What a gem! This place is just steps from the Rail Trail and has the perfect setup — a cozy patio outside and comfortable tables inside. The coffee they made for us was honestly some of the best I've ever had. The baristas are absolutely out of this world — friendly, skilled, and clearly passionate about what they do. I’ll definitely be coming back!

What a cute cafe! They had some of the most delicious lattes and baked goods I’ve had! Their sesame latte is so tasty as was their granola yogurt bowl! Their croissant was so flakey and delicious. An absolute must visit when you’re in New Paltz!

Great atmosphere, and delicious food / drinks. Genuinely one of the prettiest places in town, and I would recommend Dry Fly to almost anyone. This is definitely not for younger people or picky eaters, as it kind of seems like the menu is full of only the top tier, more “mature” stuff you’d find at Starbucks. For a croissant and a latte, I spent about $12, which isn’t awful given the quality- but for sure not a daily visit due to the cost. GREAT study / work place, and great date spot.

Great place right off the bike/trail in New Paltz. Shared an avocado toast (Meyer lemon puree made this the best toast I’ve had since whoever invented avocado toast) and double espresso and latte. Open and bright yet small enough to be cozy. Lots of bicyclists and runners too.

Great ambiance, tasty food made by passionate people is the summary of dry fly coffee company. From the amazing bread kneaded and baked on the spot, to the tasty and thoughtful takes on popular toast, and last but most importantly the unique coffee creations. We recommend the woodland sourdough, the avocado toast with egg, the tomato toast and their special beverages from shaken espressos to espresso based with botanicals. Highly recommended.

I've spent the past week looking for the best chocolate chip cookies in town, and these are it. The raspberry matcha latte was wonderful, and I can't wait to go back and try the coffee.

The Dry Fly Coffee Company was a surprising respite for two tired travelers. It’s nestled in a new construction building in a sleepy town stuck in a time capsule decades old. A mixture of modern industrial decor that gives urban city vibes with a beautiful sunlit outdoor space next what looked like a hiking trail. A beautiful combination of nature meets caffeine. The cold brew had a great bite dressed by a metal gold straw and the salmon avocado toast was a phenomenal pack of flavors… delicious. The crew behind the counter were kind and the vibe was relaxed. This is a great place to get work done with adequate space or have a conversation without blaring music. The place seems very community oriented and I’d gladly visit again.

This is such a cool place. The atmosphere makes you want to chill there all day. The service was spot on. The tiramisu latte tasted just like tiramisu and looked BEAUTIFUL. The almond croissant was decadent. I will be back.

Got an avocado toast and the lemon puree is just an amazing touch, that makes it probably the best avocado toast I‘ve ever eaten. Also got a cortado and enjoyed it a lot due to the light roast! Definitely will come back if I‘m in the area!

Bustling, happy, spacious environment. Excellent food, great coffee. A perfect spot right at the New Paltz rail trail for a light bite after a good walk. I had the avocado toast! What's in that lemony drizzle!! Wow, avocado on toast never tasted this good when I've made it!

Highly recommend trying this place out! We slept on Dry Fly while taking our walks on the rail trail, and decided to give it a shot, and they did NOT disappoint! I had the Shakshuka along with a cappuccino, and it was a perfect breakfast. The Shakshuka was deliciously seasoned, a fresh piece of sourdough on the side went along wonderfully, and the portion to start the morning left you feeling comfortable and ready to go! Not only that, the prices are fair and reasonable, along with a nice space to sit and relax. If you’ve been sleeping on this place and going to other coffee shops in town, you ought to reconsider!

I have been going here for a year or so and the pastries, tea and coffee have all been consistently great! I love the atmosphere as its a great place to do work or relax and I never feel pressured to leave quickly even if it's busy. I especially like the plants and the cute mugs they give you.

Really wish I lived closer so I could come here more often. The people were so kind and went out of their way to accommodate my oat/seed allergy… the kitchen staff even fresh roasted nuts for me because I couldn’t have the granola with my yogurt! Almond croissant and vanilla latte were 👍👍👍 plus, really lovely trail right out front. 10/10 would recommend.

Very cute coffee shop with interesting options. Seasonal flavors appeared to be made in house, which i love. Free Wi-Fi and a nice environment. The employee who took my order was very nice, but the others working the counter were cold. It may have just been an off day, of course. Only other drawback is the parking situation. The lot is owned by the building and has lots of signage and rules about where you can park and for how long.

👍 - clean, bright and comfortable environment - plenty of seats for large group - some interesting flavors that does not often see at other cafe 👎 - I personally think London Fog taste very light, almost tasteless

This place is nice but it is overpriced. The hot coffee was very good, but $4 which is too expensive for plain hot coffee. They roast their own beans, and it's awesome to have a place nearby that sells great freshly roasted beans. But a bag is like $24, which is too expensive. Worst of all I got a lemon blueberry scone which was $6, which is much too expensive for a scone if you ask me. The scone had a great texture but was lacking in flavor. The people at the counter were nice.

Great coffee and nice pastries. Lots of GEN Z stares; someone needs to teach them “ hello”, “ thank you”, and “ you are welcome”. Not all of them, but enough of them are just plain sourpusses. It’s a shame because it makes what could be a wonderful experience ( great product), a really unpleasant one ( lousy customer service).

Elana L

Terrible customer service. Short girl with bangs and straight dark brown was extremely rude when taking order. Bread was stale, coffee was mediocre. Came here after a good first experience, but definitely not coming back again.
