One thing about me is that should I be in an area that I don't normally frequent, I will find myself some food. That's how I came across Baraka. I wasn't in the mood for the usual restaurant experience, and to be honest, since the pandemic, I have not been to a buffet. Easy to locate, well spaced, and most importantly, the food options on offer I appreciated. Now, only minus is you're vegetarian or vegan. There were two options available for you that I recall. I had the okra myself, and it was 🙌🏿. The food here is the Guinean style of West African from fried fish, chicken, and macaroni. I was almost tempted to get a week's worth of food. The taste says that it was a temptation worth falling for. Customer service was on point, too! Finally, drinks included some nonalcoholic beverages that you may find at other restaurants and stores. No alcoholic beverages are sold here. I highly recommend it!
This is a very interesting food joint. Take-out is the main mode but one could choose to eat at the few tables. Vegetarians will struggle since almost all items have some or the other meat. The food is great and the manager helpful.
I’m here from detroit and I have to say, This is the best hidden gem of Harlem. the smell of the food draws you in, the restaurant is humble and dark, but the food is all this place needs! the chicken was absolutely fantastic. Bless this buffet! I love Baraka!
Extremely authentic West African food that is also fresh, clean and tasty at really good prices. The lady running the place is very friendly. I come here for dishes like Lamb with Rice, Lamb in general, spiced Cassava leaves, spiced Potato leaves, Okra spiced and other similar dishes. Wonderfully exotic. Mostly African clients and lots of French accents including that of the owner.
Love me some African food this spot been my late night creep since 2018 I've moved to PA and hadn't been here since 2021 Was passing through and I stopped by The place . The place is not much to look at and you must spend over 10 to use the card but the food never disappoints
Very friendly staff, xcellent food w good variety. Easy to see why it's been their so many years
Excellent. Knowing a few phrases in French helps to ask for things. Very spicy sauce on the side recommended.

Good food but not too hygienic
Great authentic African food. Just needs airconditioning!
The food from Baraka Buffet was yummy! I liked it and will go back there when i to get the chance. If you are in search of or wanna taste some real african food, i recommend it. The only problem i encountered, the food had no tag description. It wasn't easy to identity what was what. So, i had to ask my friend who took me there, so i could decide on what to eat.
Not bad. The cooked banana thing and the spaghetti noodle dish was good. Lots of oil. I think they use olive. I didnt taste msg which is a good sign from a buffet.
Nice spot for a quick delicious francophone food. Not fancy but food is excellent and price is right.

Food very decent
I'm not a big fan of buffets
Very good food but holy shit is this place expensive. Don't expect to pay less than $15 for a medium size meal
Mediocre food and service. Didn't enjoy the luke warm food. Self service means everyone's talking over the food🙄 not hygienic.

If u want a real buffet go somewhere else not here food good but pork chops were not cooked all the way way pricey and no grading for the food
Service is not good also the food is very expensive
It started with good food and I have been going there for a while until today when they sold me bad fried whole fish(I think I was a left over of the previous day)😕. I tried calling their phone number to let them know but it's out of service. So I have to walk down there again tomorrow to either get a refund or another food ☹️. My tummy is even hurting because I tried to taste it!

They charge you $17 dallors for fufu & some type of sauce and doesn't let you taste other foods.
This food made a group of people and a child very ill . Cross contamination , open food and other bad things going on here . They should learn food handling or be shut down .
