Colomba Coffee New York Reviews
I couldn't pass by the magnificent snowman made by the coffee shop worker. And yes, the coffee is great! It's a friendly atmosphere. Nice music. I warmed up on this snowy day.
I was early for my appointment.I devuded to check out this bakery. The staff/owner is nice and friendly. I only ordered coffee just to pass the time by.No indoor seating though tbey have alfresco. But for this weather in 20plus degrees .nooo
Excellent coffee. Crumbly and tasty croissants, my favorite is the almond one, the raisin roll is also an absolute must try, all accompanied with a creamy oat milk draft latte. Even for the savory breakfast there is a wide choice: I specially tried the savory croissants with sausage and eggs, together with a fresh pressed juice. Very welcoming staff.
Sal is amazing! Aaron made an incredible hot choclate. Seriously the best! ✨
Great food, super friendly guy Sal. Nice buisness
Love the newest addition to the UES neighborhood. Such a cute & cozy coffee shop. You won’t find a better cappuccino anywhere else! And my favorite snack to grab so far is the focaccia with spinach & egg. Can wait to try their other items, Everything looks delicious!
Best coffee in town. Cold brew is super smooth, delicious sandwiches. Highly recommended!!!

Absolutely love this cafeteria! The service is always outstanding — the staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel genuinely welcome every time you visit. And the cookies… wow! They’re freshly baked, perfectly soft, and absolutely delicious — easily the best I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great coffee, amazing treats, and exceptional service!
Latte was delicious, vibe was great, and the barista Sal a joy to be around. It’s wonderful to see someone loving what they do and sharing their joy. Thank you!
I go to the Lexington Avenue location and the service is superb. Sal and Andrea are always so friendly and make the best cortado! Perfect place to start or end your day or anytime in between.
I was here for the first time the other morning and really enjoyed it. The employees were really sweet. I was having a hard time deciding what to order and Andrea gave me some suggestions. Loved it. Will be back.
Come here nearly every day for a latte. I’ll go out of my way to get coffee here, it’s always excellent, never bitter. Good to support local business over chains, too! Everyone who works here is lovely, so kind and attentive. I’ve had nothing but an excellent experience. :)
Excellent bakery. The breads and pastries are always fresh, the quality is consistent, and the place is clean and welcoming. A true 5-star spot
I love Colomba Bakery. Every Wednesday, Thursday, and occasionally Monday. I love the bakery and would recommend it to everybody.

I’ve been to this place multiple times and really like their coffee an croissants. Yesterday when I came there was a very nice guy working who told me about special croissants that are baked daily at the coffee shop! Which is amazing!! But today when I stopped by there was a girl working and to my questions ‘do you have any special croissants left’ she responded ‘everything we have is at the window’… If it was my first time coming here I would probably never come back and would never know about the daily baked croissants.

I got their ube latte. It was absolutely disgusting. It tasted like nothing. There’s no espresso shot in it. When I asked them the question about is there any trace of coffee bean in here, they gave me a sassy remark saying “no, but you knew that didn’t you”. I didn’t want to be confrontational so I said I guess? I think most people would think they are going to get some sort of espresso shot or at the very least coffee and not just want yucky purple milk? Completely off put by their attitude and kind of shocked they are advertising this horrifying concoction. What waste of time, effort, and money!!
I stopped by this coffee place just because I was in the area. It was one of the closest spots, so I thought I’d grab a coffee. While waiting for my order, I noticed a man and a woman working there. Every single customer that came in and left, the woman made rude comments about them — literally every one. At one point, she even said something about a lady who comes in often and says “Ciao bella” to the man — like it bothered her. If you’re that woman, just know she talks behind your back. Honestly, it’s disgusting. And it didn’t stop there — after I picked up my coffee and walked toward the door, I heard her start talking about me too. I stopped at the entrance and clearly heard it. This is ridiculous. If you’re running a business and can’t control what you say about your customers, maybe you shouldn’t be in customer service at all. Completely rude and ignorant behavior. Never going back.

Unacceptable Behavior From the Barista. This happened on Tuesday morning to me and my husband. We’ve been coming to this coffee shop for a long time, but the barista’s behavior this time was completely out of line. The attitude was rude, dismissive, and made us feel like we were bothering her just by ordering. And unfortunately, this wasn’t the first time—we’ve noticed the same attitude on previous visits as well. To be clear, the guy at the register is always great: friendly, respectful, and one of the reasons we’ve kept coming back. But the barista’s behavior consistently overshadows the positive parts of the experience and makes the entire visit unpleasant. Good coffee doesn’t excuse bad customer service. We genuinely like this place, but we shouldn’t have to deal with repeated disrespect when all we want is a morning coffee.
I often come to this coffee shop for my latte. The girl at the coffee machine is almost always rude and aggressive. On Tuesday, November 25th, I asked if it was possible to have my latte in a 16 oz cup, but the girl aggressively told me that it wasn't possible. I was truly shocked and disappointed, considering i spend my money at this coffee shop. I will never go back. It was a truly shocking experience.
Just really bad drinks, matcha is in clumps. It’s just bad coffee and matcha, it seems like the guy is nice but he has no idea what he’s doing. It’s just bad basically.
