B&B Restaurant New York Reviews
Delicious African food ! Yum :)
Delicious! Come hungry! The food is filling, and there are a lot of stews. The meat is delicious. I love their okra (sometimes they have okra rice). People are very friendly and will help if you’re confused—none of the buffet dishes are labeled, but I’ve enjoyed experimenting Inexpensive and open late (past 4am despite what Google says)
Best place ever for food. Been coming here since college days and 10 years later, still here.
This place excels when serving dinner. The employees delivered outstanding service and fast food. Being new to this neighborhood, I was excited to discover this spot. The food tastes exceptional and costs what it should. I must return to give them better stars.
I love this African buffet style restaurant. The food is always fresh, the atmosphere is very welcoming/ warm/ and friendly. The food is always well made, and served/prepped and very clean/neat and always always delicious. I recommend everyone to go and show love and grab a platter/meal💙 💚💜 I’m a forever customer.
SORRY FOR THE HALF EATEN PLATES. BUT O HAD TO STOP MID WAY TO GIVE A REVIEW. THE LADY IN THE FRONT WAS NICE ENOUGH TO HELP US PICK OUT THE FOOD. SHE SHOWED US WHAT WAS WHAT. THE FISH JOLLOF? ASTONISHING. FLAVORFUL. NOT OILY. AMAZING. FUFU AND THE TOMATO BASE SOUP. AMAZINGGGG. IM HONDURAN AND MY WIFE IS DOMINICAN BUT LET ME TELL YOU, WE ARE SO GLAD WE EXPANDED OUR TASTE BUDS❤️ & 27$ FOR EVERYTHING. CANT BEAT THAT.
amazing !!!!!! ITS SO GOOODDDD TRUST !!! i thought about birthing my offspring in nyc just so that i would have a valid reason to stay here another few years solely to eat here each day. i don’t even like kids they r annoying af. but this restaurant is just that good. great price and flavor and vegetarian friendly best thing i had in nyc
The best African Restaurant I have EVER visited!!! I made it a point to come back here after my first visit last year. The food choices are FANTASTIC, the taste is divine and the price (for a New York restaurant) is unbelievably cheap!! It's simply the best, I recommend any and everyone to go check this hidden gem out.
Hungry, in the streets of NYC me and my friend ran into this gem. We were not expecting this at all… We walked in here and looked at all the amazing food this place had to offer. Were suppose to do take away but couldn’t resist and made our plates here. The food had tons of flavor. A lot of flavor. Has to be probably some of the best food I have ever had. A solid 5/5 from me.
Intro: I found the restaurant luckily as I was nearby! I made my own plate with the items of my choice, as the food is all in front of you. You have to take it by your self like buffet style! I personally really loved this style. Taste: I ate different types of chicken! I really loved the taste. I'm going back there for the black colored chicken as it was really spicy ( see in the photo). Payment: You pay by weighing your food! Look up at price on top of cashier for instruction. Expectations: (1) Homemade style African & American food (2) healthy food (3)crowd (4)pick your own food (5)Eat in (6)Halal Take care! Have a good life🤪
I'm very impressed with this place. The food is very tasty, is a bufete kind of spot, you pay per weight. Is very affordable and delicious!, and you have many, many options!, different options of salads, stews, salsas, and sides. Everything was so good! Is not a fancy place, however is very clean and I can tell they made the food with Love. I had to thanked the cook personally - that good guys! I'm definitely going back! I highly, highly recommend this place!
Excellent West African cuisine serving buffet style. This is a great place to grab a healthy and very tasty selection for lunch, or sit down in the seated area. Although servings are set up buffet style, there's a quick turnaround on the food and therefore selections are normally kept fresh.
I never really tried African food before and I found this place from TikTok because my SO really wanted to try fufu with stew. The price for food was really good and I thought it was delicious even though idk what I ate honestly because none of the dishes are labeled. I just took pieces from dishes from trays that were almost empty because I assumed these were popular. I would definitely come here though if you have no dietary restrictions and want to try African food without breaking the bank though.
African food buffet style. Just 2-3 tables. Best to take it to go. The place looks like a corner Bodega but all the shelves removed and buffet stations put in instead. The price point is good. Less expensive than other buffet style in the area. Just becareful of what you pick. There was just the 1 lady at the cashier so no one is around to explain what everything was. Nothing was labeled... my friend got 2 pieces of meat that looked like a dry beef stew but turned out to be liver lol. Everything I picked, looked good and tasted good 😀 Something i picked was spicy but I still ate it while fanning my mouth LOL
B&B is halal buffet style African food. There are large pans of food kept warm. It leans towards stewed options and is a bit on the greasy side. Flavors cover a wide range so if you know exactly what you like and want, if they have it out and you serve yourself a nice portion, you're golden. If you're unsure, you may be very disappointed. A very good late night value option when choices are limited. It's less appealing when more is available. It's good for what it is but go with tempered expectations.
