Ben's Delicatessen New York Reviews
THIS IS THE BEST DELI IN NYC!! I was originally in the area to try Sunday Morning across the street, which was GROSS. So I went to bens and it was AMAZING! Service 1000/10. Egg & cheese on a roll…SO YUMMY! I was also surprised the coffee was so good. I love love loveeeddd Bens so much I went back 3 times during my week long trip!
great coffee omg, usually you got low grade coffee at most grocery, looking forward to try the food
Inside this bodega is an outstanding, affordable, authentic, Mexican spot. Great burrito, Birra Taco’s, quesadillas steak, al pastor. All delicious and fresh - just opened. Worth trying. Don’t let the outside fool you. Very good take out as well!
Honestly, i’m reluctant to write this because I don’t want to wait in line, but the food here is great!! First up, my partner got pork tacos, he said they were slamming, great flavor, meat was juicy and crispy in all the right places. I got a vegetarian burrito, nice mix of sautéed veggies, with rice and beans and all the little extras you need. Best of all, the fresh fried chips with a did-not-disappoint order of guac. On top of that they were friendly too. Def will be my go to spot in the neighborhood for tasty and affordable Mexican.
all kinds Stuff. tasty
Good food with decent prices. Can’t go wrong.

Just had some amazing tacos here like 5 mins ago- lots of flavor and filling- highly recommend!
Now Open! Super good deli! Also a great selection of top brand food and snacks
Really good authentic Mexican food I feel the real flavor from Mexico street food Very recommend this place.
I ordered tacos al pastor and let me tell you they were amazing, the store got an improvement.
Owner is extremely helpful and friendly. Suggested other shops to go to when he didn’t have what I needed
Great place. Amazing Mexican food inside as well
Ben's Deli delivers an unforgettable Mexican dining experience where fresh ingredients take center stage. With reasonable prices and a commitment to avoiding processed fare, this hidden gem offers authentic flavors that surpass expectations. From handmade tortillas to succulent tacos and delightful desserts, every bite is a testament to their dedication to quality. A culinary fiesta that won't break the bank, Ben's Deli is a must-visit for Mexican food enthusiasts in Manhattan.
Ordered chicken flautas and they were great (I think they call them tacos doradas). Had to wait for the chef to come back and cook them, but well worth the wait. They came w/sour cream, cheese, lettuce, radishes, guacamole and tomato and 4 containers of salsa verde, pico de gallo, sour cream, and spicy sour cream. Unfortunately it seems to be difficult to order over the phone so they need to improve that as I wanted to order again but nobody picked up....
The chef offered to cook me something just for me. It was great. I really like when small companies can flourish in this city. Ask the chef to make you something special and he'll ask you a few questions and make you something great.

Was recommended by a person that works at the health center. Authentic Mexican food inside a bodega. You would not think it's good, but it is. Quick bite to eat on lunch break

The people were really nice, food was good. I ordered a vegetarian burrito and got some pieces of chicken in it at the bottom, so that was disappointing. Probably won’t go back there because of it but that’s just me

Worst place ever! Everything is a million dollars and you have to request utensils before you leave! Better off going to burger King across the street overly over rated! Don't waste your time or money!
The deli is nice. That is not the problem. The problem is the chef making the Mexican food. I went in there and saw him wearing no gloves and then put his finger in his mouth and started handling food. Like I really want covid from him... The health dept should investigate him.
