Bravo Kosher Pizza New York Reviews
Great late night pizza! I Went out with some friends and made it about 30 minutes before they closed. I got cheese slices and garlic knots. My other friends got different kinds of pizza toppings (peppers, eggplant, etc). Everyone enjoyed themselves and there was plenty of seating because they have an upstairs once you pass the pizza counter.
Delicious and friendly place. Maybe it was the owner who sat nearby. I don’t imagine a customer would bus other tables after their meal. He was very welcoming. I would’ve had wanted more had we not just had dinner. The white pizza we had was fresh with a nice crisp. Would come back!
Bravo Pizza absolutely delivers every single time. The crust had that perfect balance — crispy on the outside, soft and airy inside — with just the right amount of char underneath. The sauce was rich and flavorful without overpowering the cheese, and the toppings were fresh and generously portioned. Nothing greasy, nothing sloppy — just clean, classic, well-executed pizza. Service was quick and friendly, even during peak hours. You can tell the team runs the place efficiently and takes pride in what they’re serving. The space itself is clean, organized, and gives you that authentic neighborhood pizza spot feel. In a city full of pizza options, Bravo stands out for consistency, quality, and flavor. Definitely a go-to spot. Highly recommended.
First time at Bravo Pizza and… we kinda went all in. Had to try one of everything—for research purposes, of course. Let’s start with the Tomato Basil with soft mozzarella. Wow. Just wow. That slice was next-level. Fresh, creamy, a little tangy… it tasted like summer in Italy landed on a perfect crust. Then came the Pineapple Jalapeño—sweet meets spicy in the best kind of flavor battle. If you like a little kick, this one’s your guy. We also tried the classic cheese (solid, comforting, no frills), mushroom (fancy but still fun), and the roasted veggie (basically health food, right?). Olive, regular pineapple and a bunch of others in the pics below. Each slice had its own vibe and we weren’t mad at any of them. Great crust. Awesome toppings. Chill vibe. We’ll definitely be back.
Amazing pizza and super welcoming service! The pizza was absolutely delicious — crispy, flavorful, and fresh out of the oven. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and Alex made the experience even better with his great energy and attention. Definitely one of the best pizza spots I’ve been to!
Tried this place after a trip to the empire state, was the only place we went back to a second time. Best pizza in New York and very friendly service. Reasonable prices. Very clean facilities. The owner hearing our British accent came over to talk to us to see how our trip was going. Easiest recommendation if any one asks where to eat in New York
First time here and the way I got to this place was totally random. I was just walking by on my way back home after a “not so good” day and I was hungry. I was just passing by this place in the exact moment when I decided to have something to eat and boom, there it was Bravo Pizza. I was attracted by the good looking pizzas you could see by the street. I never knew this place so I entered and then I was told that: we only sell veggie pizzas😅😅. So I was like, ok what the hell I just entered here and they were giving me a good service so I stayed and had: the pizza with cauliflower and the marinara and both were AMAZING, one of the best pizzas I had in NYC. Quality ingredients, good kosher pizza indeed. I will surely continue coming to this place. The service was very good. 👋👋
Walked in to use the washroom, stayed for the pizza. They have so many options to choose from, and the two I had were great. The service was fast and the pizza was a 10 out of 10.
A warm slice of pizza that takes you home. It was sooo good! Staff was super nice and friendly, everything was clean and the pizza is kosher certified so it’s a great plus. Would definitely come back 😊
Lunch on the hoof, right near the exit from ESB Observatory, Mozzarella Sicilian and Grandma Slice, plus 3 Garlic Knots less than $15. Hot, fresh and delicious bases and sauces. Mwwhhh!!
Seriously, some of the best veggie pizza I have ever had. The loaded veggie was spectacular and the spinach and mushroom was sautéed with garlic and oil. Most places don’t do that. It added so much extra flavor. Would recommend!
Amazing spot! A must while in Manhattan! Amazing cheese fries and pizza, of course. Phenomenal customer service as well! Speak to Levi for any detailed items. 👏 Bravo to Bravo!
The cheese pizza was fresh out of the oven, just made and delicious. The warmed up slices --a grandma (which is a square Sicilian slice of cheese toast with a big dollop of sauce in the middle), a mushroom, and a pasta slice (yes, penne pasta on a slice of pizza)--were good, but not "the best". I love a good hot pizza. Excellent flavor all around. The sauce on the grandma was nice and sweet. They have shakers of garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper, so that was a nice change from the usual packets you get places. If you can get a pie fresh made, do it. Not sure if they do that, though. Also, we were there late on a Sunday and they ran out of fries and fried ravioli, so those must be good. Maybe I'll get on them next time.
Really good pizza! Fast and friendly service. Ill be back! (Arnold voice)
Very nice service and very delicious pizza. I would say the best cost-benefit-ratio for pizza To-go in the city. Also the garlic knots are very good! But don’t plan going on a date after eating them, they have plenty of garlic on them, which is still delicious but stays with you for some time.
This is seriously great pizza. Period. Not because it is kosher. But because it has great sauce and crust. Well balanced. Great flavor and texture. Seating options both downstairs and upstairs. Lots of fun pizzas to choose from, I usually get one regular slice and one Sicilian but other family members love the ones with different toppings.
Our first visit to NYC. We stopped here walking back from Empire State Building. The pizza in the window looked so good. Found out once inside that it was kosher and had no meat. We pressed on. I tried a plain cheese slice and a white pizza slice. Hubby had a loaded veggie slice. This is that greasy foldable NY pizza you hear about. Kosher or not, meat or not, the pizza was freaking delicious! One of our favorites from our whole trip. Great pizza.
Pricey but unique and delicious variety of pizza slices. The bbq chicken slice was top 5, with the buffalo bacon ranch a close second. Pepperoni was a safe pair of hands bur nothing special and Hawaiian was worth skipping. Loved the service and after seeing them make the fresh pasta to order, wish I had tried it.
Great pizza. I didn’t realize that Kosher Pizza could be so good. Asked for a slice of the most iconic pizza and they didn’t disappoint. Great place. Plenty of seating.
Probably the best kosher pizza I ever had hands down. I got two slices and fries absolutely delicious! The pizza itself is a thin slice with a nice char but also a good chew yummy sauce and not too sweet and then the cheese I don’t know what mix it is but so flavourful. Definitely gotta make my way back soon.
If you’re looking for great NYC pizza, here it is. Only catch is, no meat in this establishment. Didn’t know until I ordered, but still got a pizza with many toppings. It was delicious. The crust is perfect! (crust is what it should be-crusty! And able to hold up the pizza). We went here looking for “NY style pizza” and were more than satisfied. I would say you should definitely stop by this pizza joint.
I come by once in a while. The pizza is really good and fresh, the store is usally very busy
Great Pizza and Excellent Service! I had a great experience at Bravo Pizza! The service was fast and friendly, and the staff made me feel welcome. The pizza was delicious – fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of crispy. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or sitting down for a meal, this place is a solid choice. Highly recommended!
I would like to give my highest recommendation to this place. The food was excellent, especially the pizza, with great flavor and quality. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.
I stumbled upon this pizzeria in Brooklyn, and it was a real treat! The pizza instantly reminded me of Italy, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that really hit the spot. The place has a relaxed, friendly vibe that makes you feel right at home. Portions were generous, and the staff was welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d return to whenever I’m in the area it’s a little slice of Italy in New York!
Thank you for your kind response. For me, your pizza is more than just a meal; it's a short, delicious trip to the heart of Italy. It's truly a masterpiece how you've managed to combine the passion and authenticity of Italian cuisine with such excellent quality. Bravo on your work.
Omg. I just stopped here cause I was starving. My husband and I were SO impressed. It was so much better than we anticipated. Absolutely delicious!!! And so much cheaper than we expected too.
Amazing delicious pizza one of the best kosher ones in the area might be slightly over-hyped but still great. The fries weren't the best and we couldn't tell the difference between the regular fries and the seasoned ones. Drink for some reason gotta be expensive but for their location that makes sense for what youll pay walking around Manhattan... Lots of dining space even tho the seats may be a little packed together and they have a TV screen with the news and can be very helpful. I didnt understand the way they work like you order and then pay at a different spot with no tickets or anything.. Reviews unlimited.
The pizza is good/alright Kosher pizza, for what it's worth. It's got the vibe you would expect and the slices are delectable and not too too overpriced. I would honestly give it 5 stars if it weren't for an unsavory experience we had as the place closed at 2am on Sat. night. I totally understand the need for customers to leave the building at closing time so that workers can close up and go home. However, it is never acceptable for workers (the Mashgiach, in this case) to actively shoo customers out (with loud declarations and much pomp) only minutes after serving them food (and still 5 minutes before 2am!). Some constructive criticism–If you would like to close at 2am, then stop serving food at 1:30, or at least make it automatically to-go, or something like that.
Great place to have a slice (or two) of pizza. Also kosher certified... Slices are thin crust with lots of veggies or other ingredients. The atmosphere is a typical pizza slice place. Friendly staff. If you have time, I'd recommend you to have to go and head to Bryant park, which is only a few blocks away...
Good pizza only veg.
Great kosher pizza. Think the prices are on the higher end. I bought 2 reg slices and one vodka slice came to just over $12. It is Manhattan so it is kind of expected. Pizza layout looks amazing. Cleanliness and presentation is okay.
Disappointing but I keep ordering and keep being disappointed. I understand that there are holidays but please do not accept orders for days you know you will be closed. It is not fair to the consumer. I order from here because it's accessible and at least 3 different times, there has been NO COMMUNICATION and my order was not received - I assume it's because of a closure but I honestly don't know. Folks who eat kosher need food too, I am struggling to understand how management finds it acceptable to take people's money, allow them to set delivery dates and times but not communicate if unable to adhere to that due to any reason. Please do better. I want to order from here but every time I do it is more stress than if I'd ordered from elsewhere. Update 10/14: Updating this review as I was contacted by management and offered a refund for my most recent order. I appreciate the communication and the urgency with which this situation was handled. I give grace to the team and I do plan to order from Bravo in the future. Communication is super important and as the team seemed to be understanding, I hope my feedback helps Bravo and other customers provide and receive the service they deserve for their money. Like I said, I do plan to order in the future and will be sure to do my due diligence to call a few days before placing to order and the day of to follow up. Thanks Steve for your help with this matter!
I pick up a package of too good to go, the portions are big but they gave it to me frozen and it doesn't matter what flavor of the pizza you choose, it only tastes like the tomato on the base
The taste of the pizza with cheese and sauce was really good BUT it looked like they heated my slice up in a microwave…definitely order a whole pizza rather than an individual slice. If the re-heat process of my slice was better, this pizza has the potential to be the BEST kosher pizza I’ve eaten in the city.
This place has a nice variety of pizza, and I've tried of few of them, they look great but they could use just a tad bit more flavor, maybe a more flavorful marinara sauce could help, I'm no expert but I have had a ton of pizza, overall Bravo Pizza is worth a try
Very good pizza… but the price is very high for 2 slide and soda 18$
We arrived at this pizza joint to buy a family dinner. We got a family sized pizza and three of the garlic bread. We got the pizza half regular mozzarella and half fresh mozzarella. We asked for Parmesan on top. The service was poor. No air conditioning in the store. Was hot AF Location was filthy. From discussing floors to dirty chairs. The pizza has a beautiful undercarriage and a good crust.Nice scotched taste on the crust. The pizza itself was way too greasy. It was so great that it didn’t stop dripping oil everywhere as we were trying to eat the pizza. No taste of Parmesan whatsoever. Didn’t taste like they added it to the pie. The kind of pizza you’d expect in a bar and would eat only when you’d be completely wasted. Not in a proper restaurant. The garlic bites were not good. Too much oil, too little garlic. We were four people and couldn’t finish more than two. And they are really small in size. ——kosher, cholov Yisrael——
Walking buy the store window looks amazing with all types of topping pizza. I got my favorite slice 🍕 the margarita. The sauce tastes like it came out of a jar. The price is $6. Way to much if you ask me I would of rather went to go get a dollar slice.
Pizza didn't have bad flavor but that was the greasiest pizza I've ever eaten. The grease filled the whole plate 🍽 I could have dipped the garlic knots in a bowl of grease made from the pizza grease. The garlic knots should be called stuffed grease knots.
Not recommended at all. We drove almost an hour with five couples to enjoy a kosher pizza place, and we left completely shocked and disappointed. We waited about 30 minutes just to get a table because the place was full. When we finally sat down and ordered, the food arrived in about 10 minutes. Then, when we asked for a simple dipping sauce, they charged us one dollar for an extremely tiny amount of a cheap and not tasty sauce. The pizza itself was completely average. We could have ignored that, but then came the part that honestly shocked us. Less than ten minutes after we started eating, one of the staff members came to us and, with unbelievable rudeness, basically told us to leave because we had been sitting “too long” and they needed the table for other customers. For a full minute he kept pressuring us to get up and go. We felt very uncomfortable, so we left and had to finish our food outside in the cold. This was one of the worst and most embarrassing restaurant experiences I have ever had. We will definitely not come back, and we will also let our friends know. Completely unacceptable and very disappointing.
The marinara square looked & tasted stale & burnt as if it was from the night before (see photo). It definitely was sitting out for many, many hours. It was also doughy, chewy, and not a good flavor. The plain cheese slice had a big hole in the middle (see photo), did not taste fresh, it was reheated- seem like it was sitting there for hours, the crust edge was close to burnt from reheating, and it was smaller than regular slices usually are. I did not get the fresh mozzarella triangle slice I requested, instead I was given some red & white square slice that did not taste good. These slices are also over priced.
I can say this... Pizza terrible, atmosphere just ok, and service plain out sucks. I would not come here again and would not recommend. There are far too many options out there to come here. Especially for the very expensive prices. Food looks great, but looks can be deceiving, and don't even think of getting any type of service here. Just NO!
The pizza is average on a good day, and below average on most. There is no flavor in the sauce and the dough is chewy. We have had consistent problems with being overcharged and receiving the wrong orders. Today we ordered 14 pizzas and ALL of them came squished, damaged, and stuck together. When we brought this to their attention they didn't offer any solutions and refused to give us credit.
I live in a neighborhood and when I tell you, this was the most horrible pizza I have eaten in a long time. I came home Shortly after I ate my pizza, which I got a regular pie And I immediately started getting stomach heartburn. The sauce and ingredients to use are very very cheap. I do not recommend this to anyone that lives in the neighborhood. Igor wants to try this bravo pizza. I feel bad for the Tauruses.
Was relying on this location for kosher lunch before my train and they wouldn't open the door for me even though it was 11:40am on a Sunday. Really not cool. Had to travel hungry
Food here is good, however the service from the person who answers the phone is horrible. They missed a few items from my delivery order and when reordering they yelled at me when I requested extra sauce to make up for the original missed order. Don’t yell at your customers especially when you’re in the wrong.
