the Thai Lemongrass sauce with prawns, so tasty. The service was efficient and friendly. Thank you, Asian Ben. The Romania waitress was friendly, chatty, and gave us sightseeing ideas. The restaurant is behind Balcon de Europe. Well worth a visit.

Excellent food and outstanding service from everyone. This restaurant came highly recommended to me and I wasn’t disappointed. Asian Ben also has one of the best waitresses in Nerja.. Maria! I’m glad she stayed on after Carlos’ closed (😢). They are very lucky to have such a courteous, friendly and helpful waitress. I had the red Thai curried prawns .. very tasty and rammed full of prawns and fresh vegetables. I would highly recommend Asian Bens. You won’t be disappointed. I ate on my own and was able to watch all the diners around me. Everyone commented how good the food was.

For asian cuisine lovers, Asian Ben is a hidden gem. I stopped on for lunch and ordered the crispy chicken lunch special. It started out with a vegetable spring roll for the appetizer which was freshly made and perfectly cooked with a with a twist…the vegetables were infused with a hint of yellow curry which was a nice surprise and delicious. A sweet chili sauce was used for dipping. The crispy chicken consisted of thinly cut strips of perfectly fried chicken with a dipping sauce and white rice to top off a perfect lunch. The restaurant owners were also very friendly and service was excellent!

Been going to Ben's for 15 years or so. Was a sad day when they closed down a couple of years ago. Was so pleased when they reopened last year. Food is excellent, backed up by great service and comfortable surroundings. Had a superb meal there last night at a very reasonable 95euro for four of us. Without doubt Ben's is our favourite restaurant. Can't criticise them at all so cannot give them less than 5 stars. Pay them a visit, you won't get better Chinese/Thai food between Nerja and Torre del Mar.

My wife, myself and a friend dined in Asian Ben on Tuesday evening, the food and service was excellent, we all choose to eat Thai dishes, we shared starters of vegetable spring rolls and prawns in crumb and deep fried, we had a sweet chilli sauce to accompany the dishes, both were delicious. For the mains, I had the Bangkok chilli sauce with vegetables, my wife had Chicken in a Thai red curry and our friend had a stir fried rice, with prawn and pineapple, this was served in a half pineapple, we all thoroughly enjoyed the our food. I have eaten in another 3 Thai restaurant in Nerja and Asian Ben is the best one for authenticity of the flavours. Another winner for me was the menu, it wasn't a large menu, you didn't feel overwhelmed by the selection, a very good restaurant that I highly recommend. One more very important factor was the cost, there was 3 of us, we had 2 starters to share, a main meal each, a bottle of the house rose wine, which was very good and 3 small beers, all for 70euro, excellent value for the centre of Nerja.

Absolutely excellent food. We had all the dumplings to start and then the Dan Dan noodle soup and the crispy chicken. All of it was freshly made and authentic.

Asian approved 😃👍 ⭐️Such quick service, we ordered the Dan Dan noodles , green curry and the lemongrass chicken! All so good and well plated. Portion was delicious for such a great value. The DanDan noodles were just the right amount of spice as well as the green curry! The chicken was so tender despite being the breast. A definite must come if you’re missing Asian food :)

Tasty food! Hubby and I are vegans and the prepared yummy curry with lots of veggies and tofu! We are craving rice and vegetables and Asian Ben totally hit the spot! A table of 10 came around the same time we did so we had to wait for our food but it was worth it!

We chose the set menu. We had spring roll starter, lovely and tasty. Crispy chicken in sweet chilli sauce and Thai green chicken curry, both with rice and both tasty and fragrant. Two small beers as part of set menu deal proved overall excellent value for money. Lovely friendly waiting staff, English girl working very hard to keep with orders etc. Can highly recommend Asian Ben.

I really enjoyed this restaurant! The food is excellent, and I especially recommend trying #11 on the menu. Just a heads up, it’s quite spicy, but the flavor is fantastic and well worth it. It leans a little on the salty side, but overall, it’s delicious. Definitely a great spot if you’re in the mood for something different from the usual Italian or Spanish options.

I hardly write reviews because of servers, but I'd like to shout out Gloria. Her positive personality and manners which is not very common in Europe made dinner more pleasant. Food was good as well. I don't know why the place was less crowded than others around. Maybe late dinner times in Spain?

We came across this restaurant while on holiday and were so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. Portions were generous and everything came out piping hot. The service was friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was relaxed. Highly recommend!

Ate here as it had the best rating.We had the special menu for €12 and had spring roll,Red Thai & Crispy chilli chicken and 2 small beers. At this price I was happy with everything, including portion size. Too often you get a massive bowl of rice that's wasted. Overall,well worth the visit.

아이들이 배고파해서 급 검색해서 들른 곳인데 아주 만족스러웠습니다. 직원들 모두 영어가 통하고 메뉴에 영어부분이 따로 있어요. 완탕누들수프(12번) 국물 따끈하니 맛있고, 치킨프라이드~(21번) 탕수육 느낌나요. 32번 볶음밥도 양 넉넉하고 익숙한 중국볶음밥 맛입니다. 스타터로 시킨 만두(2번)도 육즙이 살아 있어요. 레몬아이스티는 그낭 립톤이고, 합쳐 48유로 나왔어요. 화장실도 깨끗합니다. It was a satisfying experience. The broth of the Dan Dan noodle soup had a deep flavor, the fried rice was generously portioned and perfectly seasoned, and the dumplings were filled with hot, juicy broth. We finished all four dishes without leaving a single bite, and the kids said they wanted to go back. The staff were all fluent in English and responded promptly to our needs.

Ordered the Thai Green Curry, was beautifully prepared and really great quality. Service was hit and miss, forgotten drinks (completely) and a lack of any attention, however based on other reviews I think this may be an unfortunate isolated experience.

Great Chinese/Thai restaurant, I had the mapo tofu which was delicious and vegan. The others also really enjoyed their Thai curry dishes, and they had options to choose tofu with them as well if one wanted.

Great service, was treated by owner. Really good value food. Some food tasted very different to Irish style Chinese, but still enjoyable meal. Spring rolls and duck was excellent, ribs were coated in batter so not to our taste. Chicken curry was different, sauce wise, and lots of vegetables but good. Excellent rice noodles and chips. Good overall experience, friendly staff enjoyable environment .recommenced

After a fancy seven course dinner yesterday I wanted something more down to earth for today. I love egg fried rice and was happy to find this on the menu. Unfortunately it was not meeting my expectations. The rice was lukewarm and it was not having much flavor. I am sure the famous uncle Roger would not approve this egg fried rice ;) maybe i just picked the wrong item from the menu but it is what it is. Therefore I give well-intentioned four stars.

스페인여행 10일정도 됐어요. 타파스 맛나지만 너무 많이 먹었거든요.. 새로운 음식이 필요했는데 완전 좋았어요!!! 신랑은 wanton noodle 시키고 저는 chicken thigh with sauce, 아이들은 pork belly 먹었어요. Pork belly는 살짝 족발느낌 같았어요~!! 일단 애들이 밥을 먹어서 좋아했구요, chicken thigh가 고수랑 나왔는데 소스랑 잘 어울리고 넘 맛있었어요😍 남편은 쇼마이 추가해서 먹었는데 양도 많고~ 식사도 엄청 빨리 나왔어요!! 가격도 저렴하고 완전 맘에 들었습니다~🙂

Ein wirklich schönes kleines Familienrestaurant. Die Vorspeisen und der Hauptgang waren durchweg sehr gut – alles frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich authentisch. Freundliche Atmosphäre und ehrliche asiatische Küche. Absolut empfehlenswert! Un très joli petit restaurant familial. Les entrées comme le plat principal étaient excellents : des produits frais et une cuisine authentique, préparée avec soin. L’ambiance est chaleureuse et agréable, et l’on ressent le savoir-faire en cuisine. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésitation.

Very nice service and she was very kind. We ordered and we got the food very quickly which was nice but we will also the only people in the restaurant. We arrived at 17:30. They have something called mouthwatering chicken on the menu. I cannot underline enough how it actually stop my mouth from watering. It was absolutely horrible and the chicken skin was soft and the sauce tasteed like cigarettes. It ruined my taste buds for the rest of the meal. We also got the dumplings, and they were very nice but somewhat average. When we chose this restaurant, we saw that it had 4.7 and rating that’s why we visited. It’s located very close to the balcony of Europe. But it situated in our back yard like place. Not too cozy, but a lot of restaurants here. So there is no view. We also tried the Peking duck and that was actually the better option. But again my taste buds had been ruined by the sauce from the chicken. I would not eat here again ever and I’m sorry to say so as the service was absolutely kind and helpful.. I just want other people to have lower expectations than 4.7 stars. This place is a maximum of four stars but I haven’t had the main courses yet. If you’d like Chinese food, I’m sure you would like this place. It’s just not for me. **** Update*** I appreciate the owners reply. I have never had chinese food like this in any of my travels. Maybe if I was chinese then it would be a favorite. But I think the name for the dish "Mouthwatering chicken" is not helping. It could be called "traditional lukewarm soft-skin chicken with chinese special sauce". I hope you get more guests who like it or maybe we where just unlucky.

Good food. Not a Thaichef in a Thai kitchen but it was okey. The service was great but one waitress didn’t love her job. Yawning, scratching and totally unengaged. The others were great, so that should be a learning.

This place is pretty and cozy but the service is a little under decent and the food takes way too long to get we waited over an hour and a half. The food in general is good but fix the time.

First of all, if you’re going to be a waitress, learn how to speak to customers with basic respect. We ordered juice from your restaurant. While waiting, we felt thirsty and went to the supermarket next door to get a bottle of water. Then this Asian-looking waitress came over and rudely told us outside drinks weren’t allowed. There were absolutely no signs anywhere saying that, so don’t act like it’s our fault. Instead of politely explaining, she spoke in a mean, aggressive tone, telling us we could go outside if we wanted to drink water. Excuse me? We already ordered drinks — are we not allowed to be thirsty while waiting? Her attitude was completely out of line and extremely unprofessional. If your staff can’t even communicate basic rules without being rude, that’s on you — not your customers.

Also ich lesen wollte, würde sie abgehängt. In der Speisekarte war aber auch eine, ganz hinten. Nur fand ich es etwas unhöflich. Die Dame vom Service war nicht nett. Sie hat uns die ganze Zeit beim Essen beobachtet und hat sofort die Teller abgeräumt, ohne zu fragen ob wir fertig sind und ob es uns geschmeckt hat. Ein weiteres Getränk würde auch nicht abgefragt. Die Portionen sind eher sehr spärlich. Satt ist was anderes. Zahlen und tschüß. Nicht wieder. Auch bemüht man sich auf spanisch. Nein. Englisch ist angenehmer. Sehr schade.

Das Essen war nicht sehr genüsslich. Dafür dass das Essen sehr nach Fritöse geschmeckt hat war es zu überteuert. Würde es nicht weiterempfehlen.

Litt rart å gi denne restauranten en stjerne i det hele tatt. Det burde jo vært null. Lang ventetid på maten. Når den først kommer så får en person både forrett og hovedrett samtidig. Vi andre ni må vente. Så kommer maten sporadisk. Noe er ok men min mat var skuffende tørr og kjedelig. Når vi nærmer oss ferdig så napper kelnerne vekk tallerkenene uten å spørre. To stk var ikke ferdige. Helt håpløst. Dette var en særdeles dårlig opplevelse. Det beste med Asian Ben er at vi aldri trenger å gå tilbake dit! Styr unna!

Das Essen war für den Preis wirklich nicht in Ordnung. Überteuert und nicht weiterzuempfehlen. Die Garnelen haben nach Churros geschmeckt, für 6€ stimmt zwar die Portion, aber der Geschmack nicht. Service war aber gut.

I have no idea how this restaurant has 4.7 stars. It took forever to order the food and it was really hard to communicate in english. One of the waitresses laughed in our faces when we tried to order our drinks. Not to mention the fact that we waited at least half an hour to order them and another ten minutes to order food after we had to ask the waitresses if we can order. I ordered “lemon grass aromatic chicken” and the only good thing was plain rice. The chicken had jelly texture and it tasted disgusting. It didn’t even look encouraging. My friends ordered “thai prawn coconut soup” and we got no information on how spicy the dish is. It was not included on the menu. To the best of my knowledge, an information like this should be given on the menu or when ordering a dish. We certainly do not recommend this restaurant.

Hemos comida en este restaurante ya que nos gusta mucho la comida china. El arroz y los tallarines estaban pasados de cocción y el arroz tenía sabor ha quemado. En resumen, no repetiría.
