This place has the best garlic bread! I was in a rush and was lucky to stumble upon Villa Pizza, the workers are very kind and quick to take the order. Their customer service is great and the food feels so fresh. Their meatballs are so tender and juicy. I will be going back to try their pizza!

Oh wow, Villa's Italian Kitchen at Port Authority Bus Terminal is an absolute gem! The delicious food, warm atmosphere, and friendly staff create such a memorable dining experience; it left me speechless. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delightful culinary journey – they truly deserve all the praise! The pizzas and pasta (especially their Macaroni and Cheese) isn't only delicious, it's a culinary delight. And don't get me started on their incredible Caesar Salad. I may not be much of a salad guy but I will absolutely have that salad again. If the owner is reading this, I'm proud of you and I hope that you continue to expand and hopefully open the Villa across the street.

I stopped by Villa Italian Pizza while walking around the city and honestly it hit the spot. The slice was hot, cheesy, and had that classic New York pizza flavor. The crust was crispy on the bottom but still soft enough to fold. Staff was quick too even though it was busy. Definitely a solid place if you want a quick slice.

Tried Villa Italian Pizza for the first time and it was pretty good. I ordered a slice and a soda and it came out quickly. The sauce had good flavor and the cheese was melted perfectly. so good recommend everyone to come try, server adam and ibrahim were nice people and made the experience much better

One of the better quick pizza spots I’ve tried in NYC. The slices are big and filling, and the sauce has a nice balance of sweetness and acidity. Prices are fair for the city and service was friendly. Perfect stop if you’re hungry and don’t want to wait long.

Good pizza for a quick bite. I ordered a pepperoni slice and garlic knots. The pizza had a nice crispy crust and the pepperoni had that perfect little curl. Garlic knots were great and perfectly seasoned. Overall though I’d come back again.

Great late-night pizza stop. The slice was huge and super satisfying after a long night out. Crust had a good crunch and the cheese pull was perfect. Honestly exactly what you want from a New York pizza shop.

I stopped by on September 25th 2025 to grab my dinner. As always, the service was great, the meal delicious and the price reasonable for the location. I had bought pasta, baked chicken and brocoli with carrots a month ago, and I was served by Cherry. So, I came back for another plate😁. Ibrahim, Magdiy and Haji were all friendly and welcoming. Thanks to the great customer service of Cherry, I earned a customer. Thank you for your service to the community!

September 1, 2025 went to Villa Pizza. I had ordered 14 leg chicken, some big ziti and macaroni and cheese. I was served by Chery an employee/cook. He was very relaxed and polite. He said he prepared the food as he was trying to make a conversation. I told him that the food was excellent and tasted fine. I was impressed for the nice service and good attitude of the staff besides the food preparation well cooked. The place was clean. Nice place. I will return again. Very spacious for family diner too.

We have been eating at Becco for more than 40 years. Our favorite for theater. Amazing how good this restaurant is. The waiter was professional and pleasant. The food delicious. Really good wine. Service was fast but not too fast. No wonder we keep coming back.

Our family considers Becco our favorite restaurant. Not only for the excellent food selection and the Sinfonia, but for the atmosphere and to see our favorite chef, William. The antipasto miso is a must have for our oldest daughter and the caesar salad it the best I've ever had. The burrata is always our go-to appetizer. We leave feeling full, content and looking forward to our next visit. We actually sat upstairs in a room we hadn't been in before and I was obsessed with the art installation on the wall! How cool! Looking forward to seeing William (my Elvis!) again in the Spring!

Amazing restaurant. Called to reserve two hours before and they were able to accommodate us. Great service, great food!! Love the all you can eat pasta!! It’s $36.95 for a caesar salad or vegetables, and all you can eat 3 types of pastas!!! Definitely will go back!! Delicious!!

Wonderful, authentic experience. Food was great! I was there with my coworkers after a conference. We had enough space for 15 at our long table and the room was quiet enough for us all to talk. Definitely a place to come back too if opportunity comes up.

Becco is always excellent. I've taken many out of town guests for lunch or dinner but my husband had never visited. We went for lunch and had calamari, lasagna, branzino and tiramisu.

What a find! As someone who travels and eats all over the world, it’s hard to find a restaurant that can sing all the notes. The service, ambiance, and of course the food has to be good. At the same time the price point has to be commensurate to the experience. Becco hits all the notes. Their unique spin on their 3 pasta dishes we found unique and fun. The food all was delicious and priced to make you feel you were having a treat but not needing to take out a home equity loan to cover it. We had three courses, (meatball starter, hanger steak, veal picante, and chicken parm, with the three pasta special, and brownie with ice cream to finish). Add in the wine and drinks and we found everything delightful. I’m not sure when I will be back in NYC but when I am, I plan to return to Becco.

We were recommended this restaurant by a NYC local while we were in town for a business trip, and it was BY FAR the best meal we had the whole week we were in New York. The staff were all friendly, attentive and were very helpful in explaining portion sizes etc. They also had phenomenal cappuccino. Zero additives needed.

Absolute perfection!! Was a Bucket List Restaurant since Lidia Bastianich is one of my idol chefs. Everything was delicious. The only ding in service was that Google said they were open when I got there at 330pm, but apparently everyone was on a break until 4pm and the hostess was a tad snippy about it? Yet they keep the doors open? Then at 4pm, they shuffled everyone into a small space of the bar area to be seated. Otherwise it was an absolute dream!!!!

A wonderfull place to dine. The food is delicious and prices are okay. The restaurant has a very nice ambiente. Choose the pasta trilogy as it is the signature dish. Make sure you have a reservation to get your table. Have fun and enjoy.

Great food and great service. Didn't have to worry about our water not being filled or leaving with our stomachs half empty. Expensive but worth the price you pay and its not a pricey restaurant you leave feeling unsatisfied

Becco is one of my favorite spots in the city! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always attentive without being overbearing. Their famous pasta tasting is a must-try!!! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. The wine list is excellent as well, with great options at reasonable prices. Every time I come here, I leave happy and satisfied. Highly recommend Becco for a delicious Italian experience in NYC!

I had the Mac and cheese plus 3 meat balls. It was good comfort food. I thought the meatballs tasted similar to chef boyarde during my first bite. Service guys were nice.

A bit pricey but good.. also good atmosphere..we sat upstairs..I had NY Strip with mushrooms and fries which was enjoyable. Calamari appetizer was very good as well.. also large choice of bottled wine for $45 flat, which is not too bad for NYC

Very very, good food…but not sure you’ll find what you would normally expect at an Italian restaurant. Very noisy and everyone is packed tight and if it wasn’t for the food I wouldn’t go back. The bread, meatballs, chicken, vegetables and more was all good.

I tried the three-pasta dinner special at Becco. The antipasto that came with it was delicious, and while the pastas were good (not great), the pumpkin ravioli stood out as the clear winner. I sat at the bar, where the bartender was very friendly, and ended up next to a gentleman who’s been coming here for over 20 years. It really felt like a local favorite, with lots of return customers giving the place a welcoming, neighborhood vibe. The meat dishes I saw going by looked fantastic — I didn’t try them this time, but I suspect that’s where Becco really shines. Overall, it’s a lively and popular spot with a loyal following, worth visiting for the atmosphere and sense of community as much as the food.

Becco’s signature pasta trio was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Service was great and the overall dining experience was enjoyable. That said, the back of the restaurant felt a bit stuffy with limited airflow, making the atmosphere less comfortable. With some improvement to ventilation, this would be an easy 5-star spot.

CreativeKid90

I definitely feel the food is over priced I know it’s the city but sheesh. I was skeptical cause my favorite pizza spot pizza cost $3.50 and this was over $5 and the pizza wasn’t anything special but for pizza+ side + orange juice was $15.

The food was just ok. Nothing special. The 3 pasta special included clams, which were hard and cold. The focaccia was rock solid. They did so a nice birthday song with a scoop of ice cream for my husband which was nice. Some guy, not our server, snatched the card from my husband hand. Not cool

Was kind of a crappy experience. The when we arrive for us for our reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes past when it was scheduled for it to be seated. Had to wait in crowded bar area didn’t even try to order a drink. Waiter was rude and cocktail wasn’t great. The highlight of the night was the gentleman greeting us as we’d arrived…his fru fru / no nonsense attitude intrigued me wondering aloud how he navigated the world - from paying the water bill to changing lightbulbs - his life must be interesting and full of drama I can barely let myself dream about.

We dined at Becco tonight to celebrate my birthday, excited after years of watching MasterChef and eager to finally try one of Joe Bastianich’s restaurants. Perhaps I had built it up too much in my head, but the experience didn’t quite meet the expectations I had hoped for. The dining room was crowded and noisy, and we were seated at a very small two-top that made the meal feel like a game of Tetris with plates, glasses, and baskets competing for space. We started with the antipasto plate, which felt more like a mishmash than a curated appetizer — undercooked vegetables, some beans, a lone cube of cheese, and a few other odds and ends that didn’t come together as a cohesive dish. Since I didn’t want fish, I was brought some whipped ricotta with honey and a bowl of peas. Not really sure how that made sense. For our mains, we both ordered the popular three-pasta special — pumpkin ravioli, penne vodka with shrimp, and spaghetti with garlic, olive oil, and broccoli. The pastas are brought table-side, though the presentation felt more rushed than refined, with pots carried over and portions simply scooped onto plates. The food itself was a mixed experience. The pumpkin ravioli was the highlight — flavorful and comforting, though the sauce leaned a bit oily. I appreciated that the waiter accommodated me with penne vodka without shrimp, which was thoughtful. Unfortunately, the spaghetti was undercooked and clumped together, which made it hard to enjoy. The biggest issue of the evening was our seating location directly under an air-conditioning vent. Between conversation and bites, my entire plate of food became cold before I could finish it — disappointing for a celebratory meal. I packed up my ravioli to go and the rest was tossed in the trash. Overall, while Becco has its charm and history, the experience tonight felt more rushed and less polished than expected for such a highly regarded restaurant.

It was my second time visiting this location and I will NOT be returning. I feel like I was SCAMMED. First of all, the cashier asked the dude in charge of putting pizza in the oven what my order was since my food was packed up. My food (seen in photo) does NOT match up with the price I paid and especially the description of what I ordered. Your workers do not know how to engage with the customers whom are right in front of their face. Your workers do not even check and look to see what is being correctly charged. I feel like a random button was pressed on the screen and I was charged. The worker who assisted me during all of this did not even acknowledge me in the end, I had to ask for my receipt. He was so preoccupied in conversation with his other employee without being fully engaged with me. Poor customer service with a bad taste in my mouth. If you read this review and even acknowledge it, I will give a third thought into even going back to your establishment.

The packaging was ineffective. I ordered my meal to go and they wrapped my plate in plastic wrap. When I got to the register, the staff billed me for food I didn’t order. My bill was an unreasonable $27 for a plate of pasta and a pizza slice. Worse, when I opened the plate up at my apartment I found a hair in the pasta. Repulsive!

I was just at this location I was very surprised of how this place has changed for the worst from the last time I was there early in the spring of this year. Now they're selling beer and the place is loaded with homeless people, drunk people sleeping on the chairs also been extremely disrespectful and using foul language not to mention people walking in begging for money and if you don't get the money the curse that you and the only two employees they have attending to people won't say anything to them they just look at you like you have three heads and police is nowhere to be found at the time. This place was extremely disgusted and I will not will not go by again. By the way I did not get a receipt aIso I had to leave my food behind because of the situation with this drunk males in the back of restaurant. Tables are not being clean either. I had to clean my own table and removed the trash from the previous person.
