Fajita Combo was excellent. Don’t forget to tip the cook when leaving a tip for your waiter. Sex on the beach was spot on. Will definitely go here again.

Rancho Viejo is an absolute gem that truly stands out! From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a wonderful environment that perfectly sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The atmosphere is vibrant yet comfortable, making it ideal for any occasion, whether it's a casual lunch or a special dinner. What truly elevates Rancho Viejo, however, is their exceptional customer service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. They are attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to make your visit perfect. I was particularly impressed when they handled a custom order for me – not only did they accommodate my request, but the dish they created far exceeded my expectations in both flavor and presentation. It's rare to find such dedication to customer satisfaction! And then, there's the food. Oh, the food! Each dish is a testament to authentic Mexican cuisine, bursting with fresh ingredients and rich, delicious flavors. From classic favorites to unique specialties, everything on the menu is prepared with care and passion. Despite the high quality and incredible taste, the prices are incredibly fair, offering fantastic value for such a premium dining experience. Rancho Viejo isn't just a restaurant; it's a culinary destination. If you're looking for delicious food, a fantastic atmosphere, outstanding customer service, and prices that won't break the bank, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend Rancho Viejo – you won't be disappointed!

My family and I love Rancho Viejo! I get the chimichangas and my wife enjoys the quesadillas. You can’t go wrong with whatever you get. Great service from extremely friendly staff!

Food was excellent. The staff were nice, friendly people. They seem to enjoy making people laugh. I have to tell you about my tacos carnitas. At first they didn't look like much, but when I tell you that first bite was off the hook... It was off the hook. I did that thing where the first bite is so delicious, you roll your eyes back, close them, and slowly open them again while shaking your head slowly from left to right because you just can't believe the deliciousness. The sauce I was given made it so much better. I came hungry, but at the end of my 3 tacos, I was full. I am coming back again. These people put a spell on my taste buds. I want more!

I tell you what. I thought plaza Mexico was the one the best Mexican restaurants around the area ill admit I was wrong. This place blows plaza Mexico outta the water. Our waiter was on the ball , very professional, great sense of humor. The food was amazing and portions were huge. Food tasted fresh , great flavor . Very very highly recommend. I'll definitely be back. Great job by all.

We were in town for a funeral. They stayed open for our order during closing time. Great energy, authentic entree, and humble service.

Soooooo good. The food, the decor and the gracious service will make you think you are in Mexico. We found this gem whilst trekking to southern Iowa from Minneapolis. Having spent some time in Mexico I am always suspicious of Midwestern claims on Mexican cuisine but this is the real deal. Enjoy your stay. You won’t regret stopping here for a refresh before you hit the road. And if you live here, consider yourself lucky to have such authentic Mexican food to enjoy in a regular basis.

This hidden gem had excellent Mexican fare. Chili relleno is my go-to meal at any new-to-me Mexican restaurant. Rancho Viejo served a better chili relleno than I have been able to find in Tucson where I spend the winter. My wife was pleased with her enchiladas, but disappointed that mole sauce was not available on the day that we visited. We shared a very tasty House Margarita. The beer selection was limited, but that's the norm for Mexican restaurants. We were too full to ask whether they had sopapillas for dessert.

I really love going here, I love the margaritas, and the food is pretty good. But the service is always terrible. Not because they're rude or mean. They're always friendly. But it always takes at least 40 minutes for us to get our food when I go out with friends. Last time it was 30 minutes before they even came to our table, he served us all water, came back 20 minutes later for our food order but never asked our drink orders. We just added our drink orders in with our food orders. We rarely get checked on. I always have to find somebody to get something I might need. Whether it be more salsa, a margarita, some queso, whatever we might need we have to find someone to ask them or wait another 15 minutes until the waiter decides to come back to our table. I'm forgiving of a business if they're super busy or understaffed and it holds up service. But every single time? Literally 5-6 times, repeatedly, the service is horrible. I hope this is something that can be fixed because it is a great restaurant.

I stood inside, waiting for someone to wait on me for 5 minutes before I decided to yell "hello" into the kitchen (I saw 2 people talking back there), and still no one came. Finally, an employee walks in the front door....and takes another 2 to 3 minutes to wait on me lmao. I have no idea why I waited. At that point, I just ordered a Pina Colada to go, and sweet Jesus, it was another 5-7 minutes. I was the Only customer in Rancho the entire time. So in my opinion the service was a 2/5 at the very best .

The Queso was very thick and creamy, if you like it that way. The Aztec Burrito chicken was fantastic, the shrimp were ok. Great service!

Service was horrible! Everything we asked for the guy said “no we don’t” but the attitude was more like that’s what we have and don’t ask me for more. We were passing by on the city so didn’t know the place. Then, I ordered some steak tacos for my son that came COLD! And like 3 pieces of meat only, when I paid, they charged each taco at $4!!!! And I’m not cheap on food but honestly didn’t worth the price, the tacos ended up being for our dogs. The carne asada had no flavor at all and they didn’t have hot sauce either( not bottled, more like restaurant style), the beans were like water and the presentation was like a mess, you couldn’t even see the rice or the salad was. We went there just because we thought would be better than the usual, McDonald’s or Subway, which you can get anywhere you go… wrong idea!

Bean dip has green sauce on top and its not mentioned in the menu nor is it good. We asked for no rice and beans and he said okay, then brought it anyway. We had food dropped off but no one checked on us and one napkin turned into the communal napkin. My daughters hard taco shells disintegrated due to oil and the beans were so watery on the plate it was more a soup. Personally didn't like the rice. The cornona was fine though.
