Centro Pizza New York Reviews
Reasonably priced hot pizzas and menu for actual good portions, would eat here often and would always pick the thick philly cheesesteak 10/10. Its usually clean and chill to dine in and eat, plus the customer service is decent. Its not crowded, music is a nice add on, and theres many drinks available, would recommend trying this place!
Generous portion sizes, tasty food, great staff. What more could you ask for? We ordered a tricolor pizza and baked ziti. It was awesome. Would recommend.
The staff is friendly, quick, and genuinely welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Whether I’m grabbing a quick slice or ordering a whole pie for friends, they never disappoint. Their garlic knots and pasta dishes are also surprisingly good, so it’s easy to find something for everyone.
One of my favorite spots in the city! Amazing pizza and garlic knots. Staff is super accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend.
This spot is the real deal! The wings are crazy good and super crispy outside, juicy inside, and full of flavor. The margarita pizza is fresh and light with mozzarella, basil, and that perfect sauce. And don’t even get me started on the buffalo slice… spicy, cheesy, and just so good. You can tell they actually care about what they’re serving. If you’re in the mood for pizza and wings, this is the place I’d tell you to check out.
The pizza here is really good! A pepperoni slice is around $4.00 and it’s a huge slice. It’s crunchy, just enough cheese and tomato sauce. Their garlic knots are also SUPER GOOD!! I also love how they are open extremely late for those who want a quick bite. The workers here are great and always serve people with kindness! I recommend this place and it’s definitely 10/10
Fast, simple, easy, nice staff. And doesn’t hurt the wallet at $3.26 w tax for a plain cheese slice. The cheese was good and the Dough is chewy. Standard pizza NYC is used to. It’s just too much dough for me as I like paper thin and more sauce and Crispy and light bottom. And in summer heat the AC was not really on…maybe slightly and a fan in one area near the kitchen. So you can’t go wrong for the price. Thank you for a quick bite! The cheese slice is good and only $3.26 total w tax and you can use credit card for just this. Makes life easy!
Highlt recommended! I believe this is a typical NYC slice. It is not an overhyped, crazy wait, price or social media thing, honestly, this is a long time local neighborhood staple that I love to support. Very friendly and consistent service, a ton of variety of fresh and yummy slices always ready (you can customize it if you'd like!) And a broad menu of pizza, sandwiches, salads, pastas, etc. Lots if seating inside and out. I like the classic Margherita slice, always hits the spot. Enjoy!!
Can't really describe the taste. Not Italian tasting (my preference) but not bad. In fact, I can't discern any particular seasoning style. Sauce is kind of sweet. The cheese is a bit undercooked, would have had more flavor if it had been Browned some. Crust flavor is pretty good, but you don't really notice it until you get past the topping. It's an okay slice for an okay price ($2.75) but nothing to get excited about.
On Super Bowl Sunday 2/8/26, I ordered a whole pizza and a few specialty slices. A few hours after eating, I ending up getting very sick, and felt nauseous. I soon realized this was food poisoning. I’m extremely upset, and this is not the first time I’ve gotten sick from this establishment. I normally don’t like to leave reviews especially bashing a business, but I’m very upset, and selling medical attention. Super unsafe to be serving food that’s infected to the public. I know others who have issues with this place as well. It’s day 4, and I’m still sick and cannot hold in my food.
Horrible experience with customer service, they are very rude to people who are paying for food. You would think they are forcibly giving food away with the attitude they give you. I walked in and no one said a thing. I don’t understand why they are so angry, I walked in with a smile and they were looking at me like I was their enemy. I wish they were more kind to their customers. Please owner, speak to your employees! Nobody asked what pizza I wanted, they all just looked at me until I said, can I get…. I’m paying for this food, it’s not free, I expect them to treat all customers with respect. I never had a previous interaction until today but they seemed to have so much anger towards me
I don’t know why they are always so mad, first customer of the day and they looked at me until I asked who do I tell what pizza I want. I don’t need a smile just good customer service, the pizza is good but the service is horrible
They were cool people inside but besides this place being open very late, I would still not recommend this pizza. Way too greasy.
I walked in for lunch today, trying to order a slice. None of their slices are labeled. The guys in the back are clearly bothered when you ask them what the slices are so I left and I’m never walking back in. It is ridiculous that you are bothered by a person asking you what the slices are made of when none of them are labeled.
Got a Hawaiian pizza and it was average. The cheese cake was frozen. Frozen solid like a brick. Was told to leave it out for 10 min and it would thaw out. Bricks don’t thaw in 10 min or an hour. Just avoid this place and go to any other pizza place
I’ll preface it with saying they do have a decent pizza. However, these wings were without a doubt, the most disgusting buffalo wings I have ever encountered. Each piece was a sad, greasy mess of soft, rubbery skin and fat, with hardly any actual meat to speak of. I had to perform surgery to find microscopic bits of meat beneath layers of fat. Out of 8 wings, I struggled to find more than a few tiny scraps of edible meat —it was like eating a pile of leftovers. I eventually gave up and threw it away. No crunch, no flavor, just a greasy pile of regret. Unless you’re willing to gamble your taste buds on the wings, just stick to the pizza.
